I have rented through Hunters and Corina for the past two years to which I am just coming to the end of my tenancy. The initial letting process was very efficient and easy. They have been quick to respond to our concerns and maintained the property to a high standard. I rented a property for a year through Corina Harris at Hunters as a student, and the process of applying to rent, as well as communication with her throughout the tenancy, were both smooth. This was my first time renting, especially as a group of students, so the clarity and ease of communication was a major help and relief. The property itself was in great condition compared to a lot of other student housing, and reaching the letting agent was easy, with swift replies to queries, and quick arrangement of visits from workmen for any repairs, whether small or urgent, which was appreciated, especially for major repairs. Would recommend this agency, particularly for any students who are unsure which estate agents are reliable.

I have worked with Hunters Oxford, and in particular with Corina Harris, for well over 20 years. Corina has managed the renting of my flat for all of that time; and then has managed the sale of the flat. In both aspects, the service has been exceptional.
Management - Corina has always been meticulous in attention to detail, and thoughtful in terms of advice for improvements. She has been vigorous in setting profitable prices, active in finding new tenants when required, and careful about managing necessary costs. First rate in all respects.
Sale of flat - Again, Corina took full responsibility for this, since I live abroad. She marketed the property very attractively, and found a solid buyer very quickly - at the asking price. She then monitored and guided the conveyancing process with her usual attention to detail, giving a useful push when the process went slowly. I am profoundly grateful to her for handling the sale so efficiently and successfully.

Mr Sandwell was condescending and cruel. The house I rented in Cowley was not fit for purpose. They regularly laughed in the face of my distress. Taking advantage of young people - students - like they do, is shameful. I'm glad I'm out of there now. Horrible.

I dealt with Corina and Mr Sandwell when I was a student. Four friends and I were letting a house in Cowley. In my opinion, it was entirely unfit for habitation: damp, broken fixtures, security issues. We made repeated pleas with Corina and Mr Sandwell to have something done about the living conditions we were forced to endure. It never got better and I found their manner derisive, dismissive and bullying. I've never known such unprofessionalism and truly hope that no-one else has endure such in their lifetime.

Our move to Oxford happened very suddenly. It was shortly before the start of the school year and we quickly had to find a new home for a rather anxious teenager, about to start six form in a foreign country, and for ourselves. We stumbled upon the house we ended up renting through Hunters when looking at another property close-by. We fell in love with the house immediately but wouldn't have been able to get everything sorted without the generous, highly competent help of Corina. She not only quickly arranged a viewing for us but expertly steered us through the complicated process of renting the property.
Throughout our three years of tenancy, we could always rely on her and her team. A broken boiler was quickly replaced, and Corina's help was invaluable when one Sunday morning the fire alarm system played up, bringing the entire neighbourhood to our door.
Renting in Oxford can hardly be described as a pleasant experience: The housing market is brutal, prices are ridiculously high, and the rights of tenants are curtailed by laws which clearly favour landlords. However, Corina and her team never failed to patiently explain every option and every regulation and to help us make the most of our stay in this beautiful city. We can recommend Hunters wholeheartedly.

I am Japanese and had experience of renting house from 2 letting agency. Although my experience is quite limited, I dare to say that Hunters is one of the BEST letting agencies in Oxford. We had difficulty proving income etc. with our English not quite good, but Corina had helped us sorted out everything, from viewing the property from Japan with video, contract, moving in, issues and repairs of property, moving out and end of tenancy. If I have chance to come to Oxford in the future, I am sure to visit Hunters Oxford to see wonderful people there again!

Rented through Hunters for 2 years and was consistently impressed by their professionalism.
I went into the arrangement somewhat scarred because a previous agency (name withheld) had systematically blanked our concerns from the outset while spamming us with affiliate deals.
Hunters could not have been more different. They were flexible about our requirements and resolved our concerns about the property. Obviously, ultimately, they are the Landlord's agents but they expressed this in a businesslike rather than adversarial manner.
Choosing between two equal houses, I would favour the one let through Hunters.

I have rented through Hunters for the past three years. Communication has not always been easy; I am yet to get through via telephone, and initially was only able to make contact about the property I found online by physically going into the offices. Since then, it has been 50:50 with respect to email queries. Some issues are dealt with promptly and efficiently, in other cases I have had to ask multiple times to get an answer to a query. However, when a query is seen to, it has been in a thorough and professional manner. I believe Hunters to have the necessary expertise of an estate agent, but as a tenant, I have not felt like a valued customer.

I can't tell you about my experience with a recent let as the only way I could get our deposit back was to agree not to complain about any aspect of the tenancy or the process of charges negotiation. I can tell you to be very careful about using this letting agent. They issue a notice to quit towards the end of each assured short hold tenancy rather than let the tenancy run-on so that they can raise the rent, knowing you are in situ and charge new fees for the tenancy agreement. Scrutinise your inventory and the check-out report in detail. Do not suggest you have any cause for complaint.

I’d rather give them no stars. They have messed us about the whole tenancy. Every email we send we do not get a response until we have called them to tell them to respond and once we have the response we are attacked with the threat that we are breaching our duties as tenants which is always a blaitnent lie.
It has been an absolute JOKE and an awful experience and I would not wish them on my worst enemy.

I have rented a property with them for a year now, in that time they have have either been very slow or ignore you completely when trying to contact them about any issues with the house. One month there was an overpayment from our end and they insisted that to refund it would cost £18 admin fee and then when I disagreed about that fee, continued to talk down to me like a child.

Being a single parent, I had struggled to find a place to rent, but they welcomed us open armed.
They have always been very professional, kind and warm.

The property was great, way above other Letting Agents' standards in Oxford.

Having just completed my fourth year living in Birmingham with numerous letting agencies, Hunters have been the most professional by far. The company valued my business on an individual level and every minor grievance was addressed rapidly and efficiently. Would thoroughly recommend.

From far the worst agency in oxford!
You got a lots of competitors, I recommend you to check another agency.
They have treated us like second class citizen (3 French, 1 Indian, 1 Greek) when we tried to rent a house with them.
They gave us a meeting time, to tell us that the meeting time was the deadline to accept the house. So they refuse to let us the house, to tell us later that they already rented the house to someone else (Before the deadline).
We then ask for others properties, and they told us (with a demonic smile) that they had none FOR US.
What is then the point to approach an agent who got 0 property?
Don't waste your time! Check other company around oxford!
