28th Mar 2024 (17 weeks ago)Matthew Stacy was the seller's agent in my recent purchase. Matthew's client is quite dis-organised (e.g. misplacing the keys for the flat on sale), but Matthew dealt with this with a sense of humor, eventually recovering the keys. During the transaction stage, for a while, my solicitor was acting quite slowly. I was able to get hold of lender's inquiries, and saw that one of the items was an electricity certificate. I figured that rather than waiting for my solicitor to talk to the seller's solicitor, I should just ask Matthew. He got the certificate for me the next day, and my solicitor was shocked when receiving it from me. The valuation turned out to be lower than my offer price, which meant that the bank would loan me less money. I was really out of cash by that time. and wanted a price reduction so that the sale would go through. Matthew was able to negotiate with the seller, and I got the price reduction I asked. Overall, a positive experience... Except that Matthew's task is not over even though the sale has completed - a fob is missing - and hopefully, Matthew will help getting it for me!

Despite a few bumps along the way, Westley consistently went above and beyond to help me resolve any issues. He was always just a phone call away, even outside of regular hours. These guys are fantastic, and I highly recommend them for buying or selling your home. You won't be disappointed. Thanks for all your help, chaps!

24th Jul 2024 (3 days ago)Valuation was spot on with the final sale price. They worked with the buyer to bring them up to this, compared to first offer. Could have been more proactive in driving the completion, once offer had been accepted and searches completed on both sides. We had to push a little on this, but they managed the process well, when nudged.

24th Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)My partner and I purchased our first home with Sharman Quinney and we couldn't have asked for a better service. The whole process was so much quicker and easier than we expected, and we felt the team really cared about us. Baylee Bishop showed us the house, and was incredibly friendly and helpful right from the start and all the way through. She helped us get answers to all our questions promptly and was very efficient. She also seemed super excited for us, which really made the process enjoyable (not what you often hear from scary house buying stories!). Baylee frequently kept in touch with updates, even just checking in sometimes, which made us feel really reassured and that we had someone available at all times. We also used Jonathan Threadgold as our mortgage consultant. From our first meeting, he was informative, friendly and helpful. We asked many many questions, and he never made us feel like they were stupid ones (when some most likely were!). I had had other meetings with other mortgage advisors and after our meeting with Jonathan, there was no question we wanted to go through him. They referred us to Juno property lawyers, and to keep things simple and easy we used them - again, we couldn't have been happier with the service we received. Everyone in the Cambourne office was lovely, even if we weren't working directly with them. We would 100% recommend Sharmon Quinney Cambourne for buying a property, and if/when we come to sell in the future they will be our first point of call!

6th Jul 2024 (21 days ago)Having been let down by one of the competitors, I was wary of all agents but Aaron was extremely helpful and gave me new hope that I would sell! I I had to move back to Wales before the sale and Aaron was great at popping around to check on things the buyer wanted to know. Extremely helpful and a great communicator who kept me in touch at all stages and gave me great advice (even on my purchase property which was nothing g to do with Connells). Fantastic service and support from Aaron in particular but the whole team were great. Would strongly recommend!

Hannah made moving in so easy and took away alot of our stresses. Cannot thankyou enough.. a lovely home for the kids and I!!
18th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

The sales literature was excellent - particularly the photography - and quickly attracted several genuine enquiries. Our main contact, David, recommended a Property Solicitor who was also excellent, and kept us up to date throughout the whole process. I have no hesitation in strongly recommending this company!
