Being a first time buyer (and looking to buy a property in Herne Bay), I was initially completely out of my depth. However after 2 & 1/2 years of viewing homes, I began to get a feel for the buying process. Along the way I've been exposed to many estate agents in Herne Bay, and without a doubt David Clarke Estate Agents are top of my list, initially because the agent who showed me a property was "real," low key/Not pushy, but paying attention: Mr Danny Blagden. And indeed when the flat that I'd shown an interest in was reduced in price, he notified me. I ended up buying this property. And secondly: the next stage of dealing with solicitors became a long and convoluted headache, however, Mr Gareth Jones was a godsend, being of great practical advice. (Even post sale.) He was most pleasant, professional and pro active; especially when an issue needed a solution. Should I sell in the future; One name: David Clarke — 11 out of 10!

Have sold several properties now via David Clarke Estate Agents and I wouldn't use any other agent. An honest valuation of the property is always given with potential buyers immediately viewing the property. When an offer is received you are given a complete breakdown of the buyer's offer along with their circumstances. Once a sale is agreed there is then excellent sales progression. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

My late mother used David Clarks when she sold her property and brought a new one and they did an amazing job back than, for a single mother of two young children, unfortunately when she passed, I had to sell her property and from day dot they have helped and been so helpful, always at the end of the line and it was nice to have a laughing kind voice at the end of the line, I have felt with other estate agents they will say and do anything for your business but not actually help when you need it. I'm so grateful for David and Gareth at Herne bay branch for everything they have done. So thank you! I will definitely continue doing business with them and suggest to my friends and family :)

Theresa is a nice person that helps you find a home as well as she can. communication isn't the best but it's the same with all estate agents. Had problems years ago but i dont hold it against them. I would definetly recommend them if looking for some where haven't dealt with the sales staff yet as just moved to the area but it looks professional and I would be using them when ready to buy.

I had a bad customer service experience. Walked in here a few weeks ago and was ignored by most of the staff who valued their time more than mine. When someone finally deemed to help me they were rude. Maybe they were having a bad day but I expect a much higher level of professionalism from an estate agent than what I experienced.

Its a great advantage that you still get to deal with Paul Clarke - a number of the larger agents do not have the owners go anywhere near them on a day to day basis. A totally professional but very friendly service was provided by everyone we dealt with. We had a slightly complicated sale (selling a property in Herne Bay though we live in Maidstone) but everyone at the office went out of their way to simplify things for us, accompanying all viewings, giving immediate feedback and - where necessary - breaking bad news in a sympathetic way. I couldn’t recommend David Clarke’s enough. They have recently dealt with the sale of my previous house and purchase of a new one. They are a genuine local business with staff that all care about their customers. No matter who I spoke to they always went over and above, even negotiating the sale of my house out of business hours. They also done all accompanied viewings which meant we didn’t have to make sure we were in. Overall, a great experience and I will definitely use them again if we ever move!
