Prince Street Studios Apartment was very clean, great location, great price and wasn't noisy even on a Saturday night, The Hopewell team provided great information regarding all the details I needed to know about the key safe, I had no issues at all, would stay here again in the future!

Brilliant time away to hope well. We stayed in the granary, directions were simple and easy to understand. As too was the lock box for the keys to the property! Inside was lovely, after travelling a few hours we entered the property and it was pre heated which was a lovely touch! Inside was suitably clean and very bright. Outside the property was a field which had some alpaca friends who greeted us most mornings. The hot tub was simple to heat up but did take longer than expected, but was lovely when it did eventually heat up completely. The only qualm I would mention is that there wasn’t any seasonings (salt + pepper), oil, sugar, only a few sachets of coffee, dish soap or any cleaning spray so we had to incorporate this into our food budget. As well as this the radiators were very loud at pre heating at 6am which woke us up everyday of our holiday! But apart from these few issues, we did have a lovely time away, my partner was able to work remotely one day as the WiFi and 4G were of good quality, especially for a rural area! Thanks:)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Bristol! Parking was a slight challenge, but the location of the apartment was amazing and we were able to walk to all the places we wanted to visit. We would definitely recommend working with Hopewell. They were amazing!

Avoid this letting agent at all costs if it can be helped. All this agent is concerned about is ripping off students at every corner and lining the landlord’s pockets. They have attempted to charge £500 in cleaning fees despite the flat being left in a better state than when we found it, and correspondence from them has been shocking with little to no communication from them since the dispute which began in July 2024. Students are left with no choice but to accept extortionate charges in order to gain what little they have left of their deposits back, and this is a shameful practice that is all too common among student landlords.

Another lovely stay here for our third trip to Bristol. Prince Street studios is so centrally located and handy to get to everything. The apartment was clean and cozy with everything we needed for a long weekend. It can be a little noisy at night but we had an otherwise perfect stay and will always stay here when we come to the city.

Positives: Very nice apartment with good facilities, great location and super comfy mattress. Had everything you needed and more.
Constructive comments:
Key box could do with a number on it to make identifying the key safe a little easier to save time.
Pillows were not the best quality, causing issues sleeping.
Cleanliness needs improving slightly, dusty apartment in certain areas and bathroom needed some TLC...
Other then that lovely stay & would recommend and stay again.

Absolute disgrace. Cancelled our booking 2 hours before check in, while we were travelling to the accommodation. Would not answer our calls or messages. No explanation - just left high and dry. So incredibly unprofessional. Thankfully AirBnB stepped in and although they couldn’t find an alternative booking at such short notice, they did offer us compensation towards booking a hotel. AirBnB also said that we weren’t the only ones to be stung by the company in recent weeks. Avoid at all costs and save yourself the stress.

Alma Studio Apartment for a 2 week stay had a great location just off the main high street with all its shops and restaurants. Clean, spacious and quiet. Hopewell Team were very quick to respond to queries outside of normal business hours e.g. regarding wifi which was appreciated. Would recommend.

I spent 3 nights there,and was really satisfied with everything. ???? The apartment was clean,well-equipped and comfortable. I also got help with my request. Check-in,check-out was easy. I loved the location. With closed windows I wasn't disturbed by the noise from outside. Bus stop,shops were close. I would recommend this apartman to others even for longer stay.

I rented a studio apartment for 1 month in Bristol while searching for long-term accommodation, as I was relocating with my family. The flat provided by Hopwells short-term letting was very comfortable and cozy. It had everything I needed, including tea, coffee, shampoo, towels—just like staying in an aparthotel, but at a monthly rental rate.
It was a pleasure staying here!

Disappointing experience as a landlord paying for my property to be managed by Hopewell for short and medium term lets.
Dates blocked to guests for prime time slots for no reason (though Hopewell own their own properties nearby for short lets, and receive a larger return if they get booked).
Told items missing from my flat, which were there when I went and checked - asked to pay Hopewell to replace items with a fee.
Radiator valves missing, and radiators turned off prior to guests arriving after ‘Hopewell’ company handyman entered flat for first time. Remained a mystery…
After asking to leave their management services, on last checkout, cleaners broke the lock on the front door. Owner Kim claimed it was a coincidence, they hadn’t broken it and so I would have to pay for the locksmith. Strongly suggest landlords use a different management company for their properties.

