At first impression, William H. Brown and their agents come across professional, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we encountered issues which somewhat contradicted this impression.
Before explaining the above, it is worth noting that their After Sales Manager was eventually really helpful, patient, and assisted in driving the sale forward.
We were seeking to sell our home quickly and passed this requirement onto our agent. Upon placing the house on the market, we received viewings very quickly. The first viewing put in an offer, which we were hesitant to accept, as it was on the condition of taking the house off the market. The agent pushed us to do so, repeatedly. It is important to note it was our decision to accept the offer and our mistake, but it was not helped in the slightest by the agent. The chain ended up being very long (5 and then 6 long) which made the whole process near 6 months. There was very little proactiveness to engage the other agents/solicitors at first, even though I suggested they create a WhatsApp or Email group so all could be kept up to date or encouraged to progress.
I also requested the name of the solicitor we previously used, William H. Brown sold our house previously. Instead of providing this, he instead provided a solicitor linked with the parent company, without even informing us.
Although I received a few good tips, I did not engage their mortgage services, as it seemed I would be charged for something a mortgage advisor at our bank provided anyways, as part of the process.
Overall, I would not recommend William H. Brown, mainly due to the Estate Agent's approach.

Having previously worked in an estate agents,I always recall how our clients used to say negative things about William H Brown - in fact, I can’t recall anyone saying anything positive about them.
Being a salesman I am always willing to give people a try and making my own assessment. It seems all these people were correct though. Abysmal service from this office in regards to my enquiry. Even if they weren’t able to assist me, a quick call or email would have been nice after promises of return calls.

Would highly recommend. Tony and Emma looked after the sale of my 91 year old mother's property extremely well taking care of viewings etc. They marketed it well and an offer over the asking price was made within a week. Their communication was good and regular; just a shame solicitors don't work in the same way!

WH Brown Royston dealt with the sale of our house (due to a divorce situation) in a very professional and efficient way.
Having asked various other agencies to provide us with a valuation on the property, it was clear that the other agencies wanted to market our house at a low price in order to sell instantly. Gladly we selected WH Brown who valued the house higher than the rest of the agencies and actually achieved a fair price (and above the valuation of the other agencies.)

Fantastic experience. As a first time buyer I basically know nothing about the procedures of purchasing a new home. The team is helpful and explains every steps clearly to me. Whenever I have enquires via calls or emails, they are very responsive and supportive.
