OK, I think their vetting process, especially for guarantors are way too intrusive. Why did I give 5 stars then? Because everything from there on was pure bliss. Decent rent, highly responsive and super friendly.
Never personally met my landlord or the agent, but I felt like I was dealing with people I've known all my life. I super highly recommend Fairdeal!

Due to COVID a few years ago I was unable to pay my full rent for a while at the time and had to move out as I could no longer afford to stay. They were very kind and let me pay the rent money that I wasn’t able to during that time back slowly, in arrears, over whatever time I needed to. Very thankful thank you very much. Afzal of FairdealProperty was great at communications despite his busy schedule & flexible in his availability to show me properties to rent. He was also great at showing me a wide range of options & shared knowledge of soon-to-be available properties that he intuited that I may prefer. His intuition proved accurate as I chose to rent one of the flats that weren't yet advertised as available.
Fairdeal is a local, fsmily-owned business, so there is more of a personal touch in our interactions. Afzal has made himself personally available if I need anything & has reached out via text to check if I have successfully moved-in.
If you plan to rent in the Aldgate/Whitechapel/Shadwell area, I would highly recommend that you consider contacting Fairdeal.

The Fairdeal Property Services is in no way satisfactory to its tenants. It may be fair in name but certainly not in nature. When problems or issues arise they either turn a blind eye to it or sweep it under the carpet. Their rental fees are extortionate, yet we do not get value for our hard earned money. When repairs need doing people have to wit a very long time for them to be done. Afzal is very rude and has an attitude of contempt towards the tenants. A series of reviews needs to take place so that improvements can take come about.????????????