My Mum and I had a really lovely stay here. Clean, comfortable, modern and equipped with all appliances - a beautiful little space with an outdoor area. It was my Mum’s first visit to Bristol, so it was in a perfect location, pretty surroundings, only a short walk into Clifton village and all bus routes to the city. Such a lovely gatehouse! Surprisingly spacious, beautifully decorated, and very clean. The bed is huge and very comfy, and the shower water pressure is brill. You’re right next to the road but there’s not a tonne of traffic and you can hardly hear it. Nice little space to park your car. The only thing I was slightly bothered by was that there were quite a few spiders and woodlice around the flat, but that can’t really be helped with the location! A very pleasant stay overall!

Nice room. The shower had to be used handheld as the attachment to hang it up was broken. As it was hot, there was only a small fan that you plug in. Would also have been useful to have an iron in the room. Had a good stay over all.

First booking though Airbnb was cancelled.. by Airbnb because apartments had so many subs standard complaints.
Second booking we arrived at the door to be told it was already booked and they had no accommodation for us!!!

Alma apartments are brilliantly located just off Whiteladies Road in the Redland/Clifton area of Bristol. Small, studio apartment, well equipped and recently renovated. Booking, check in, access etc. all straightforward. We use them when overnighting in Bristol to visit our daughter at Uni. Generally satisfied customers, just 2 small suggestions for improvement...
1) The TV only works via the Internet, (no terrestrial aerial) so it's essential that you know your log ins and passwords for any TV apps you use.We weren't able to access anything, maybe because the remote wasn't working properly, maybe because we were on the top floor in apt 7, and the wi fi coverage wasn't great, via a signal repeater/booster.
2) Despite the nice refit of the apartment, it appears they skimped a bit on the mattress. Not the most comfy, and marked "roll together" into the valley in the middle. We're not big people!
Small complaints in the grand scheme of things, and overall, I'd recommend.

Lovely accommodation in a lovely part of the country. Its exactly as described in AirBnB and with eh double glazing windows is quiet (the property runs alongside the access road to Clevedon Golf Course - and with windows closed you do not hear cars going by for their early Tee time!). I'd visit again.

Exceptionally well presented Airbnb apartment, beautiful white linen and towels, all amenities as described in their listing. This central location in Clifton was idea for me attending a week long training course at Engineers House, a short 8 minute walk away alongside enjoying the beautiful village of Clifton, it's lovely bars and restaurants.
I would highly recommend this Airbnb to a solo or couple wanting to explore Clifton or Bristol.

A fantastically comfortable bed with crisp, clean white bed sheets and duvet. I had the best night sleep for weeks. It can be a little noisy but not that bad. I literally used the room for a place to sleep overnight so didn’t test all the kitchen features. It was perfect for what I needed last night. Thank you.

Lovely apartment, clean and stylish. A great location to explore Bristol. Beds were comfortable and the bed linen of excellent quality.
Had breakfast at great cafe round the corner - In Via Lactea - highly recommended.
We are active pensioners and we managed the steps/stairs however for the less mobile it isn’t a suitable option. The description does mention steps but I think it needs to be made clearer with a statement about not being suitable for anyone with mobility difficulties. Would also have appreciated some guidance on where we could be dropped off from the station - our cab drove round the back eventually and we ended up going through the pub to get to the apartment!
Nevertheless had a great time in a lovely apartment.

An amazing stay with our festival just a half hour walk away and everything needed in walking distance. The flat was homely and comfortable with all of our needs and extra amenities. For the price and the experience I will definitely be coming back!

Place was easy to find. Nice part of Bristol. Two bars literally right opposite but couldn’t hear any noise from them. Place was clean. Was nice and chilled just what we needed. Hot tub is a bonus and the garden area has been done beautifully. Bathroom was nicely done and clean. Would use again and recommend to friends visiting Bristol.
Only downside we couldn’t find the recycling boxes to do the bins. Not the end of the world I guess.

