Hunters provided us with a smooth selling process from start to finish and our house sold in just two days.
Thanks to Adam who valued, photographed and filmed our house. The photos and film looked great and definitely boosted interest on social media.
Between Robert and Zack, we were kept up to date with how things were going in what turned out to be a very quick selling process of six weeks.
Special mention goes also to Robert and Zack who were very tolerant of my stroppy mood (the high number of viewings in those first couple of days pushed me over the edge. Sorry!).

We can’t thank or recommend the Hunters Barnsley Team enough! We recently sold two properties with Hunters and had so much support from start to finish; answering all of our questions, helping us liaise with our buyers, navigate solicitors and were reasonably priced, with no hidden fees.
We got slightly above asking price on both properties after Adam’s valuation, photos/videos on Social Media and RightMove. Brogan was super speedy at getting viewings booked in around our schedules. Then Zack and Robert were on hand to help with everything else, there wasn’t anything we phoned for that they didn’t want to or couldn’t help with.
We are hopeful that we won’t need/want to sell again, but we’d recommend the Hunters team to anyone who is!

From the moment we spoke to hunters they were so professional ,we had four estate agents out to value our home and the warmth and professionalism shone through straight away, from Adam who came to value the property and take the photos, which were fantastic, to Zack and Robert who dealt with our sale .
They were so helpful when we had a problem ( nothing that involved them ) talking us through and giving us the best advice possible. We would definitely recommend hunters again and if we ever move again will use hunters without a doubt.

While you can sell your house for free or, half price of what you may pay Hunters ,
however there fee is reasonable and fair anyway.
The fact is you pay for what you get and by using Hunters Barnsley I received £15.000 more than the other three estate agents I approached where aiming for .
,Hunters know the market and know what the true market price off your property value is worth.
They are professionals who keep you updated, and remain unfazed when things look difficult .
They have years of experience and can be trusted to sell your house for the best possible price .
I have given many reviews and I tell it like it is so if I give some one five stars they have earned it.
I do recommend Hunters ,and will use them again if the need Arises .

I’m not one for leaving reviews but I wanted to share my experience with hunters.
We first met Robert as he came and valued our house. He was on time, polite, didn’t beat about the bush. Was extremely happy with his valuation and his pictures were mint.
The advert went up on a Friday afternoon and the house was STC on the Monday morning. Buzzing!!
Then came the b*llache with the solicitors doing there thing. But hunters were fantastic especially Laura who continuously chased all parties involved to move the process along. Nothing was too much trouble and happy to help even with the smallest queries.
I also had dealings with Adam and Zack and they were also happy to help in anyway they could.
I was really impressed with hunters as a business and can’t thank them and rate them enough!!!!
I’ve swore I’m never moving again. But should I do I’d go straight back to hunters to sell.

Robert came out and gave us all the information we needed, took fantastic photos of our property and made sure we were happy and fully understood everything.
Adam then kept in contact and managed all our bookings and there was a lot ???? even though our first sale fell through we still sold within two weeks and even more bookings.
Kept us upto date on what feedback people gave and any offers we received.
Laura was fantastic towards the end of the sale keeping us upto date with completion and any information from solicitors and buyers.
Whenever we rang, nothing was too much trouble and nothing was a stupid question.

The best estate agents in Barnsley! If you want a professional, experienced and considerate estate agent who always answers the phone(something which is quite rare in my experience)- go with Hunters in Barnsley! You will not regret it- the team take away all the stress they can and you can be 100% sure they put your interests first!
They were impressive from the very start, when Robert came to value the house he provided a reasonable valuation and had done his research on the area. Robert knew the market and explained the valuation based on this. The team then kept in contact without being pushy at all and offered a very competitive fee for their services. The photos Robert took were brilliant, and the video he made for social media attracted attention before the house went on rightmove! It had over 750 views after the first day of being posted!
Adam then ensured that everyone viewing the house was in a position to proceed providing the most professional and considerate service. I felt at ease leaving the house in the trusty hands of the professionals for viewings and once again Adam did I great job negotiating the offers and reccomended a great Solicitor!
Zack, Laura and Adam did a fantastic job keeping me informed throughout the rest of the process, even keeping me in the loop over Christmas and chasing up with our buyers solicitors between Christmas and New year!
Laura really stepped up to tackle a hectic few days close to completion- all the while keeping calm and reassuring me that everything was in control! She did a brilliant job and deserves a medal or two -and possibly an all expenses paid visit to the hairdresses for her service!
During the whole process the dedicated and friendly team worked hard to deliver THE BEST service and made sure everything went as smoothly as possible. I really can't fault the whole team, and can't reccomend them enough!

