What a lovely family oriented team Chapplins are. I would highly recommend them.They take pride in their sales and purchases, they help to relieve the stresses of moving house. We felt sure as soon as we met them that they were the right team, and our instincts were spot on. We used them to sell my elderly mother’s house where she had been for over 60 years. From the initial proceeding when John came to value the house to Selina and Kirsty showing prospective buyers around to Chantelle doing all the conveyancing at the end and all the rest of the team, they all put her at ease and very aware of unsettling but exciting the next chapter of her life would be.Chantelle is a godsend

From the beginning of the process when we met Darren we felt assured that we would receive a professional service, which we did. The whole team visited our house before our property went on sale to ensure that they would be able to show potential buyers around, confident in the knowledge that they were familiar with our property. Chapplins were brilliant with selling our flat. From enquiry they were quick at responding and helpful with any questions we had.
Darren came to give us a valuation and was very informed on current prices of similar properties in our area. They were quick at organising photos for the property to be listed. They also were great at sending us properties of the criteria we were looking for and when viewing properties with them they were able to answer our questions confidently.
The communication from Chapplins was brilliant the whole time, we had contact with Darren, Chantelle, Selina and Kirsty, they were all professional and nothing seemed too much trouble. There were some delays in our chain but we were constantly informed of progress right up until completion.

We were exceptionally happy with the service we enjoyed with Chapplins from initial contact through to completion. We were very impressed with the initial advice and recommendations received from John although we had some reservations as his suggested value was far in excess of that we received from other agents and wondered if was just a ploy to secure the instruction. All of the team inspected the property to ensure any one in the office could deal with viewings or queries. However the advertised price still attracted good interest and we agreed terms very quickly within a week of marketing . Chapplins research into the buyer and their ability to perform were quickly concluded and solicitors instructed. Chantelle then progressed the sale to completion and whilst we had some potential issues with the buyer , Chantelle was able to negotiate a way through the issues , keep us informed and ease our concerns and enabled a prompt completion. We would have no hesitation in either using Chapplins again or indeed recommending them to anyone else to instruct them - great service and professionalism throughout.

Poor service after the best commission they can get they condone gazumping so SSTC means nothing on rightmove to them so beware. Stay away there are better estate agents around. Chantelle was quite rude and condescending when we dealt with her with an issue we had which was completely the vendors fault.

It took us months of jumping through hoops trying to secure a mortgage on the property, but never once did Darren or the team cease in supporting the sale and communicating with the vendors and ourselves. Chapplins are a stand out estate agent for me. We have bought and sold various houses over the years and always used Chapplins. I made the mistake of going with another agent to start with this time round (strategic to buy another house we wanted that was on with that agent) I couldn’t believe the difference in service and communication. They were shocking. I took my house of the market with the other agent and went back to Chapplins, I should never have gone with anyone else, lesson learned. Other agents could learn a thing or two from Chapplins. We sold our house in days for the full asking price. Chapplins provided excellent service, communication. We dealt mostly with Chantelle and Darren. Everyone else was also great and we felt like we were valued clients all the way through the process and not just at the beginning to get us signed up. I did interview another agency, but after seeing Chapplins, they had no chance.
I think having a decent agent is a bit like insurance......when you need them to step up, a good one is worth their weight in gold. Chantelle and Darren kept our chain going under all sorts of difficult conditions. We really believe it is down to them that we are now very happily moved in to our new home.

We’ve just completed on our house sale today and I can honestly say, Chapplin’s deserve every single penny (if not more!) of their commission! They went above and beyond the typical role of an estate agent. They would go round and check on the property every two weeks whilst it was vacant so we were still covered by our insurance and when a neighbor reported a potential problem at the property, they were straight round there to check everything was in order! I Rented from Chapplins from October 2017 to February 2019, and being honest the administration fees are overcharged, the paperwork is unclear unless you read the small print and there's even the cheek to charge of £108 out of your deposit even if you leave at the end of your contract. Not to mention the service falls off a cliff once you pay the admin fee. If your thinking of renting from Chapplins, rent somewhere else.

Recently having to sell my family home due to a marriage breakdown i called a number of local estate agents. We had 2 dogs and knew that veiwings on the house would be difficult due to the dogs. Both properties were in excess of £530,000 with a reasonably long chain.
Darren and his team are extremely professional in all aspects of the sale process and negotiated seamlessly through this complex minefield.
i would not hesitate to recommend them to any prospective seller.

I would recommend this firm of Estate Agents without hesitation.
There is no way that I will say that house selling and buying is stress free, but the team at Chapplins, Fareham make it as easy as they can.
Our house was under offer within 10 days of going on the market.
The phone is always answered promptly in a very cheerful manner, and no matter who answers they appear to know who I am and at what stage we are at. Impressive.

All the promises he made on behalf of the Estate Agents at that initial meeting were kept. Our house sold to its first viewers but later in the process matters got more complicated. Darren pulled out all the stops to keep things moving.As we were living away during the period of the sale it was reassuring to get constant updates and always a prompt call back if staff were out when we called. I've used this agent twice - firstly to purchase my home and then to sell it. On both occasions they were extremely helpful, honest and upfront and professional throughout. When purchasing a property through them I had sold my previous property privately and when things came to a halt they went above and beyond and oversaw the chasing of that sale as well so I didn't have to. A change of circumstances forced the sale of the house the I had purchased from them and I had no hesitation in going back to them for them to sell it again. They made what was a very difficult and stressful time for me so much easier to deal with, right up until the keys were handed over to the new buyer. I cannot recommend Chapplins enough.

I can't praise the staff at Chapplins enough for the efficient way they dealt with my mother's house move. They are no doubt an outstanding estate agents, and all staff had a courteous, friendly and professional manner with a nothing-is-too-much-trouble attitude. Any phone messages or concerns that I had were always responded to in a timely way. For me this created a confidence and trust that they were working hard on my mother's behalf. In addition I was very impressed by the way they communicated regularly so we were kept informed. Darren seemed to go above and beyond his role to ensure the smooth running of the sale between all agencies. It was a sad house move for my mother but Darren and Chantelle demonstrated great understanding, compassion and empathy, and for this we are very grateful.

We bought our new home through Chapplins in Fareham. The team there worked tirelessly to try and make the whole experience as stress free as possible. A lot of the time they were doing the work of 'Purple Bricks' and 'Premier Property Lawyers' who we were signed up to (I would never recommend either of them!). I've used Chapplins to sell my home twice now and used them for a house purchase also. From start to finish they have been exceptional. Informative, knowledgeable, punctual and I cannot fault them in any way.

The entire process was rather complex however the team at Chapplins ensured it was virtually stress free for us. Communication was superb and I am so pleased Chapplins helped us through our hurdles! Decided to sell my flat with chapplins after a friends recommendation and I can say I was not disappointed! Speaking to all the staff on what could be a daily basis they were all very friendly and extremely helpful. All the staff did everything to make the sale plain sailing and took a lot of stress off me while it was going through. I would highly recommend chapplins as an estate agent but in particular Darren was brilliant throughout the process. If I could give them 10 stars I would!!!
