I have been dealing with David Clark estate agents for a number of years with the purchase of buy to let and the subsequent lettings of the property's , and i can honestly say that in the last 8 years i have not had any unsuitable tenants recommended to me.
There is always someone on hand to deal with any queries with a quick response and feed back . Excellent service.
I had a bad customer service experience. Walked in here a few weeks ago and was ignored by most of the staff who valued their time more than mine. When someone finally deemed to help me they were rude. Maybe they were having a bad day but I expect a much higher level of professionalism from an estate agent than what I experienced.

I wanted to wait a while to let the dust settle on our experience with kimbers for two reasons, firstly I wanted to see if Kristy wood email me personally to say she was sorry for the way things turned out, an secondly because I was so disalosioned with them an the service we ended up with I didn't want to make accusations that we're unfounded. We put our grand parents property on with kimbers solely last November an excepted an offer in December from a man that has been allowed to view the property twice but it turns out this man was a known property offerer who wasn't of sound mind. Then In march we excepted another offer which we were told was solid an that the paperwork was all fine and money was avalible. For 3 months our potential buyer was desperately trying to raise the funds yet kimbers told us nothing other than it was fine until 3 weeks ago when phrases like......there floghig a dead horse an it smells a bit iffy we're banded around with regard to there funds being in place . To cut a very long an sad story short use kimbers at your own risk shake hands with Kristy face to face but don't expect a phone call from the boss IF the milk turns sour.
My family and I have used Wilbee & Son for many years through two generations, and Chris Mears has helped me to find a suitable property on more than one occasion. They are always very friendly and helpful and I will always be happy to recommend them.
Worst agency we have ever dealt with. We initially rented through them and everything was ok at first. We then put an offer on a small apartment through them, purely for investment purposes, and their lack of enthusiasm to actually sell the house was unbelievable. We ended up having to chase them for everything. I couldn't face giving them any commission for that and it was all taking so long we just pulled out. They could have easily sold the property to us if they were more proactive.
THEN the contract on the house we were renting through them was terminated and their true colours came through. We had always had a good relationship with the landlord so I don't know how willby and sons could have turned the situation so sour. They are charging us for ridiculous items and can't currently provide any evidence. They also lied to us by saying they will remove some items we left behind (not junk) because they will get charity to pick it up for free and then they charged us. We obviously don't get any response out of them to address our matters. We have currently taken it up with OFT. Will update when things progress.
A wonderful experience again with wards Herne Bay, the 2nd time I've bought and sold through Graham in 3 years. They managed to get more than we expected via an Open House, but I know there were buyers disappointed they missed out. Looking at a couple of the other reviews I guess that is what happened there. I have never questioned their advice or ethics. Every offer we had was related both on the phone and via email. Ultimately it was my choice who I sold to, and I was keen to meet my buyers....maybe the reviewer before mine met their seller??
My sister is currently looking with Wards too but Tankerton way, they hand delivered brochures to her on Saturday which she loved...

Awful branch to deal with, we feel lied to constantly. They do not communicate and make promises they don't keep. I have asked twice for their complaints procedure and ignored both times. Looks like the Ombudsman will have to get involved instead.
I am so glad we never used these guys to sell our house if this is how they treat people! DO NOT USE !