Hunters went above and beyond when it came to our house move, and not just on the sale.
Laura and Zack were so proactive throughout the process, and that's something that can't be said for other agents in the chain or even our own solicitors.
We even had communication from Laura when she wasn't meant to be working, and in the closing stages where we really needed people to push for completion, Laura was there in the office in her PJs. I'm sure she won't mind us saying that.
Without Hunters I think we'd still be waiting to complete, so we thank them wholeheartedly and would highly recommend them.

I’d recommend Hunters without reservation. Being a leashold things took a long time with numerous offers falling through. Just to add further complication The house was vacant as we had moved away. Hunters generated a steady stream of viewings and kept me updated twice per week throughout. I didn’t need to chase once. Then when our sale was agreed they were far more proactive than my solicitor in pushing the buyers along to completion. They were genuinely good (and we got our original asking price too!)

I recently sold my house with Hunters Estate agents and had a very positive experience with Zack and the team. I instructed two estate agents to value my home Hunters and another "high street brand". The other brand valued at slightly higher but the main reason I decided to go with Hunters was the passion they had for my house, how at the first time they saw the property they picked up on the unique selling points. This is something I felt that when speaking to potential buyers would put my property in the best possible light to get a sale.
Zack and his team arranged 6 viewings with-in a week and kept us fully up to date following each viewing. Each viewer was fully vetted and we didn't encounter a single time-waster.

I was unable to easily find, a place to go, to find all houses on hunters books, for sale.
As requested by hunters I will elaborate.
Not understanding technology is probably the problem. Also I have never house hunted before, so don't know the ropes.
I saw a house that said for sale, Hunters est agents. Logically I looked for Hunters est agent on Google.
I selected barnsley branch because the house was in Darfield.
I clicked on the add for hunters est agent. It opened up lovely, telling me all about the business and staff etc. But It was not obvious to me what to do next in order to see the house I was interested in or all the other houses for sale on Hunters books.
I was expecting to see pages of houses for sale from Hunters books and a facility to put in the address and hey presto view the house I wanted to see.
It seems I have to go to a tottaly diffrent site. (Somthing I may well have to do whichever estate agent I use, I don't know, because the house is with Hunters.)
I was frustrated not to find the house.
I then phoned Hunters
to say I couldn't find the property digitally,
to ask how I could view the property, how to find it digitally
and how much was.
I was told it was sold.!
Therefore had I found the diffrent site I would have probably spent hours trying to find a house that was not for sale.
That is why 1 star, because I feel Hunters web site should show me all properties for sale and indicate sold subject to contract, to prevent me wasting hours looking for a property already off the market.

They were terrible. The contact was so poor and it took days to get a call back.
We had 50/50 viewings and no shows and they brought round people who were never interested in buying to make it look like they were doing more,
They changed the pricing 4 times in 3 weeks, none of which was successful.
In the end I paid £150 to terminate my contract - best thing I ever did. Hunters failed to sell in 6 weeks. It went on with another agent and sold in 5 days!