This is a lovely basement flat, as described, very tastefully furnished. The shower is good, and it's perfect flat for an overnight stay. There's a couple of things that Hopewell could do to make it perfect, like making sure they put some non-slip backing on the back of the rugs in the bedroom as I slipped on one and hurt myself, and making sure the cleaners dust properly but these are minor things and are very easily remedied. I'd happily stay there again.

Place was in a fantastic area. Right in the center of Bristol with easy access to shops and any amenities you need. However the apartment isn't in the best state, TV didn't work and the table leg was broken. Otherwise everything else was fine, none of this bothered us much since we were out and about most of the time. This is a good place to crash if your touring Bristol or enjoying the night life.

En general pasamos muy buen estancia, el estudio era muy bonito y acogedor, calefacción regulable y una ubicación inmejorable. El personal fue en todo momento muy atento y amable me sentí muy confiada y tranquila por esa parte. Solo echamos en falta una cafetera en la cocina y que olvidaron quitar el polvo de la persiana, esta era muy grande y como tenemos un poco de alergia lo notamos, pero son detalles fácilmente mejorables y que no quita que recomendemos el alojamiento, buena calidad precio, muchas gracias!!

Sladacre was such a lovely cottage, ideal for a Coombe Lodge wedding. It was very clean with all amenities as needed, with a beautiful suntrap courtyard in the afternoon. Being very rural, the signal here was pretty non existent. The Internet and WiFi struggled so prepare to go unplugged for your stay!

Lovely studio flat with everything you need for a short break. Well located and comfortable. The TV works off Internet only which is a bit of a pain if you just want to watch the news. Cleanliness is adequate, 8/10 but it would be nice if there weren't loads of dust bunnies under the bed (I dropped my ring and it rolled under the bed), or if the bathroom sink plug didn't have toothpaste marks on it, or the fridge didn't have old milk splashes. All fairly minor but indicating a lack of care when they charge £30 for cleaning.

Very convenient spot with just a short walk to the Harbourside.
Apartment newly refurbished so felt very clean.
Beds very comfortable and there’s plenty of space in living room/kitchen.
Only downside is the lack of proper shop around.
So if you need shopping you need to venture to the city center.
Definitely recommend the place.

Bad service, I rented a flat for a week in 85 Alma road. I arrived and the toilets was dirty, the shower had hair. Disgusting. I asked them to clean it, and it has been two days and no cleaning but they want more pictures!! So disgusting. I was planning to stay weekly for the following months but I cancelled all as it is disgusting to arrive to a place and find the bathroom dirty and poorly cleaned.

The place we rented had more than enough room for the 4 of us the instructions to get into the place were easy to follow, beds were very comfy, the location was great, and it was spotless in there too, only a short 15min walk to the city centre and plenty of taxis around if the weather was too poor to walk, highly recommend using Hopewell it's an easy 5 stars from us

This apartment is really beautiful. The kitchen has a cooker, fridge, freezer.washing machine, microwave, bin, kitchen table with 2 chairs. Lounge has a sofa and armchair, T.V and dining table. Very comfortable beds, I large king size in the one and king in the other. It could be slightly better equipped with a few more utensils in kitchen, but I'm being a little picky.The only thing that was frustrating, was the key safe was quite temperamental. It was difficult to get the key out and to put back in upon vacating the property . The position of key safe could potentially be re thought too, but can see why it is where it is.. Overall a lovely place- very noisy ( as lots of scaffolding around and workmen upon arriving that one day)
But, I'm being picky slightly, you stay on a busy street, that is city living to a degree! The only other thing would be to please consider your guests privacy, a blind or curtains on landing window be a must for me personally...and potentially in kitchen window. Think these things would add to helping feel more cosy and homely. I was staying alone though, so may have just been that. A beautiful place tho, if it was ever on the market and I could afford it, I'd consider living there ????

They are quick to respond to my queries and to date have been able to resolve all of the issues I raised. One of property managers, Harry, deserves a special distinction here. I found communicating with him to be a delight. He is both professional and helpful, while at the same creating light-hearted atmosphere that makes dealing with even stressful events much easier.

