We had had a bad experience with another estate agent, which put us behind and created a lot of unnecessary stress. Thomas was extremely professional, knowledgeable and had a very personal and caring approach. We sold in a matter of weeks. Thomas referred us to mortgage adviser and solicitors, who all did a fantastic job. Everything was handled professionally and we couldn't be happier with the service we received.

The letting agent is very confrontational, but only by email. They remove large proportions of your deposit for spurious "cleaning" without evidencing such. Their opening hours also appear to be incorrect on their website as I have visited within their advertised opening hours only to find it locked up and gone

What a gem of a man. Thomas has been awesome throughout both the sale of my eldery mum's house and the buying of her flat. He has been patient and understanding with her quibbles and queries and even helped me in the process too. A knowledgeable man who goes above and beyond and nothing is too much trouble. One word...Phenomenal. From start to finish, both selling our flat and guiding us through the purchase of a house, Tom has been just excellent. He was there to guide, support and, crucially, communicate between parties at all hours, never wavering in his energy and commitment to helping his clients. Gill was friendly and professional at all times, dealing with issues as they arose and keeping us up to date with developments. Selling and buying property is, unfortunately, a difficult and frustrating process so having support like this behind you is just priceless.
And in case I have not been clear, I cannot recommend Essex Guild Homes highly enough.

After a 2 year search we found a property we desperately wanted. Near to my grandchildren. Never did i expect it would happen but it did! this is down to Thomas, never have i known an estate agent to work with a buyer with so much communication and politeness and thought and compassion. We were kept updated and most times before the solicitor did. I will only ever be reccommending Essex Guild Homes. Fantastic service start to finish. There really isnt enough thankyou's that i could say that will ever feel enough. Thomas thankyou.

I am posting this on behalf of my mother in-law Andree.
I would like to say how wonderful Thomas and his team were, in my recent sale of my property. This is something I have not undertaken in over 25 years and as widow, was not something I was looking forward to! Thomas made the process much less daunting with his professionalism, even when my original buyer dropped out! He found me another one very quickly to stop me losing my purchase home, so that I can be nearer my daughter, grandson and her husband. There were lots of estate agents vying for my business, I am so glad I gave it to Essex Guild Homes, as they went above and beyond what I expected for the really competitive fee they charged me, thank you Thomas and team!

We met Thomas when we went to view a property. He wasn’t just approachable, he was so well informed in terms of the property, the area and the market. He came with a brochure of the property and quotes on works that we may have wanted to do. He also helped us with selling our flat. He was easy to get hold of, kept us updated constantly - on both, our sale and purchase and was always contactable when we had any questions. He’s just great and I would recommend him to anyone wanted to purchase or sell a property.

I can not recommend Esssx Guild Homes enough. We were searching for a property for quite some and found our dream home from this estate agent, from putting in our offer Thomas made the process as easy as possible. We encountered some issues with solicitors along the way and the process was quite daunting but Thomas took the time to help and explain anything we were unsure about. From collecting the keys to helping us with some issues once moved in you cannot ask for a better service. They went above and beyond! Thank you to Thomas and his team

Outstanding service from Thomas and his team when selling my Dads house.
Great pictures brought in viewers. He went out of his way to help with viewings and accommodated us to deal with my dads health. Kept us up to date daily with progress and returned calls promptly. Great agent would use again. Highly recommend.

After searching for a property for some time, I found one at this estate agents and they made the process so simple. Thomas was so professional and guided me the best way possible, my first buy and there were plenty I didn't know, however he made my 1st purchase feel like it was a walk in the park. This company sold me my property and also rented it out for me, Kelly handled the rental side of it and she was amazing. I would definitely recommend Essex guild homes for purchase or any form of rentals, such lovely team
