An appointment was made with Chancellors Sunningdale with a view to listing our property. The appointment was cancelled on the day. A follow-up appointment was a no show and a call logged with “client services” to query this was not addressed further. It seems this blatant disregard and inconsideration for other people’s time, which we can all ill afford at this time of year, is endemic throughout this company.

Chancellors were fantastic during my recent flat purchase in Sunninghill. All of the staff from the people doing viewings to the sales team in the office were super helpful at all times. From Kallee who showed me 4 properties in total, to Alex who helped push things along with the final sale when things got pretty complicated! He was the person in the middle who went the extra mile and took the stress out buying a new property! Thank you also to Daisy who was super flexible with her time and availability when i needed a kitchen designer to come and measure up before i had completed on the property, she juggled so many things to work my availability and that of the kitchen ppl. Alex French and an Estate Agents you can not trust .
My offer has been accepted, mortgage approved , money laundering fee of £80 paid to the same Estate Agents and passed , solicitor fee paid , the property was updated on their website to Sold STC and two weeks later he called to advise me that the vendor has decided to sell to another client .
Like in any other reviews I have read here Alex French has blamed the seller instead of addmitting that he was opened to offers during all this time .
I have asked for my £80 for money laundering checkes to be refunded since this is the only Estate Agency that is running money laundering checks independently and I wont need this in the future however I have been refused and even more assured that I am on their priority list to find me a property and have viewings even these properties are not yet on the market .
My question is ,who can assure me that this wont happen again?
And how many people have been told the same ???
It isn't enough that this process is stressful as it is but also you need to deal with a man of no honour that plays with people's money and feelings .
It's a shame that there is no law to protect the buyers and where to file a complain.

Highly unprofessional and unapologetic. I have made an offer on one of their listing for which I did not get any response for 10 days despite my chase to get an update. When I have made a formal complaint, I was sent a rejection letter to my offer and I was advised that seller has accepted another offer. Also, I was offered monies to close my complaint which annoyed me even more.I have been trying to work out the reason for it which may be not accepting any of their mortgage/legal assistance offers or probably selling this property to one of their contacts by making a disclosure to my offer. The whole incident is bizarre. I have taken my complaint to property redressal scheme to find out exactly what has happened. Please do avoid this estate agent and all the pain staking dealing with them.
In response to the owner statement: I did write to directors with my complaint and your response was a complete eyewash and thats why, I have taken my complaint to property redressal.
Final Outcome- Complaint was upheld by Redressal against Chancellors.

From a landlord’s perspective, Kate and Rosie have been very helpful and thorough throughout the rental process. I appreciate their prompt communication and the fact that they always follow up their phone calls with an email so we’re all on the same page and can easily refer back to the written communication so there’s never any doubt. They are both very professional and proactive and have made the rental process very easy. I also appreciated the “open house’ viewing of the property which was a much more efficient method of showing the property to multiple applicants on the same day. Our current tenants were very appreciative of this as well. The fact that our property was leased within the first 5 viewings is a bonus! We're having an awful experience of letting our property through Chancellors and frankly I don't know what we're paying the management fee for. The pre-tenancy inspection and inventory were not done until after the tenants had moved in, so we have an incomplete and inaccurate report and inventory, which we've still had to pay for! Perhaps worse still, I've been sucked into discussions with third party providers to deal with this incompetence. I may as well have managed the letting myself. The staff in the Sunningdale office are helpful & courteous but our experience is that once the deal is done, you're left with faceless, slow & inefficient central office service.

Both the sales and rental departments at Chancellors provide a first class service. Updates on viewings are consistently given within 24 hrs of each visit, general updates on the marketing of the property are issued every week, the personal service is outstanding - if the person you call is not in the office they always call you back. The professionalism of every member of staff makes dealing with Chancellors a pleasure. I would not hesitate to recommend this agent.

Don’t expect a phone call back from these guys. They’ll fob you off; they don’t address you by name; they’re sneaky at the terms they stick into contracts; staff come and go and they don’t have the courtesy to tell you; and customer service is a dead art here. Stick with Hamptons and Romans if you want to be treated like a human being, particularly if you’re expecting them to coordinate the handing over of substantial amounts of money for a major life decision - Chancellor in Sunningdale just don’t get it.

Chancellors Sunningdale has been an excellent estate agency. I have rented through them twice and on each occasion have received the best service from all their staff. They were quite good in understanding my needs and were very accommodating in arranging viewings, scheduling meeting. Also they didn’t charge any fee upfront and were very focused on getting me the right property.
Speacial thanks to Tabrez from Sunningdale office who was very helpful throughout the letting process. He is immensely knowledgable of the market and is always open to accomodate customers needs. Very good experience overall!

Chancellors apparently cannot count from 1 to 10 as they affix their sign boards wherever they like without any concern about damage to peoples property. Having bolted a sign board to my fence they were then completely unconcerned about it or any damage or inconvenience caused.

I bought a bungalow from Chancellors Sunningdale. Despite being on their mailing list for a small house or bungalow, I found it on Rightmove! FIltering of properties to specific clients is therefore not good. However the gentleman (Frazer Chown) who showed me round was very considerate to the owner who happened to be there and also keen to get answers to my questions. Subsequent dealings with Frazer were similarly productive, answering my calls or e-mails promptly.
