I am only giving this agency one star because there isn't any other option, I would give them zero if I could. Century 24 Leyton is the worst estate agency I have come across! Knowing we had only eight days left to move in, they wasted our time by not telling us that the studio flat is no longer available (on the 6th day and after receiving three months rent and one month deposit in advance) without a valid explanation! They then showed me three other double rooms (two of which were in the most horrible condition) and when I asked the agents for what the rent is, they said that we will discuss this when we go back to the office, so they decide on what the rent is going to be on the spot! They don't answer phone calls even though I've been told that the office opens at 10am I was unable to get through to them until 12 noon (this happened three times), they read and don't reply to your messages and they don't send you holding fee receipts and absolutely avoid communicating with you via emails because they don't want to be tied down legally (this is because they're also unprofessional). The agent mockingly said he had "good news and bad news" on our 6th day (so we had two days left to move in) and apparently the good news is that they received the money but bad news is that the property is not available! Absolute nightmare. When we realised we had no other option we decided to take one of the double rooms they showed me as an alternative and asked the agent in a message to email the holding deposit receipt and the tenancy agreement, again read it and didn't reply, I called them twice and they didn't answer the phone knowing it's me calling and when I asked him to call me he calls only to inform me that the landlord found a long term tenant (this is a lie because on our way to the viewing the agent said there are three rooms vacant because the market is really slow, please note that this was at 7:30pm) and the very next morning funnily enough the landlord finds a tenant! THEY ARE LIARS, THEY DON'T COMMUNICATE PROPERLY, THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL. DON'T BOTHER WASTING YOUR TIME WITH THIS AGENCY, ABSOLUTE DISAPPOINTMENT, AVOID AT ALL COSTS.... Read more

I have experienced most horrible customer service ever from this state agency. This service provider doesn't have any manners at all, in fact I think he doesn't even know how to talk professionally (dropped down phone saying F..K to customers). He literally asked us "who will decide about the property" (me or my girlfriend) and was accepting us to answer the question. So than he will only show the property to the particulate person ????????????. We don't want to share our personal information with a state agents, who would? Responsible authorities should be concern about that and take necessary action to prevent customers harassment.... Read more
