The service provided by this management agent is totally substandard. Check in and check out reports were factually incorrect. Large areas of damp and dripping plumbing were not noticed during mid term inspections. My new agents are more responsive and have a better marketing website and are proactively managing the maintenance of the property. Do not use these guys. In response to the owners post: This matter was put through internal escalation within Hastings with limited if any response, I never got one return phone call. As to stating I as the landlord should challenge the factual accuracy of check out and inspection reports that is impractical as a remote landlord. I engage a local property management agency to be my eyes and ears on the ground. The damp and dripping plumbing occurred during the period Hastings were meant to be managing the property and as the owner pointed out they were clearly there for some time without reporting. This is all the more reason why Hastings should have identified and managed this to resolution. While the local branch manager is a nice guy all the property management work is done by a separate team.

This wasn't the easiest purchase with long delays from the developer but Lee made sure things kept moving and was very supportive ensuring that eventually we got everything we needed. Completion date occurred after lockdown and both Lee and his colleague Luke couldn't have been more helpful in assisting on the day. Very happy with the service at Hastings and my new apartment.
