I cannot thank Chris and the team at Acres enough who are all so friendly and very professional as well as so approachable, I bought my first house recently, they dealt with any queries promptly and within minutes sometimes. I had bad experiences with some other estate agencies initially when I started my search for a house which was so disheartening which put me off contacting them again. Lengthy but honest review (Even 7 stars are less) There are Estate Agents and then there is Acres-Great Barr. When we started looking for our house, we approached various agents trying to get an appointment. Most of them are "busy in themselves" and very hard to get an appointment for any house that you might like. BUT NOT WITH ACRES. A huge shootout to CHRIS DEEKES, Branch Manager. He was quick to arrange appointments for us and helped us throughout the way. To be honest I committed a mistake when I did not go with the lawyers that he suggested and trusted someone that I found online (A company with 4.8 stars on Trustpilot!!). THAT WAS A GRAVE MISTAKE ON MY PART. But Chris came to our rescue every time, time after time. When my lawyers would drive me mad, when the seller said that they do not want to empty the house till Christmas after agreeing on offer, when the documentation was required...list is on and on; I would get in touch with CHRIS and he would most humbly put the things right. He has been a life saver otherwise the way all things went especially with my lawyers, I would have landed up with some mental health issue. The SOLD board on our house is still up and I do not mind for anytime that ACRES want to keep it. I am so very thankful to Chris et al and STRONGLY RECOMMEND ACRES in general and Dear Chris in particular. Unfortunately, I can only give 5 stars which I believe are an injustice to the way that Acres and Chris have helped me. We decided to use Acres for ease as the people we were buying off were using them. I can honestly say it has been an absolute pleasure being looked after by them and I’m so glad we went with them. They handled the sale of our house exceptionally, setting up appointments immediately ensuring we sold in a matter of days. Moving home can be one of the most stressful experiences. Chris has had to manage me in tears on more than one occasion especially the week before moving with problems with our solicitors but I can honestly say he is one of the most hardworking individuals I’ve ever met.
