Really upsetting. Signed a 12 month contract on a flat where the windows are broken. One even smashed me in the face. There’s poo and urine on the carpet of the flat I’ve let and the boiler didn’t work before I even moved into the property. The agency doesn’t care . ‘Sold as seen’ along with answers like ‘because I can get away with it’ The agency also use service repairers that work for Abbotts. So even if Abbotts are at fault they will still try and charge you for THEIR mistakes. Wish I’d never signed a contract with them. I’ve reported it all to the ombudsman... Read more

I can not make any complaint concerning Abbotts Sales as they managed to work around our own hours of viewing without question. The person who dealt with everything was a Hannah Brown who tried to make everything easier for us with the viewing itself. She was very helpful and we do honestly appreciate all that she done for us. I do recommend this company and especially having Hannah to assist with your purchase of future home. I saw Yvette Green - Mortgage Consultant at Abbots, she was absolutely fantastic at assisting me in the mortgage process and helping me understand things that not every Consultant would especially considering I have had a mortgage before she still drew my attention to every detail that perhaps I had not thought of, adding absolutely no pressure, full honesty and assistance. Peter and Nelle from the Rayleigh letting team have been nothing but helpful and supportive in finding a tenant for my mum's flat in Southend. When the first potential tenant pulled out a week before their move in date, the team managed to find a new tenant for the property, completed the referencing check and sent over a new tenant agreement, all within 48 hours!! I would leave 0 stars if I could. Abbotts was the agent we used when renting my mothers house. Then she sadly passed away and I needed help transferring details.agter threemonths of calls and emails no one answered or helped and I was offered £75 compensation. Avoid at all costs.... Read more