We instructed Hunters Barnsley back in September; the initial experience of valuation, photos and initially getting to market was really easy and quick. We used Hunters as they sold a similar house round the corner from us.
After a few days we had one viewing and I called Hunters to say I expected more interest and that I didn’t feel the pricing, photos and Rightmove description was right. This was brushed off and was told by Daniel White he was the expert and to listen to him.
Fast forwards 2 weeks and Daniels changed the pricing significantly 3 times and we have had an equal amount of viewings and no shows.
I call the office and express that I’m unhappy, again speaking to Daniel White and I’m told I’m asking too much, and that my house isn’t worth the price due to what I paid for the house. That week Daniel then calls me and says he’s showing a couple round a similar house in Mapplewell and asks if he can call in and show them ours as they are really interested.
What actually happens still shocks me now - Daniel and his friend turn up with a couple who are clearly not interested. They don’t ask questions, want to look in any rooms and just talk to each other about what they are having for tea. Daniel and his friend just laugh and joke with each other. I’ve never felt so awkward in my own home. I then look online and see the house they were showing them around had an asking price of £50,000 less than ours!
I call the office and complain, I speak to the valuer Robert who is so lovely, and definitely is better than Hunters deserve. He tells me Daniel has had complaints before about him and that he should have never changed the marketing of my home so quick and so often.
We then go on holiday, and leave the Keys with them - they do one viewing in 2 weeks! I will just say they are so slow to provide feedback, and quite often I had to chase this for a few days as they never come back to me with it. They say they will call back in 10 mins and 3 days later your chasing their call back.
I then speak to Zack the office manager, he has no concept of how I’ve been treated and is more interested in giving me a corporate speech about hunters and how good they apparently are.
After 7 weeks we decide to pay the fee and leave - the best £150 we have ever spent and I would urge anyone who is stuck with them to pay it.
The day it is removed from the market with Hunters, it goes on with Haybrook over the road. We have 4 viewings in 4 days and then sell the property at asking price. Shows Hunters can’t have been doing a good job.
The owner? of Hunters calls me to apologise and to say he is sacking Daniel as he has had too many complaints. I mean of course that’s professional to say to a customer, but is actually just a lie. Daniels still working there haha!
I have to say the only decent people there are Ryan and Robert!
If your read this and are thinking there are so many good reviews and you might just take a chance, please don’t! We made that mistake, and have since heard from others who have had similar experiences!

We’ve sold 3 houses with Hunters now and quite Honestly have had a brilliant experience every time!! We had our apartment on with WH Brown for 6 months with very little interest. We decided to take it off and put it on with Hunters. Within 2 days and 1 visit it was sold at very near to the asking price. Brilliant result guys thank you.
They have continued to excel for us and produce great results. Zac, Rob and Dan are professional but will use every weapon in their arsenal to get you the sale. Hunters kept us up to date at every stage of the negotiations and with no sales pressure at all. We felt we were listened to all the way. Well done guys keep doing what your doing.

We would to thank Zak and the team at Hunter's in Barnsley for a fantastic and understanding service selling our parents house after bereavement.
The sale was far from straight forward and fairly complex but at every turn we found the team in Barnsley willing to offer their help and support without any question. Thankfully this support extended outside normal office hours which was so valuable with working full time.
We had used the services of another Barnsley Estate Agent but found their service woeful and unprofessional and Hunter's were recommended to us during an off chance conversation with a buyer who had used their service on a regular basis.
The property sold at the marketed value and sold reasonably quickly and the team supported us all the way through to completion.
Due to the service we received I would not hesitate to recommend Hunter's in Barnsley to family or friends and suggest anyone wishing to sell a property consider using their service. Thanks again guys 10/10 service, you got it right from valuation to completion.

Outstanding service from Hunters from start to finish. Rob came and did our valuation and gave realistic advice around the price of our property and how quickly we could secure a sale. We had 2 other Barnsley estate agents out to value our property and both of them hounded us after valuation with phone calls to try and persuade us to use them. Hunters didn’t do this and I had to ring them to instruct them to sell our property which we liked. We had viewings booked in before it even went on Rightmove. Zack , Ashleigh and Daniel in the office did a fantastic job managing viewings and keeping us informed, up until accepting an offer I spoke to Zack daily and he always offered sound advice. They work really hard to get the buyers through the door to view and I cannot fault their service. Our property went on Rightmove on 26/10/18 and we sold within 2 weeks and completed on 18/12/18 , we are now in our new home for Christmas. I would no hesitation in using Hunters again.

Having had my flat up for sale originally with Haybrooks for 8 months I decided to give Hunters an opportunity to sell it for me.BEST DECISION! I ever made! Rob was great when he came out to value the property.And Zack & Daniel made Haybrooks look like amateur’s! There always updated me when they promised to do so. These guys are the best estate agents I have ever used and deserve I massive thank you from myself for selling my flat. In. My opinion Haybrooks talk the talk but they can’t walk the walk. And Haybrooks were more expensive.

