Every house for sale has no room sizes or detailed descriptions. So fustrating when you are trying to get an idea of potential. I wouldn’t sell through Acres if this is the way they think houses sell.

They also have shown a lot of consideration for me. they have really good knowledge of the market and the economy.they also knew what would affect me. Mark was great in guiding me into a economic choice. Credit were credits due.

We purchased a property last year through Acres and they were a disgrace from start to finish. The initial phone call to arrange viewing was an arrogant affair, I dealt with Liz who talks to you like she is doing you a favour by letting you view the property. If you are lucky to be deemed “good enough” by Liz she will arrange a viewing at her convenience (even though the property was empty). On the day of the viewing the agent was clueless. She was unable to answer any questions regarding the property and couldn’t even find the keys to the back door. We decided to make an offer which was accepted by the vendor and arranged a mutually acceptable completion date through our solicitors. Everything was on track and going smoothly when a week before the agreed exchange date I was called by Liz who began shouting at me and asking why we were not exchanging before the end of the month. She said the seller was very unhappy and gave the impression the whole sale could fall through, which was stressful to say the least. I called my solicitor in a panic to see what the problem was and if the seller was still happy with the dates... they were. Turns out it was Liz who was unhappy because the completion date meant she missed her monthly sales target. So much for having your clients interest at heart. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour. Anyway the sale was completed on the scheduled date so bad experience over, right? Wrong! I was called by Liz who asked me to come to the office to collect the keys to my new home... but I had to come and collect them at a time that suited her. I arrive at the office on time and I’m met with a sour faced Liz who demands to see my photographic ID before she would let me have the keys, even though we have met several times before and she knows exactly who I am. I produce my ID, she plonks down a bag of keys on the desk and that’s it. No congratulations, nothing. She barely managed to muster a goodbye as I left the office. The only person with any credit is Nigel (owner of acres) who I dealt with briefly and was able to give me some good professional advice.

So pleased with the service I have received off Nigel and the team at acres four oaks. put my house up for sale, got a great price and a sale within 2 weeks. The office was very professional and dealt in my best interests, not the buyers, which makes a change from most agents I have found. Seen a coupe of moans off buyers but as i say my estate agent is there to look after me not the buyer and get me the best price. Would use again, and highly recommend. Thanks all

First of all, I was the first to place an offer of the exact price a property was being sold at. It was £360,000, Number 9 Grosvenor close, Four Oaks. After one week a staff member called me to place a second offer. I was in the hospital at the time with my son and due to my accent and the required silence inside of a hospital, he misunderstood me. I called back IMMEDIATELY and put in 369,000 for my second offer instead of the uncertain 363,000 I had said before, but she had confirmed the accidental one as my second offer. I and a friend went to their office to see their manager but instead I was met with rude staff and a lack of interest. The staff member claimed that she had even called the owner and confirmed my 369,000 even though she hadn't. I asked her specifically to show me the recorded call and she said ok but simply avoided showing me.

Eternally grateful to the whole team at Acres. It has been a long a stressful process and they have been there to support and assist every step of the way. They didn't even appear to mind my frequent exasperated phone calls. Lovely team. Would recommend them any day. Couldn't have done it without them and I will miss them! Thank you guys.
