Our experience with Ben Reddan and the Letting team was excellent<br>Our experience with the sales team, not so.<br><br>Gabriella from Lettings was exemplary in her meticulousness regarding the letting of our property from start to finish.<br>Her communication was excellent and her dedication to her job is to be admired. Ensum Brown, and in particular, Gabriella, have been simply outstanding.<br><br>From arrangement of the first viewing, meeting Gabriella and viewing the property, through to arranging the tenancy, all the queries that came up in the interim and then moving day and beyond, the level of service has been exceptional.<br><br>Gabriella has always responded fully and clearly to all our questions (in a very timely fashion) and has supported us with each step of the process. Now that we’re moved in and had something further to query, once again the responsiveness and support have been great.<br><br>I have rented homes in a number of countries and had to deal with a good number of agents over the years. I was generally happy with the advertising and viewing process, most feedback was via text or the app, staff friendly, negatively though was my sale was a probate sale and once sale completed and the emotional state I gave fuel meter readings to Mitchell, head wasn't clearly thinking so asked if they could get meter readings for me to get final bills to settle probate accounts and after 2 weeks nothing, disappointing that same day or next day they couldn't ask for meter readings or supply me with the readings I left with Mitchell, will delay settlement of accounts by about 1 month, seems once completed no longer care about clients

Sold our shared ownership property through Ensum Brown earlier this year and Fiona Payne was outstanding throughout. Communication was constant, honest and always proactive, she kept me in the loop even when I was managing everything from abroad, which made a huge difference.<br><br>The transaction had its fair share of challenges towards the end and Fiona was relentless in chasing things down and keeping everyone on track. Without her pushing and progressing things from her side I genuinely don't think we'd have completed when we did. My wife and I instructed Ensum Brown to market our house around August last year. Nick came to value our house. He came across as very knowledgable and professional. We had a number of viewings in quick succession, which were all arranged giving consideration to our busy lives. I was impressed by their feedback process and communication. Most of the time, we would have initial feedback within 30 minutes of the viewing then more detailed feedback a few days later. This was all managed on the street app. Unfortunately, the market tailed off a bit, so things slowed down on the viewing front. Knowing we were looking to reserve a property, that would be contingent on our sale, Lisa gave special attention to marketing our property. I had weekly updates and felt safe in the knowledge they were doing everything possible to generate viewings. We eventually reduced the price to reflect the changed market, which soon led to some offers, one of which we accepted. After offer acceptance we were looked after by Sarah in sales progressions. Sarah was fantastic at communicating with us, the buyers and solicitors. We had a completion date in mind and I feel we wouldn’t have got there if it weren’t for Sarah’s tenacity! Overall a great experience and I would thoroughly recommend Ensum Brown in Royston.

The Letting Consultant was able to answer all queries, and if an answer was not known at time of asking, the answer was provided, where possible by the end of the day. The Lettings Manager has also been excellent, able to address my fears over payments, and answering any or all questions I had, very quickly. The process was quite long for us, but we are glad with stuck with Ensum Brown and we finally moved at the beginning of September. We found the Street app really good, as we could confirm all viewings via here, rather than waiting for phone calls. But also the app gave a small insight about the people viewing, and their status too (for example first time buyers, need a mortgage, cash buyers etc) which helped us a lot.<br><br>We don't know how Fiona P manages to juggle everyone! but she really helped us through the process, and being a friendly voice we needed during the more difficult times. We were really pleased with the service Fiona gave us, but also after we had moved to check in we had settled in ok to our new home

Nick Grundy gave us the help we needed to promote our family home and Ensum Brown’s marketing of the property far outweighed our previous agent. Once sold Sarah Leach was excellent in the sales progression team. Sarah was very friendly, helpful and efficient. I’m very disappointed with Ensum brown, I had heard good things about them, but this wasn’t the case for us.<br>(1) communication was awful, no WhatsApp group set up as promised.<br>(2) they didn’t let us know when they had left our property, we had dogs and a baby to get back, especially when it was hot outside.<br>(3) they sent agents round our house that had never stepped foot into our property, how can you sell a house if you’ve never seen it inside.<br>(4) late to a viewing, we had to let a prospective buyer in and try to make conversation whilst our very reactive dog was going crazy in our vehicle. Agent was 10 minutes late and didn’t know our house, not very professional.<br>(5) never answer their phone, extremely difficult to get hold of an agent, sometimes waiting hours for a call back.<br>(6) booked a back to back viewing, rang them and left a message to confirm both appointments, eventually called back to say didn’t know anything about a second viewing, asked them to speak to agent to clarify and call back as the viewing was in the next hour and we heard nothing, again not professional.<br>After complaining via email to the owner we were contacted and offered a no fee sale as our experience was so bad, why if they can’t do things professionally for a fee of 11K would it be any better for no fee, we have decided to go with another agent as we have lost all confidence with Ensum brown. In my opinion I think they are taking on too many properties and are losing the valuable personal touch experience.

Fabulous communication - all staff were aware that the property was my deceased mothers home so I didn’t need to remind anyone of the situation. Gave feedback from viewings on the phone as well as through the digital platform they use.

I had recommended Ensum Brown to my Grandparent to sell their property. I had a call with Ensum Brown to organise an appointment with them for valuation. An hour before due to come for valuation, I get a call to cancel the appointment due to having a commercial property as well as a four bedroom house. I had told them we want to just sell it as a four bedroom house but still wanted to cancel our appointment. Extremely disappointed.
