Training here is spectacular, I really do understand why D&G are so well known for their well trained experts from the office managers, to the negotiators and right up to the managers; who know their area of this industry inside out, It is genuinely mesmerising.

Since joining D&G back in July, I have been fully engrossed in everything D&G. Firstly, being welcomed by the whole company from the get go, that the transition as a new joiner to a fully integrated team member felt smooth and far from overwhelming.
The training is second to none. Everyone is extremely supportive and encouraging of your own personal success. The week of training really highlights how invested D&G are in your growth within the company and making sure you are fully equipped for your role.
Without sounding too biased, I couldn’t rave enough about D&G and their culture. They truly care about you and your welfare. And to top it all off, the social aspects of the company are truly what sell this this company. For anyone considering a career in property, look no further than D&G, you won’t regret it.

Joining the team at D&G has been amazing! Everyone is super friendly. When I came for my interview everyone made me feel at ease especially Ellie (who is head of recruitment). I've only been here a week and I absolutely love it and I've been made to feel so welcome. In addition to this, I was completely new to the industry so the Induction Training they did was fantastic. It's extremely informative and good fun! I'm so happy to be a part of the D&G family!

The recruitment process I went through at Douglas& Gordon was incredibly seamless, especially at such a time as the pandemic.
The whole process from recruitment all the way through the week of training was informative and to the point with all the bases of the industry being covered.
Training was run and implemented by those who not only had decades of experience but those who had served the brand for years, giving us a five star introduction to the business and what to expect when we finally move to the front offices.
Overall, having worked in the industry before for one of the big firms, D&G, truly stands out from my past experiences!

Such an inviting office and company, I felt really at ease at a relatively nerve wracking time. Everyone I spoke to was so kind and interested in what I had to say. The training is incredible, I never felt like I didn't know what I was doing, even though all training was over zoom! I have recently had the absolute pleasure of being selected to go through the Douglas & Gordon's recruitment process for the role of Office Manager. For starters, Ellie Collins, Oliva Buchanan and Annabel Locke were such a credit to D&G and I have been so overwhelmed by their support throughout my recruitment journey and their process and communication has been absolutely faultless. Such a great company who really do live and breathe their values and it really has been lovely to meet them all. Unfortunately, this role wasn't 100% right for me this time around but I look forward to maintaining connections and seeing what the future holds. The recruitment evening was amazing and so well run and a fantastic way to get a sense of the culture first hand and meet all the great people who work at D&G. The interview process was informal and easy going and a great way to get to know more about the company and for them to get to know you as an individual too. Douglas & Gordon's in house training is amazing! and so professional. I came into the business knowing absolutely nothing about real estate and was nervous starting my position not know how the company work. Douglas & Gordon have a 3 day intense training schedule to help to transition into your role easier, not only do they have this but also constant weekly training for your first month and continued training for your first three months and so on as needed. Douglas & Gordon are a great company to work for as they make you feel like family as soon as you walk through the door!

My husband and I have rented with D&G Fulham for 4 years now, over 2 different tenancies and they have been nothing but helpful every step of the way. In particular, Poppy Thompson really took the time to listen to us about what we did (and didn't!) want in a property, finding us a great flat we love! William Hodge has also been perfect in managing the property, ensuring timely repairs and maintenance of the property and usually within 24-48 hours. Definitely a high quality agency to work with to help with your letting needs :)

Douglas & Gordon have provided a 5-star service! Used to Let our flat they provided excellent advice from start to finish during the refurbishment of our property prior to Letting. On completion of refurbishment of the property Douglas & Gordon sourced a tenant within a matter of days, carried out thorough background checks, arrange the inventory etc. It was a smooth and professional process. Their third-party partners at London Stock (photography, EPC, inventory) were equally as professional and helpful. It has been a pleasure to with the team in New Kings Road. We would use Douglas & Gordon again without any hesitation.

Very disappointment to let, After providing all the details of our family booked an appointment to view a property in Putney Heath. Placed and offer to take the property, had a call from them after 2 days and the agent from Richmond branch said the landlord doesn't want to let the property to us because we have children. Basically they should have advertised no families and the estate agent did ask all our details before booking an appointment. Very misleading and unprofessional. The night before we received he rejection for some reason the put up the rent from £2250 monthly to £2400 strange, and very disappointed as we lost on other 2 properties we wanted as our time was wasted for no replying to our offer in quick time and manner. I think the landlord is discriminated against the children and they estate agents are misleading, I have reported them to trading standards.

Great customer service and impressively speedy! We rent a 2 bedroom property in SW London, managed by Douglas & Gordon and haven’t got one complaint. Our property is managed by senior property manager Emily who is always easy to contact and quick to solve any issues. I’ve rented several properties, and landlords often try to shirk responsibility with bigger issues - but whenever anything has gone wrong (new boiler, new carpets), Emily and the D&G team have always been understanding and quick to help. Our washing machine broke and we had a new one before I’d even got home from work! They make renting easy and care free.

I have worked with Douglas & Gordon for over 5 years now. We work with many other agents. I find D&G the most efficient and friendly to work with. Very rarely do we have to chase payments as you do with other agents. Their internal systems are very slick, meaning there is nothing lost in translation and jobs are executed smoothly both ends, keeping all involved happy.

As an external trainer for Douglas and Gordon we need to be in close liaison with the head office to ascertain dates, numbers and names of delegates as well as training topics. Whether we are dealing with the Head Office via email, telephone or in person everyone concerned is unfailingly helpful, professional and friendly – with special mention to Emily Akers. The office atmosphere has none of the ‘cool distance’ that is sometimes associated with a head office - everyone is approachable, welcoming and friendly.
On the actual training days everything is excellently organised from the greeting and the room preparation to the catering.
It is a real pleasure to work with them.

Both Enna-Mae who led the process through to the end, and Claire who also did some early viewings, were both extremely warm, friendly and always happy to help, advise and get stuck in! From the outset they arranged more viewings from serious buyers than any of the other agents (we had been with both an online and a local agency), and I know talking to another couple in the area that they had done the same for them. We always felt like we were in extremely safe hands throughout: hugely supported and kept up to date in a timely manner.
