I have had the displeasure of using the services of many Estate Agents, and sadly were very typical of the reputation they have.
How refreshing to accidentally come across the team at Castle-Estates.

They estimated property well over market value & then kept putting price down over £50,000, still didnt get any interest, they only push the adverts first time of putting property on then there is no follow up social media push, also had complaints off the people that we had view to say its been a nightmare for them to call back & arrange viewing, I would not recomend to use at all, to make it worse they are the most expensive ones to use.

I can't recommend Castles enough. After not having much success selling my home with a previous estate agent, I decided to move to Castles and I’m so pleased I did!
Living abroad and trying to sell a house in the UK definitely had its challenges, but from the very start of the process to completion, both Gavin and Heidi were a breath of fresh air, very professional, approachable and super helpful. Even when dealing with all my emails, messages etc, and a painfully slow solicitor (on the buyers’ side)! The lines of communication were always open.
Plus, the photography and virtual tours of my home were of the highest quality and made my property look stunning.

Heidi and the team at Castle Estates were fantastic throughout the process, from the viewings with David, and helping us with the initial offer on the purchase all the way through to move-in day. Well, I never thought I'd be leaving a 5 star review for an estate agent, but after my experience with Castle Estates, it feels like the right thing to do.
Dealing with the sale of my late parents' house from over a hundred miles away was a daunting task, but after meeting with a few different agents I felt that Hannah understood both the practical and emotional stresses of the situation, and the tricky state of the market.
I was right.
Castle Estates handled all the viewings and gave me great advice on how to present the house for sale. There were some hurdles to overcome with buyers dropping out early on, but ultimately, everything worked out and Hannah and the rest of the team did exactly what they said they'd do: took control of things and sold the house to the right buyers at the right price.
I'll recommend them to anyone.

Although we didn’t select castle as our agent to sell, I was extremely happy with the services received by the team. From our Valuation through to handing over the keys on completion we had excellent service from all the team at Castle Estates.
The initial consultation valuation was both reflective of the market and attained. The guidance given from EPC to recommending a photographer was invaluable too.
Viewings were arranged in line with our wishes and also with covid government restrictions in force at the time. The team were always a phone call away to consult with a query, question or advice.
We found the processes in place a great comfort, checking financial matters with prospective buyers to liaising with our chosen solicitors.
From our experience we would recommend Castle Estates when considering selling a property and should the need arise we would use ourselves again.

Castle Estates have handled buying two houses for me and then selling each in the past 44 years.
Their service has always been excellent, and I had no hesitation in going back to them each time.
The latest transaction was selling a house I had rented to the same tenants for five years. The Castle team managed all the rental details seamlessly, including interviewing the tenants - who were excellent - and kept me up to date with legislation.
I think they - and the solicitors for both parties (for me John Cruickshank of Geoffrey Hill and Co, Hinckley) - all deserve praise for their combined teamwork to conclude an extremely smooth sale.
The tenants left on November 16, 2020, and kindly allowed viewings while they were still living there - just two took place; the first viewers bought the house! The sale was completed on December 10, 2020 - an incredible achievement at any time but particularly when Covid is being blamed by many organisations for delays.

I have very rarely spoken to such an arrogant person. Rang with a very genuine question regarding the commission rates and the man I spoke to was very rude and basically asked me if I had read the paperwork! I had read it and wanted a bit more information . He seemed to feel that because he had given us his name and phone number that it justified a much higher commission rate. Part way though the call I told him that I didn't think it was the fit for us - when asked why I told him that I thought his manner was very rude. Would never use based on this service.

Generally very good. Description of my house was pretty accurate and the chosen pictures represented it nicely. Gavin was my estate agent, very polite and easy to talk to, well presented and friendly. I also understand there were a lot of viewings on my house which he and the team seamlessly organised as I was not living at the property. Giving constructive feedback a weekly 'drum roll' email update would help calm the nerves when selling but understand that that is very rare from estate agents as they have a lot of clients. Overall happy customer :) - thank you.