The staff were all down to Earth and friendly and went above and beyond their remit (even initially advising us to rent out our property so that we would make more money despite them losing the sale!) They knew the area well and gave an accurate valuation of our property so we had no nasty surprises when it came to selling our house. We had viewings (and second viewings) lined up before it even went live on the website. They also found us a property to buy. They were easy to contact via phone, email and the office and worked around our working hours. We sold our property, for above asking price, and bought a new one within one day and a couple of months later we are enjoying our new home...all ready for Christmas. In addition their prices compete with all of the online agents I tried but we gained a much more personalised friendly and therefore less stessful experience. Thank you Hunters.

Spoke with Daniel white talking about how we couldn't get a mortgage for our situation and this that and the other. Within 2 days he sat us down at the office got Paul hurt a mortgage advisor to come see us from prestige financial solutions and the ball was rolling. We never knew we could get a mortgage for our own home and within a week we had a mortgage agreed in principle and our house lined up. Every single bit of confusion or something we weren't sure about Daniel and the team at hunters was a phone call away at any time! Prestige team also! Forever greatfull to them all as we are sat in our first family home that we own! Daniel white put me his life into his job and gives 110% with everything he did for us. Recommend everybody to use hunters and also prestige financial solutions. Thanks guys

Would highly recommend Hunters. From initial Valuation through to completion excellent service.
We looked at several estate agents in the area local and national chains, and chose Hunters. House sold in 3 days! Some rocky issues with the conveyancer ... but that's another review!.. Hunters supported the chain wherever possible, dealing with all parties.
When they say they deal with it all... that's just what they do, from sale / purchase through to arranging the removal company.

I cannot praise Hunters enough for the valuable assistance and advice afforded me when I was relocating to Barnsley from Devon. As is often expected in buying and selling especially over a long distance the path was a bit rocky and the successful outcome was in the main due to Laura keeping me informed of the progress of my purchase and giving me sound advice as to the steps to take with the selling of my property in Devon, especially after a buyer pulled out a good way through the process. We went to Hunters, Barnsley, after 2 unproductive months with an Internet agent. We were buying from Hunters so thought we would sell too so as to keep everything under one roof.
Within 1 week the house was sold! Proof that you get what you pay for.
From Robs first visit to value our house, (fair valuation, not internet over-valuation), to Daniels negotiations, Laura's administration and Zachs management, the whole team were fantastic.
This is a small team but they really looked after us. Special mention must go to Laura who had to manage an abnormally lengthy chain for a 12 week period! This seemed painless to me, but I suspect she shielded us from the various problems throughout and I always found this professional, young woman to be a comfort I could always rely on!
Yes there are cheaper, Internet alternatives. Yes some traditional agents charge less than 1.44%, some charge more! For me if you want a personable, professional team to look after you Hunters Barnsley are the answer.
Would definitely use again!

within 1week of putting my mums house up for sale with hunters it was sold. Straight away they were ringing with bookings for viewings and kept us up to date at least once a day. We originally put our house up with Another estate agent but had nothing but trouble with them from the start and no viewings what so ever.
After then meeting with Robert at hunters we decided to give them a go.
It was the best decision we could have made. Robert was patient and helped move things around so we could get the best photos of the house. He did a brilliant write up and we were very happy.
Within a few days of the house going online we had a our first viewing.
Daniel was the one who arranged it all and he worked wonders at Getting the house out to everyone and anyone who would be interested. He worked hard and was a joy to talk to.
The house sold less than month after it went on the market and Daniel got us an offer for more than we thought we’d Achieve.
We then worked with Laura the sales progressor who again was lovely friendly and went above and beyond all that her job asks of her.
We had a very difficult period from offer received to completion and Laura was there for both me and my buyer when ever we needed her. I feel like after the time we spent on the phone together I’ve made a friend for life.
I can’t recommend hunters in Barnsley enough and if we ever do sell in the future I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

What can i say had bad experience on 2014 trying to sell my house with william h brown after 2 years and 1 of the years with no viewings at all i took it down. July this year we decided to try again but with Hunters seeing boards going quickly we gave them a try and within 1 month we sold.
