Phoebe was excellent. The initial experience before Phoebe was involved was a little tense as D&P got tgd house details wrong, incorrect footprint size and details, which i would have spotted if given final approval as promised before going live.

If you're in the market for a rental property in Derbyshire then Dales & Peaks won't disappoint. Alice, the lettings manager was a pleasure to deal with and very helpful with our tenancy process, no question or ask goes ignored, and her responses were fast and informative making the process as stress free as possible for both us and the Landlord.
On occasions we did speak with other staff members not in the lettings dept. who were equally as helpful and supportive of our circumstantial needs in a property. They are the estate agents who don't forget about you and do call back.

We went with D&P as my daughter had been very pleased with their service. However, we were not impressed. They hooked us in by dropping their fee, but Tom was overconfident in his ability to judge the market which meant that even in a very bouyant market (pre covid) we only had 2 enquiries and 1 viewing in the 1st fortnight. We then dropped the price which Tom was reluctant to do. He had clearly over valued the property and then didn’t advertise it as widely as we understood he would. We were also unhappy with the service from the Head of Sales who seemed to be unable to negotiate with our prospective buyer, even though we had offered a cash incentive for some work which needed doing. When we decided to put the house back on the market D&P did not contact other viewers who had expressed a previous interest in it and it was up to us to track down one couple who did then come for another viewing. D&P told us they were selling another house to a 2nd couple who had expressed an interest, without telling them our house was back on the market. I would not recommend this agent to anyone and while we did think about following their complaints procedure, we discovered that the person in charge of complaints was Tom’s mother (being a family business) so it seemed a futile exercise. We eventually remarketed the house with another local agent, Redbrick who provided an excellent service, always going the extra mile. We dropped the price slightly and sold it to the first people they brought round! Enough said.

I highly recommend this agent. They were extremely efficient in providing updates, often answering questions even before being asked, showing their professionalism and experience.
They have been extremely supportive since the property has been rented. An excellent experience all round.

Dales and Peaks have been totally professional when my tenant left and in advertising the property. As a Landlord, they have ensured that I have been kept informed at all times. The inventory they made was VERY thorough which protects me and the tenant and this is reassuring for both parties.
In all their communication with me they are clear and respectful and they respond quickly to any concern that I have. Quite simply, they are the best.

Really professional, great photos, floor plan and 3d walk through. Excellent service, they even kept in contact with both sides solicitors so I didn't have to do anything to keep up-to-date. Really happy with the service and we got an offer of the asking price the day it went on the market.