Lovely room, good facilities. Only comment I would make is that it would be nice to have some salt and pepper (even sachets) in cupboard to use as if you’re cooking you don’t want to buy just for one meal. Also as with every room the plugs for the hairdryer are nowhere near the mirror. Had to plug in by the cooker and stretch into the bathroom.

My friend and I rented a room with Hopewell for three months. Martina was quick to support us when we asked for help. Whether it was a broken washing machine or a broken water pipe, she responded to us in a timely manner. The rooms are like the pictures shown on the website and clean. The housekeeper who came to clean the house did a good job of cleaning. If I come back to Bristol, I will definitely come back to use services with Hopewell again. Thank you for the great service and organization. Kudos to Martina and her team that involve!!

Absolutely no stars for Hopewell Estate Agents. The flat which I rented through them was a nightmare.
Arrived at night, so stuck with no other place to go that night. The flat? A total mess. No heating or hot water and zero privacy.
Let's talk dirty. The kitchen was a disaster - mouldy dishes everywhere, even in the dishwasher. Cups and glasses in the cupboard weren't clean, and there was gunk in the cutlery drawers. The bedroom wasn't any better - stained carpet, human hair on the window sill, and a cushion that looked like it had blood on it.
The heating was supposed to come from a pellet boiler, but guess what? Broken. So, cold showers it was, in a bathroom with black mould around the bath. And privacy? The blinds in the bedroom were busted. Had to hang a sheet for some semblance of privacy.
Told Hopewell about all this mess right away, even sent pictures. Next morning, they offer me £35 for cleaning and say they'll send someone on day 3. By then, I was already planning to leave by 9:30 the next morning.
They shouldn't be renting out a place that's clearly not ready. And their response? Utterly disappointing.
Paid £517 for 4 nights. Thank goodness Airbnb stepped in – got a full refund from them.
Never written a 1 star review before, but had to this time. Just so no one else goes through this.

Used this company a few months back but never got around to reviewing. The customer service here was extremely disappointing. They were not only rude but also confrontational, talking over me and accusing me of being dishonest.
Their astonishment was palpable when I responded with the same attitude. Gaining access to our Airbnb was a nightmare - it took multiple calls to several staff members, and we were met with accusations, denial of entry, and a promise for a callback that never happened. When we finally entered the premises, we were greeted by a bed throw with disturbing blood stains, a malfunctioning shower with a fixed temperature, a thick layer of dust everywhere, and a dirty floor.
My advice? Choose literally any other company.

Edit: Response from business states that someone has reached out directly. This is simply not true. They have my email and phone number but have not bothered to contact me.
Awful customer service. Happy to be incredibly rude, talk over you and accuse you of lies.
Then seem outraged and shocked when you return the attitude in kind. We struggled to access our short term let. We called 3 times and spoke to 3 different people trying to gain access. After being accused of lies, denied access and promised a call back that never came we finally gained access. We have filed a complaint but seemingly been ignored. Once we gained access we discovered horrendous blood stains on the bed throw, A shower that was damaged so the temperature could not be changed, layers of dust and a filthy floor.
Do yourself a favour and stay literally anywhere else.

Lovely apartment, super spacious and check in was easy and stress free. My only issue was the lack of a deep clean since my sister and I suffer with dust allergies/asthma and the beds seemed dusty as well as the curtains and other soft furnishings. The place was well presented but I’m not sure it was dusted and bedding refreshed before our arrival, it seemed like nobody had stayed for a while and the bedding should still be changed even if nobody has stayed before us, because dust can accumulate if the place is not lived in ect this was obviously an issue for us and we were both coughing and wheezing when we went into the bedrooms as well as trying to sleep at night. We had a lovely stay regardless and would come back again if the place was properly refreshed before our arrival, as some people are very sensitive and it can trigger breathing issues. Overall lovely but I give 4 stars xxx

We did a long stay in the Property on Kingsdown Parade, it is a fantastic apartment with a 5 minute walk to fantastic Coffee shops and restaurants and loads of great Vintage stores, a 5 min bus/taxi ride will get you into the city. Hopewell were fantastic and really responsive to any questions we had. The apartment had great comfy beds and sofa and great kitchen. We are already planning our next stay here.

