We did have an issue with people being left on site with the property unlocked once and it took some time to get the pictures on the website correct.
Also I did not like the regular advertising emails that seemed to be automatically generated and the property performance reports from Zoopla and Rightmove were basically useless. having said that when speaking to the agents themselves communication was very good.

We feel that Hunters have gone above and beyond in the sale of the property in Bolton upon Dearne. Despite lockdown, they have ensured that viewings were carried out and we were kept completely up to date with all details. The staff worked very hard to keep the chain on track to completion. Thanks to Terri, Becky and Kate for everything.

I have recently sold my property through Hunters Dearne Valley who are in Bolton upon Dearne and the service was amazing! My property sold within 3 days and the sale ran smoothly right to the end. The photos taken by Terri were fantastic and the customer service from Becky, Kate and Kirsty was great. Would highly recommend!!

I normally don't write a review and just pass off the bad experience but I'm quite shocked at the service received from Hunters. Having worked in the industry myself I'm aware of what is expected and it's disappointing to see that Hunters don't carry the care and level of customer service expected. We chose to have Hunters out as they have properties on in the same estate and thought it would be good for them and us to sell our property.
I rang to book a valuation of my rental property to sell it, having booked my appointment in for a couple of weeks time, as Saturdays are busy within estate agency and my own diary, Hunters proceeded to say, we'll see you then to end the call, until I asked if they would like the address and details of the property. This was my first concern but I passed it off as she may have been new or having 'one of those days'.
I have just received a call from Hunters informing me that they can't make the appointment on Saturday as the Valuer has a personal appointment that they can't move "so they need to move mine". This must have been booked in after I've booked my valuation otherwise Hunters would've surely rung me to cancel sooner, rather than 3 days before. Which either way is not good practice. Having explained previously and again that it is a rented property and we are unable to get in any other time as to not mess the tenant about their response was, well we'll have to cancel this appointment then.
I'm not angry, just disappointed in the service received. Estate Agents have enough stick surrounding their job, they don't need people adding fuel to the fire. I'm extremely disappointed with the service received and would not recommend. I know many estate agents that would love the opportunity to come and value the house but unfortunately can't now as it is too late in the day to get a good estate agent out.
If this is how they treat their valuations, the bread and butter to their business then how would they treat me once on the market and tied into a contract with them? Thoroughly disappointing.
