I have dealt with Chris for almost 10 years, I have bought x3 houses from him and sold x2 with him also. Great service every time. Honest from the get go and works with you to make sure you are making sure you are getting what is required.
Always polite to people and even if he bumps in to you in his personal time on the weekend, he will always go out of his way to say hello.
Jeanette & Lisa in the office also work wonders in keeping you up to date every step of the way.
They all have a great relationship with the local solicitors which always helps for a quick sale.
I would go to Chris every time.

Poor service. Reached out to them twice by telephone and by email to arrange a house viewing and no response or spoke to staff who were at best disinterested.
The lack of availability of property probably means that don't have to work very hard to sell or let with buyers waiting in the wings but at least have the courtesy to respond to enquiries.

Zero star, you sold your good friend's house to my brother that was absolutely riddled with mould, needing a new roof with serious water damages to the foundations and roof/ceilings. The owner (your good buddy) had been pumping water out which you nor he ever disclosed to us during nor after the sale and covered up so these weren't detected during the servay's, also the mold and damp was so severe it caused my young child at the age of 2 to become asthmatic. I think your a disgrace the state of the properties you sell for the price without prior warnings to the buyers health or safety, then again seems this agents only cares for the money. Anyone looking to sell or buy I'd suggest to go elsewhere.

Chris and his team have been fantastic since day one.
Chris valued my house £15,000 over other local agents, which I thought was a very confident valuation. After the survey it was agreed that the price would be reduced by £2,000.
That just shows that Chris and his team want the best for both buyers and sellers and they are experts in this field and know exactly what they are talking about.
I would highly recommend Chris Wilkinsons Estate agents if you are considering buying or selling a home.

After using Chris Wilkinsons Estate Agents, for my house move 18 months ago and 9 years prior to that, and being extremely happy with their service, I decided to go back to them for mortgage support whilst remortgaging.
Abdul supported us throughout the process, working all hours and always available when needed. He never fails to pick up the phone or answer any questions, deals with things promptly and has a great knowledge of the process to make sure you get exactly what you need from your personal mortgage requirements. I cannot recommend him and the team enough!

I'll never understand why estate agents think their time is more important than yours. Nearly ten minutes after the appointment time for a bungalow on Dudley Road we got a call to say they were on their way. Needless to say we were on our way by then. A potential sale obviously wasn't that important to them. I give zero for customer service.

Quite a frustrating experience. On one of our viewings in a house we were really interested in, we were rushed round and told we only had 5 minutes, even to the point where he was shouting in asking if we are done....this is a potential life changing decision for someone involving a lot of money...shouting 'are you done yet' was just infuriating.
The reason we were rushed is because he had another appointment to get too but that's his problem not ours, very unprofessional on his part.
At the end of it all, after getting a mortgage application approved and paying for searches to be carried out, they told us they have gone with a previous bidder instead...so we lost the money for the searches as they had already been carried out and have had to pay fresh for searches on another property we have put an offer on.
We personally avoid properties under Chris Wilkinson now.
Hoping every one else has a better experience than us.

Chris WIlkinson estate agents have been very helpful and supportive in the selling of our property. Chris is extremely friendly, honest and down to earth which is very admirable. Jeanette and Lisa are efficient and lovely ladies. We also used Abdul as our mortgage advisor, he was very helpful, extremely knowledgeable and ensured that we understood everything to do with mortgages and the process i.e. porting, changing, fees etc. We could contact any of them at any point of the day and they were always extremely happy to help. I would recommend this estate agent to anyone selling in the Irlam, Eccles, Hollins Green, Cadishead, Glazebury, Culcheth and surrounding areas - he is great value and so are the mortgage services! I wish I could give minus stars!! Tried for 3 weeks to arrange a viewing on different houses to no avail. When we finally got through we arranged 2 viewings. We then set off to the viewings (currently live 35 miles away) we missed a call from them and they left a message to say one of the houses had been let and they where confirming the second viewing, we called back to get an answer phone we arrived for the viewing. Noone was there or called back we waited for 15 minutes and noone turned up. Absolutely atrocious.

A genuinely wonderful experience from both Chris and Jeanette- they are very competent in their work and know their industry well- nothing was too much trouble at any stage of the house sale. I also purchased my previous property from Chris Wilkinson back in 2014 and again, I hadn’t impeccable service! Glazebrook Meadows houses are on an unadopted road with unadopted sewers. Please google this before bothering to view the houses. It is a major financial risk. This estate agent did not disclose this information when I started the buying process.
