I have to say I highly recommend Gibbins Richards. I was not a client but I did purchase through them. They are incredibly professional and outstanding at what they do. Beth Stead in particular needs a cape, a medal and a raise! My sale was protracted and just awful from start to finish. It was nothing to do with Beth yet she stepped in, dealt with everything and got a solicitor who wouldn't talk to anyone (my purchasers solicitor) to talk to her and we finally got everything over the line purely through Beth's hard work. She really does work miracles. So a massive thank you to her!! She is a real credit to Gibbins Richards.

I first put my flat on the market with another company back at the beginning of the year who very quickly let me down and it ended in terminating the contact. This then made me lose faith in estate agents. Following a recommendation, I called Gibbons and Richards and discussed my situation in which they reacted promptly. The following day I had Paul out to value the property and by the end of the day my little flat was on the market! Through the selling stage, I mainly had Sally and Jen perform viewings. The communication regarding feedback from viewings was outstanding. Absolute joke of a company
Had a private viewing on a house this morning to which we arrived in good time so we were not late, however the person who was coming from the office to show us around was 15 minutes late, only had a call from the office after she was 10 minutes late.
RACHEL WILLIAM finally arrived, didnt really apologise for being late, by this time the next person to view the property had arrived for there appointment and she told them we can all go in together.
She bumbled around with the keys not really having a clue what she was doing.
I asked her that we have our allocated 15 minute slot privately and she told me that the more I was talking the more I was eating in to my time to view it.
When I told her that I would be phoning the office regarding her manner she then disappeared leaving us to look around the house making herself unavailable had we had any questions.
By this point we had had enough, even if we liked the house we wouldnt have bought it through the company it was marketed with and she then made a rude remark to the next viewer.

For the second time we have used Gibbins Richards Wellington office to sell our home. Twice they have found a good buyer very quickly, and twice they have been the most competent, contactable and easy-to-deal with party involved in the whole process. When most aspects of our sale seem to be affected by everything taking too long, with many of the ‘supply chain’ – solicitors, mortgage companies and surveyors etc – struggling to cope under the pressure, Claire, Nick and the team have always been a friendly team, and always on the end of the phone and always on the ball. I wouldn’t go anywhere else to sell my house.

totally avoid, i had an offer accepted a year ago and survey done and suddenly realised that the vendors are in divorce battle and thier house should never be launched from the start, and guess what? the agency knows from the begining and never shared this information with us although i've asked thousands of times if there is any trouble with house but kept assuring that everything is just fine and as soon the survey done iwill get the house.Here comes the shocking news the owner is thier friend and want to satisfy him and sell the house without his partner agreement and by let poor people like me spend thier valued money in thier dirty trials .And after all this time they want to repeat the same bloody experience with another people by launching the house again to the market and still the owners battle in the court not solved. They are liars with no heart idont know how they sleep at night

Viewing from Hell
The person showing us around arrived late to a house which she told us she hadn’t been to before, so a very limited knowledge of the property. No apology or explanation offered for being late.
When we viewed upstairs it became apparent that someone who lived in the property hadn’t left for our viewing (going against what we understood to be in place from Gibbins Richards’ COVID policy).
We cut the viewing short and left feeling like we’d had our time wasted, frustration with the person showing us the property and most importantly like we’d been in an unsafe situation.

Gibbins Richards manage two small flats for me. I do not live locally but I am completely confident that they will take care of my properties.The staff I have dealt with are all very friendly and polite on the phone and in emails and raise any concerns with me promptly. They seek my permission, with costings, before instigating any necessary repairs and alert me if there is a problem with a tenant. Even though we are in unprecedented times, they have done everything necessary to enable things to run as smoothly as possible.

Don’t go to them.. they are nice when you go to rent but horrible when you check out. They help the landlord to extract our deposit money. They catch on things like smell of food. Then why do they rent our kitchen as part of the property. I went through TDS and got my money back. Don’t agree to the what ever the amount they say at check out. Find out the details. I had literally beg back for my deposit.. vacated property on October 18th... received the amount for deduction only in November after repeated requests. Horrible experience.
