I’ve recently started renting my new home through Coopers and am very pleased with the service they provided from the get-go. When I went for the initial viewing, I was greeted by Simon who was very friendly and told us lots about the area and property itself. Once my offer was accepted, the contractual agreement and financial details were sent through very quickly and I had no problems at all. I would just say it was a little difficult to get in touch with the office as the phone number online doesn’t seem to dial through to the office and at times I’d wait a day or 2 for a response to my email. That being said, once the time came around to collect my keys - I was running late to arrive but Simon was very accommodating and reassured me that he would still be there when I arrived as he was doing the inventory check in the meantime. He checked through the flat very thoroughly, in lots of detail and explained step by step what he had written and observed to ensure that I agreed. He also then sent through a copy to me the next day. All in all, a very positive and stress-free experience and would definitely recommend letting through Coopers to anyone looking!

We have moved in to a Coopers lettings apartment and so far very good, Simon showed us around and the viewing didn't feel rushed, we were able to properly view and ask questions, he knew the block and area well so this was helpful.
The finance and forms side of things was swift and quite painless, Melanie was really helpful when I had questions ahead of the move.
We were delayed getting to pick up the keys and this was managed brilliantly and they were really flexible; taking the stress out of the situation.
The apartment has quickly become home & hopefully we'll be here a good while.

I'd recommend avoiding them. They don't care for the tenants at all, rented us a house with all sorts of problems and left it to us to fix them. Very hard to get in touch with them and when we do they are mostly unprofessional and instead of taking responsibility they blame it on anyone else.

My wife and I had the pleasure to have lived in a property Managed by Coopers Lettings & Management for 3 and a half years, and which was ended purely due to my wife's ill health, and forcing us to move closer to her work.
Coopers have always been very Professional, courteous and polite in dealing with any issues we raised. I would fully recommend this Property Management company, and have no hesitation in returning to a property managed by them. A special thank you to Simon and Mel, who have at times exceeded their services and helped us out at short notice. Including reporting urgent defects which required Service Engineers swift attendance. A big thank you to all the Team at Coopers Lettings & Management.

Cooper's lettings is very reliable and very easy to deal with. My siblings and I found their service very swift and hassle free. We had minimal issues whatsoever over time we spent living in our flat in Erebus Drive (which we enjoyed very much). Simon and Steve were very friendly and helpful always. I would definitely recommend Cooper's Lettings to anyone and will be happy to rent with them again!

Coopers found us excellent tenants. As managing agents they offered a very good service and their fees are reasonable. The lady in accounts goes to work very early in the morning, so I always had my rent by 9am on the due date! They made it easy for us to be landlords. I recommend them without reservation.

I would highly recommend Coopers Lettings to anyone for accommodation – Steve and Simon are very Professional, Considerate, Friendly, and Helpful.
I moved into one of their flats on Erebus Drive West Thamesmead in 2010 and for 7 years, they have been brilliant. I would like to personally thank Steve and Simon from Cooper Lettings agents for making our 7 years stay in their flat stress free. Always going the extra mile in making us happy. We moved out of the property simply because we moved out of London or else we would still be living in the property.

At no point did me or others feel treated unfairly, and it was a pleasant experience meeting such a helpful person. As commercial leases carry certain inherent difficulties, we were happy to have such an experienced estate agent on board whom acted in the best interests of all parties.

I Have recently completed a tenancy with which was initiated by Coopers. From start to finish they were the most consummate and professional of letting agency. Everything was dealt with speed and efficiecy, most notably, viewings for us and for new tenants. We were always kept fully in the loop with the progress of both letting and the ending of our tenancy. We simply cannot rate or recommend them highly enough.

We were their clients for 3 years, renting an apartment in London. Although generally helpful, they intentionally omitted to respond to those emails that put them in a delicate position. For instance, at the end of our stay they refused to provide receipts for the monthly payments we had made, despite being repeatedly requested.
After 2 annual contract renewals, we decided to terminate the contract, as with each passing year the clauses in the tenant's favour were limited or even brutally removed, while the sections about the rights of the landlord and the letting agency were ridiculously lengthy in comparison.
Nothing they stipulate in their contracts is ever in the tenant's favour and you have to stand multiple ridiculous charges, incompetence (misspelled names at times) and lack of transparency (not providing proof of payments) at the cost of your own money, time and patience.
All in all, I do not recommend them.

Unprofessional, rude, patronising liars!
Never use these estate agents! We went for a viewing where the agents broke the legal contract and entered the house without 24 hours warning whilst the current tenants were out. They put the house on the market without telling the current tenants even though they were already in the process of staying another year. They then took our deposit (without us knowing about the current tenants) and decided to raise the rent by £200 per month. Suspiciously, exactly the same thing happened to the tenants before us.
I've reported them to the Property Ombudsman, Trading standards and Bexley council. Not impressed with this illegal and immoral behaviour from people who claim to be professionals.
EDIT: Ive been asked by coopers to edit this review into an 'accurate account of their service' in exchange for my money back (which wasn't ever legally theirs). But seeing as they have returned my money, I removed the term 'thieving' from this review - everything else is accurate and not a lie.

I have used Coopers Lettings since 2010 to find tenants and manage my flat.
They are always very helpful and knowledgeable with everything.
The tenants they have found have always been excellent. I have never had any problems. The charges are reasonable and completely transparent.
