25th Sep 2024 (18 days ago)Hunters, Barnsley, have been by far the most credible, organised and effective agents of all I've done business with in the area over the past few years. Their motivation in marketing properties, their drive to secure buyers, and their professional ethos in shepharding the sales through to completion are absolutely on-point. Communication and customer service are the two skills that stand out as being exemplary, and I can say this for every Hunters agent, which makes every correspondence clear, timely and a pleasure. There is no question of choice of Estate Agents in this area for me, Hunters are the one.

All of the staff at Applegate Properties who I dealt with ( Amy,Claire,Hannah,Paul and Seren) were unfailingly courteous,professional and prompt. Accordingly,I would'nt hestitate to recommend Applegate Properties.
1st Oct 2024 (12 days ago)I used Kendalls for the sale of a small house as an executor. I found Elizabeth Cooke was helpful, prompt, and clear in all our correspondence and a small number of face-to-face meetings. I felt entirely confident in her advice and her handling of the process.

8th Oct 2024 (5 days ago)We recently offered on a property for sale with WH brown Barnsley and initially the sales negotiator was lovely, chatty and very enthusiastic eager to get us to use their solicitors. We had our offer accepted but decided to use our own solicitor…. Following this unfortunately the service went downhill. Wh brown took 4 weeks to issue sales instructions to our solicitor, no updates on our purchase or the upper chain unless I called them ( then I would be told I’d get a callback which rarely happened until I’d called 2/3 more times ). My sales negotiator left the company part way though my purchase but nobody actually told me this, another negotiator in the chain told me . The communication was poor to say the least , I would not recommend using them at all.

A big thanks for all your help and making the tenancy as smooth as possible. A special thanks to Mr. Harrison for his candid approach and honesty at all times. It's been much appreciated. I truly appreciate your support throughout the journey.The whole process was managed in an efficient and professional manner with excellent communication. Always ahead of the game, very smooth and friendly. Hope to receive the same thorughtout our tenancy as well. Josh and Cheryl have been fantastic-thank you so much.

I had a good honest chat about what I wanted with David jones the valuation manager who said he would get back to me within a couple of days. I heard nothing so after 5 days a contacted them again but conveniently David was out of the office so I asked again if he could contact me. What a surprise he couldn’t be bothered to return my call. Avoid using this branch at Wakefield because they will let you down. Very very poor.

Completely put at ease with the whole process and were head and shoulders above the other prospective agents we spoke to. Nothing was too much trouble and were always available for any enquiries, advice and support, not just on the sale but were also happy to give advice on our purchase too. We were always kept up to date as things progressed during the sale process. Would absolutely recommend to anyone and would definitely use them again (but not for a while yet ????)
