My brother and I appointed Idris Estates to market our late parents house in Abergele. Throughout the whole process they have been absolutely first class! The original contact was with Adam Palmer and he really did become our ‘go to guy’ ! He was always available by text or phone and handled everything in such an efficient, friendly and professional manner that he has changed my rather pessimistic view of Estate Agents! The whole way this business conduct themselves is in another league to most other agents I have encountered. If you’re looking to sell a property in North Wales - don’t even consider using anyone other than Adam and the team at Idris!

Despite clear instructions following 2 aborted sales due to prospective buyers losing their sellers , that Idris were only to introduce cash buyers or those whose own homes were well advanced down the sold route, they deliberately misled me with a buyer who was not in fact in the latter category at all. This went in for 4 months losing me the opportunity to market at peak house buying season with another firm keep the property on the open market. They also failed to chase the buyer or their solicitor for information and keep on top of it and did not communicate regularly with me without having to be contacted first. I would not recommend them. When complaining about this latest debacle and advising them I was withdrawing the property, they sent an e mail with a list of people who had viewed my property stating that if any of them purchased it in the future they expected commission. There was no apology for their failures. Having used them for 2 previous property sales in the past 3 years this outcome was sadly a sign of poor long term business practice

Idris Estates is a brilliant agency. Unlike other firms, they don’t start with a random valuation that only flatters the seller. Instead, they evaluate a property carefully and market it accordingly. They produce excellent photography, text and social media content to support the sale - their approach is creative and intelligent. The team are very knowledgeable, engaged and responsive throughout the whole process. For us the proof of the pudding is that we have sold two properties with Idris in the last couple of months. I honestly cannot recommend Danielle Bradbury from Idris Estates highly enough.<br><br>Buying a house can be such a stressful and overwhelming process, but having Danielle there made such a huge difference to us. From the very beginning, she was incredibly supportive, helpful and reassuring. She genuinely went above and beyond for us at every stage.<br><br>What really stood out was how available she was. We had a brilliant experience with Idris estates, our house had been on the market for a while with another agency but once we got chatting to Brooke, our estate agent, after we reached out it was a game changer. Brooke was so on it and made us feel confident we were going to sell our house. We got so many more viewings and communication was so easy. We were introduced to the rest of the team, via WhatsApp, which was great and made us feel really reassured to know we could talk to other people if we needed to. But we didn’t because Brooke was always on hand incase we had any queries or we were just sending updates. As a first time buyer, I was nervous about even making the first steps to going to see a house, and Adam removed any worries as he is extremely professional and also genuinely invested in making sure you get what you’re looking for. It sold within a couple of weeks at the price we wanted.<br>Communication has been great the whole way through the process and it's been a difficult move due to things on the other end.<br>Danielle has kept us informed on weekly progress every Monday and was on hand all day on completion to chase up solicitors and other estate agents.<br>I always thought houses sold themselves so it doesn't matter who you choose to sell it. We recently purchased our first property and wanted to share our experience. From start to finish, Danielle was absolutely fantastic. She was incredibly patient, attentive, and consistently went out of her way to support us throughout the entire process. As first-time buyers, this was a very big deal for us, and Danielle helped make the journey feel far more relaxed—even when the solicitors were taking much longer than expected. Her reassurance and professionalism genuinely made a difference.<br><br>The only negative we experienced was not related to the estate agents themselves. When we finally moved into the property, the home had been left very dirty by the previous vendors. It was quite overwhelming to walk into a house that clearly hadn’t been cleaned, especially during what should have been an exciting moment. We also revisited the property again after six months, and although not the estate agents’ fault, the garden had been left noticeably overgrown and the general condition wasn’t quite as we had originally seen it. It appeared the previous owners simply wanted to leave quickly.<br><br>None of this reflects on the estate agents or on Danielle—who was outstanding throughout—but it’s worth noting for future buyers.<br>Overall, we are extremely grateful for Danielle’s support and professionalism. She truly made a stressful process much easier, and we would highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy a property.

We recently sold our house with the help of Idris Estates. The service we received from Adam was faultless. Communication was outstanding. Phone calls and messages responded too immediately. Viewings carefully organised and managed and subsequent negotiations handled very professionally. Never once did we feel things could have been handled any better. Our transaction was quite complex with a long chain but again this was handled well to ensure that both we as sellers and our buyers were kept informed every step of the way. Idris Estates is fabulous and it has been a pleasure working with Adam and Danielle who have been stars! I had never dealt with estate agents before and was rather dreading the whole process of selling a house: I had heard horror stories and was prepared for strain and difficulties, especially since the property requires sympathetic modernisation. But, Idris made it all so straightforward: from the first meeting with Adam at the property, everything went so smoothly. What I had seen as a ‘problem’ (ie selling the house) became an opportunity. The house went on sale at the beginning of March and by early May the sale was complete! Even better, Adam and Danielle kept me updated throughout the process, and liaised so effectively with the whole chain. They are amazingly swift in responding to calls and What’s App messages and everything was done so seamlessly I still can’t believe it! I would 100% recommend Idris Estates to anyone wanting to sell (or buy) a house: they are knowledgeable, understanding and super well-organised.
