In hindsight I feel property was slightly overvalued given the state of the market, however staff were always helpful and extremely responsive, getting feedback where possible after every viewing and did suggest a price drop which got things going with the viewings. When we accepted an offer they assisted in moving things along quickly and we were able to move through to completion within 6 weeks. Katie, Julie Ann, Natalie and Stuart were all very knowledgeable and professional and I'd not hesitate to use them again

Cannot recommend Chapplins highly enough for securing the sale of our property. The sale of the property took time but this was not due to Chapplins but other factors.
It was a complicated transaction due to many parts (death of a co-owner and probate) but Chapplins handled everything extremely sensitively and with empathy. From the valuation to completion they were fantastic.
Just the right amount of information/feedback without feeling bombarded! Katie and Stuart (Havant) branch were both extremely approachable and understanding throughout the whole process.
If we lived in the area, I would have no hesitation in using them again.

I've just used Chapplins for the sale of my house and couldn't be happier!
During the 'go-to-market' phase they were the most genuine, honest and helpful people we talked to (that can be so rare in estate agents), and that never waived in the whole process. They gave us honest advise on the pricing, and explained the pros and cons of going above and below our targeted sale price which was so useful. At the same time, the decision felt like it was totally ours, and they never pressured us into anything. The house was on the market in no time, and we were so pleased with the advertising and photography.
During the pre-sale stage they were just as amazing - willing to work around us (as we work from home), but also giving us great advice on open day vs. independant house viewings. The viewings must have gone well, as we achieved our target price for the house sale, which in the current market can't have been easy to do!
Since Sale STC, I have probably been the most pesty client ever, but they've taken everyone of my calls with enthusiasm. They've been a really asset in moving the house sale along, and we wouldn't have been able to reach exchange so fast without them. They've also been so helpful with the first-time buyers we have buying our house, being open and honest about how things work in the process, and communicating the 'real-person' concerns that our buyers have had. It so easy to loose this when going through the solicitors as they always just talk facts, rather than explaining the reasoning.
We've now reached exchange and we're so excited to be moving in to our dream home. A BIG BIG thank you to everyone at Chapplins, but in particular Katie. They are estate agents rockstars and you would never regret choosing them should you decide to sell your house!

Kerry at Chapplins immediately responded to my initial queries about their services, and all of my communication was hastily responded to thereafter! I was particularly impressed by the team's management of the COVID19 restrictions and I was expecting difficulties and delays, but this was not the case. I was very anxious about the overall process especially due to the circumstances, but my mind was put at ease by the team's hasty work, professionalism and general reassurances. I was always updated with any progress, and the property sold very quickly! I used the Solicitor recommended by Chapplins, and I had a very good experience with them too. I would certainly approach Chapplins again if I were selling another property in the area.

After being on the market for 2 years with a previous sales falling through I decided to go with Chapplins given their recent success selling other properties on the road. Chapplins placed great care in marketing the property and following up with viewers to secure a purchaser. The interested purchaser turned out to be quite elusive which caused myself great concern given my previous experience with elusive purchasers. Chapplins supported myself through the decisioning process as to when would be the right time accept the offer and pushed hard to get the required progression out the purchaser whilst maintaining a good relationship with them. I have no doubt if this was handled by a less experienced Estate Agent the sale would have failed given the delays and long periods of lack of communication from the purchaser. Due to the persistence and professional approach taken by the Chapplins team all ended well and the sale completed successfully.

We selected Chapplins as our preferred Estate Agent after interviewing a number of local Estate Agents in the Havant area. All offered a good standard of service but Chapplins stood out as being positively "different" from the rest with high quality photographs and brochures to match. Displaying the property on the front page of the local property newspaper was also a bonus.
They clearly have a good sense of the local market with what turned out to be an impressive "back office" team supporting the lead Agents.
Throughout the sale process of our cottage they have not failed to impress us with their commitment to sell the property at the right price. As we were selling the property from "out of county" it was important that we selected an Estate Agent with a proven track record for good communication and professionalism. The Chapplins Team meet the criteria and more. From the moment the property went on the market the team keep us informed of progress, or lack of it, every step of the way resulting in a quick sale to a qualified buyer in under 8 weeks. Impressive given the condition and challenges our property offered.
