A little disappointed with the level of communication. That said at the time of writing we have sold out house and that is the most important thing. The house has been on the market around 4 months so at period of instability in the market critchlows have assisted in selling.

These estate agents have no presence on the high Street. They are difficult to contact and everything seems to be too much trouble. Found them to be generally very unhelpful and inflexible. I'd never use them to sell a property.

I’m not sure how this Estate get so many 5 five start reviews because as a buyer the level of customer service is shocking. I rang the office a number of times over a few days to try to arrange viewings on three different houses they were marketing. I spoke to Lee each time and not once did he ever ring me back. Each time he said I’m waiting for the vendor to come back to me, two weeks since I last called and I’m still waiting for a call or at least the courtesy to come back to a potential buyer with an update. I did manage to view one of their properties after chasing but they also never followed up for feedback or to ask if we would be interested, which is standard practice for many of the much more professional agents I’ve dealt with during my search. Thankfully I found my dream house which was marketed by another agent.
If this is the level of service a potential buyer experiences, I certainly wouldn’t be looking to use to buy or sell any future properties.

One of Critchlows "For Sale Signs" appeared in the entranceway, to the courtyard, of the block of flats, where I live.
It was there for over a week, when I checked Critchlows website and all the other main websites with properties for sale.
Critchlows don't appear to have a property for sale, for at least, a quarter mile radius!?
I telephoned Critchlows office to query this, and the lady I spoke to, practically put the phone down on me!?
It is my belief, that not only are Critchlows In Breach of Civil Law: Leasehold Regulations, regarding display of advertising boards on Leasehold Property, but they are also In Breach of Criminal Law Planning Regulations, which state that any advertising signage, must be positioned within the boundary of a property…not wherever they fancy, to what I presume, is a tatty advertising exercise, desperately trying to drum up some business, in the local area, at other peoples expense!

Ps. your signage contractor has also damaged the turf and the root system of the Portuguese Laurel Hedge.

Would not recommend, they put my property on the market stating it was a 2 bedroom house, failed to make any mention of the third bedroom and then put in the wrong postcode. I'd spoke to Lee NUMEROUS times asking him to amend the details to no avail. I also contacted Martin NUMEROUS times who hasn't bothered to respond. Utter Clowns.

Not sure how this company has such great ratings as they have been so unprofessional with my partner we rang about a property which was perfect for our family to be messed about on 3 occasions (3 weeks)when my partner and his dad viewed this property the agent didn't even turn up so was then shown around by the builder which is very unprofessional and against the law when contacted several times still didn't even come to the house which is shocking as we live in st helens and still got there on the time we had scheduled so we then had to ask the builder questions which to be honest didn't know an awful lot but said they would take housing benefit and so did the agent now we ring twice today and they have no clue about if the landlord takes housing benefit or pets then tonight tells my parneter that he doesn't take housing benefit if the landlord says no its a no I'm absolutely disgusted won't be using this company again

Wow!! Really happy i gave Critchlow Estate Agents a chance. I've used a few estate agents over the years ...I have moved about a lot through job locations but with these guys it was a completely different experience yes they sold my house within a few days and yes they got me over asking price but the service from start to finish is what made the experience. Professional, always called me back, always gave me great advice and made me feel like valued customer and not that i was getting in the way or being a nuisance which is what i have had in the past. I have a family member looking to move and told them not to look elsewhere and at £995 absolute bargain.

Well what can i say after trying 2 of the supposedly market leaders who never answered there phones or returned emails and basically lued constantly,Critchlow estate agents and namely Martin was a breath of fresh air.
Always on hand day or night Martin was down to earth and honest in his opinions, and nothing was to much trouble.He even kept checking on the progress of the sale by keeping in touch with both solicitors.
We were in the throes of moving to France permanently so needed constant feedback which we got in bucket loads.
Photos and 360° videos were up and running in no time and i guarantee you will not find a better price ANYWHERE !.
Sorry for the late review Martin but i have been really busy on our new home here in sunny France.
By the way are you thinking of expanding to Europe ???? you will make a killing ????????

Just sold my house through Critchlow Estate Agents -absolutely fantastic from start to finish, Lee came out to do the valuation was full of information and could really tell he had done his homework - The photos by Sam made the property really stand out and we were sold for over asking price with in 3 days!! Martin the owner was in constant contact making sure we were ok as this was are first time selling a house. Really happy with the service and at £995 half the price the others quoted will never go else where thanks guys. I'm sure the business will go from strength to strength.

This estate agent does everything he can to sell your property, and unlike larger companies, it's never a problem getting to speak to the person that is dealing with the sale from start to finish.... If he misses a call or you leave a message he actually calls you back!

I usually use the high street brands but after a friend recommended these chaps, I gave them a try and I was not disappointed!
5 star service at a fraction of the high street price from the valuation to handing the keys over at the end. Lee was my go to man and always on hand with advice and for me most importantly reassurance. Although I didn't have many dealing with him Mart was a top guy as well! Top Lads!!!

Communication was good thoughout, and as I dont live local either, Martin was happy to hold keys and let trades persons into the property while the refubishment was being finished off.