Lovely accommodation near to town and canals. It would have been useful having some instructions on how to use heating and appliances etc. We also couldn’t find anything to wipe down the bench and stove top. It also wasn’t clear where we should park.

Superb property in a stunning location! My partner and I spent a few days at Cedar Lodge, Hopewell. The lodge itself was stunning, very modern but had that country feel to it which was exactly what we were after. The kitchen, lounge, bathroom, and bedroom are all very spacious and fully loaded. The bathroom is modern, and the shower has good water pressure. The kitchen is perfect, it even had a Nespresso coffee machine with milk frother. The lounge has a large comfortable sofa and good size tv for those lazy chill evenings with all the TV channels (Netflix etc). The bedroom looks the part with lots of space. The outdoor space is beautiful, and the hot tub is a great addition which was set up and ready to go for our arrival. There was also a firepit set up ready for us.
The purpose of our visit was to get away from London, explore the local area whilst working from home. The property has very good internet connection and seating area to facilitate this.
Next to the property is a Manor and spa. We took a walk around the estate which was beautiful. It has a restaurant, and something for the kids (farm animals) if you have a family (we don’t have a family and absolutely enjoyed watching all the farm animals). There are several small villages around the local area which are worth exploring. We tried a number of local pubs and cafes which didn’t disappoint at all, the Swan Inn pub was cosey and the Wolfridge Alpaca Café was great for breakfast and watching Alpacas in the fields. Both Bath and Bristol are short drives away and easily accessable from the property.
Lastly, the management team and owners couldn’t do enough for us. Very professional, very attentive, and lovely people who were always happy to help and provide good local advice for places to visit (a visitor’s guide is also provided in the property making recommendations), so a huge thank you to them. The property delivered on what we wanted and more. I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a nice get away to the country.

Thought provoking and conversation inspiring art and photography on the walls.
Modern use of technology with lighting and heating but simple switches as well. Clean spacious and well presented. All the usual facilities. Really comfortable beds. Great location for going out and about.

Absolutely amazing lodge! Extremely clean and modern. The hot tub was absolutely gorgeous and really added to our stay. Only thing that we would recommend is putting a blind on the front door, as it has a glass window. Apart from that, our stay was fantastic and will definitely be staying there again.

Very quiet. Flat was fairly clean a few issues - toilet needs to be cleaned much better under the rim it’s dirty - bleach will do it. Windows need cleaning inside and out. Mattress had broken springs and one piece of Metal was sticking out the side - new mattress needed. Nicely decorated and very large. Overall fairly good.

My daughter is a student in Bristol and is renting a property from Hopewell letting. Been dealing with a guy called Harry who is very rude. Emails have been sent with photos and Hopewell are just pushing to landlord. Yet nothing has been resolved. It's like students don't matter yet there massively overcharged. I'm hoping owner will read this and make contact. Cause the next steps will involve the relevant people local papers and council,we've tried to resolve this ourselves but with no luck

Great little pad for a stop over. Very clean and well presented. Bed was very comfortable too. The only drawback for me was the shower. For someone tall and large framed it was a little snug to say the least but the shower itself was great. If stay again.

The stay is good and location is excellent. Walking distance to the centre and relaxed neibourhood.
We only found an issue during our stay (and may be different in other rooms). The external window is not possible to open, so there is no way to ventilate the room properly, what lead to some moments with heavy smell when coocking or moisture smell after having a bath.
Apart from that the room is spacious and the space was clean enough.

My dear friend and I stayed and it deserves all 5 stars. An absolutely wonderful apartment with everything you'd need.
The facilities were outstanding and had a relaxing stay in the quiet neighbourhood. It was perfect.

Well positioned property for 2. Tall and narrow spread over 4 floors. I’m giving it 4 rather than 5 as it has a distinct damp problem in the basement and ground floor, but frankly you will be spending your time on the 1st floor or the 2nd floor bedroom. An irritation is that there appears to be no way of switching on the heated towel rail which is a problem in the smaller suite. Minorgrumbles apart I would definitely book it again, though directly with Hopewell than via AirBnB.
