We used Green & Co to complete the sale of our property, and of all the estate agents we spoke to, they were by far the least pushy and the most professional.
They did a fantastic job from start to finish. The team were always contactable by phone or email and very quick to respond to our MANY questions.
Jason completed the initial valuation and was refreshingly realistic about what our expectations should be. Yilmaz did a brilliant job with the photos and handling enquiries, and Nichola was always on hand as legal queries were raised.
We also used Kirsten as our mortgage adviser, and the best way to describe her is “on it.” She tracked rates closely and secured us the best package for our new purchase and life insurance.
The whole team fully deserve a 5-star rating, and I have already recommended them to others.

I have used Greens Estate agents to facilitate the sale of my house and I couldn’t have asked for better service. From the very beginning they have been professional and efficient in the service provided. My house sale has not been particularly straight forward but they have continued to work hard to get my sale moving forward. Nichola has especially been a steadfast emotional support and listening ear through the trials and tribulations. I cannot recommend them enough. After a very poor experience from a different local estate agent we decided to go to Greens.
From the very start Clint gave a great explanation on how they work without the usual sales talk! The ladies in the office were amazing, Nicola, Emma and Dee were a pleasure to talk to and had a real interest in getting things moving. They kept us up to date every step of the way, gave us valuable advice and always strived to get the best viewings.
The whole team work so well together and they all seem to know what stage the process was at even if the person dealing was off for the day. A very well ran office and system of working.

After the passing of our parents, We asked different Estate Agencies to come to sell our beloved family home. Green & Co, came out on top. The man responsible for this was, " Shaz " He himself has moved on, the rest of the team are still there.
The whole process was an arduous one for us and the team at Greens.
A lot of the communications between us and them was done with , " Dee Stratford " She was extremely helpful right up to the exchange of contracts.

They value your customer and wants the best for you as well as the vendor. They literally chased things up for you, when the buying process appears to go slower. What a great team at Green & Company Estate Agents. Anytime I needed an update, there was a person to assist and chase up if required. It did take a considerable time for the lease extension to come through, but all was good in the end. The property sold at the price of the valuation.
A special shout out to Dee and Nicola, for their continued support, even at the stressful times.

My review was based on the Greens group as a whole, as I have tried to contact a number of their offices but not the Great Barr office, I have had no direct dealings with the staff at Great Barr what so ever and this review serves no relevance to them what so ever.
I was mistaken in thinking this review page was for Greens as a whole, and failed to notice Google had taken me to my local offices page, which is indeed Great Barr

At times throughout the legal process there was no update or she may have been awaiting a response from the sellers solicitor. However, she always returned calls and emails even where was no further update or changes. I felt that Green and Co were really invested in getting my property on the market as quickly as possible and once a buyer had been found,it was just a matter of leaving Green and Co to take care of everything for me.

I engaged Green & Company to sell my late mother's house as they sold the house opposite. Shaz came out to value the property and explained the various options I had for selling it. He helped me understand the pros and cons of each and left me to make an informed decision. During this time he was always available on the end of the phone to answer my questions. In the end I chose to sell via Modern Auction. The marketing details they listed on their website were very good. I had about 20 viewings, hosted by various branches of Green & Company, in the space of 7 days before the auction closed. The final price achieved was better than expected. Thank you Shaz and team.

WARNING! only use agencies that have a "no fee no pay policy" as with Green even if you change agencies and sell with another, Green will demand a fee (through a loan shark company). So you could end up paying x2 agency fees. As a result of these sneaky tactics the Financial ombudsman has received a 56% rise in dual fee complaints...Basically read the small print and don't sell with Green!!!

Green & Co (Great Barr), were great from the start and couldn’t fault them. Their communication is excellent. For viewing arrangements I would be contacted by a friendly member of the team, given a brief outline of the person viewing ie first time buyer, already sold etc. Once a day/time is agreed it is confirmed via email. After the viewing (if viewing on Saturday, call is Monday) you are promptly followed up with a telephone call regarding feedback. Absolutely fantastic... and kept up to date every step of the way. I would definitely recommend Green & Co.

Had a viewing arranged on 26th June 2020 at 11:15 am and having arrived on time and waited 10mins knocking on the door with no answer, I called ( at 11:25 which I have the call log for) the office on the number given, asking if and when the agent would arrive to show me the property (this agent was not from the Great Barr branch) she said she will try to find out and call me back, which did not happen. I called again at 11:49am after having been waiting there from 11:15am. This time I did get to speak with someone from the Great Barr branch, after explaining the situation she said she will call the agent that should have been there. After a while she called back saying that the agent was there until 11:25am and left because nobody showed up. What a ABSOLUTE LIE for him to say when he was not even there as I had called the office at that time after having waited outside since 11:15am. If he had been there he would have seen us there waiting but no he would rather lie then be honest about his unprofessional behaviour. As I can't name the Male of Asian origin who wasn't there, working from the Great Barr branch... I hope that they will improve the service as I will not be using there service's to purchase my home....very poor

Worst company to help with your property search!!!
Firstly, I came into the Great Barr branch on the 7th September (Saturday) and the employee working had no idea of any local properties available. It was appalling, it took 10 minutes to pull up what they called a "property match" which actually didn't even meet my criteria and then bombarded me with loads of brochures for properties out of my price region. How can you seriously call that selling a property when you don't even know the stock you have yourself???
Secondly, I spoke with the branch manager regarding this situation. The branch manager was ever so rude and swore twice down the phone which I believe is not very professional! I was absolutely disgusted with the service I was given. I will be telling friends and family who are looking to get on the property ladder to not use green and company.

Absolutely DISGUSTING service! I viewed an apartment which i fell in love with straight away and was ready to put the deposit down on the same day only to be informed I will have to wait until Monday as the person that takes the payment is not in. I was advised that they have noted that i will be prioritised as I am the first one that showed interest. I waited until Monday, only to be informed they have accepted someone else as this person had higher income!!! SERIOUSLY?? not only had they not undertaken any checks to confirm how much myself and my husband earn but they lead me to believe I will be getting this property. I will not be recommending this agency to anyone! They know how to waste their customers time for sure! 1 star for showing me the property!
