13th Nov 2024 (9 weeks ago)Nigel was extremely professional in his approach, he took his time listening to us about the property, measured all the rooms, walked round the large garden noting all the interesting features, informed us of his intention of highlighting certain aspects of our cottage which we we had taken for granted. He discussed the general marketing of other properties in the area as regards to price and compared what we had to offer before coming to a figure which we found acceptable. Nigel was quick organising the photography and getting our property onto the market. He was continually updating and informing us of progress and within a very short space of time had found a buyer who offered us the asking price. Since then he has acted swiftly to move the sale along and we are looking forward hopefully to completing the sale. We are very impressed with Sterlings and would recommend it to anyone thinking of selling their property.
30th Nov 2023 (1 year ago)They rent me a freezing house, it’s likes the same to be outside or even worst ! there’s not insulation in the house, windows are not double glazed, just in the kitchen, mould comes up, my wardrobes are completely wet my, I’ve asked to landlord to insulate the roof, but the house stills cold, the house doesn’t keep heated !!! Expending too much gas bills, and no one said anything about it ! So the winter it’s comes again and I’ll not be suffering again, in this fridge ! Ive tried to contact them about, but I didn’t get any answer, sent emails I’ve just get a short email with not much explanations. I’ll not gonna be sick again in this freezing house, and I’ll not recommend this state agency for anyone ! Avoid them !

11th Mar 2024 (10 mo. ago)I work for the nhs and was visiting a very poorly lady this afternoon, and had parked in the car park behind this ladies house, which I hadn't realised was actually owned by Bob Parry Estate Agents in Llanrwst. There were no signs to say it was a private car park, and not being from this area I just assumed it was for the residents of the area. After my visit with this lady, I returned to the car park to find the entrance/exit had been blocked by a red Mercedes, to which a lady passing told me belonged to one of the estate agents, so I went in to ask to be let out and apologise for not realising it was a private car park. I was met by a very rude, short and overweight man with grey hair, who I'm assuming was in his 70's, and with his righteous attitude, I'm assuming he was a manager or maybe even Bob Parry himself, who told me that it was his car park, was sarcastic and said 'good for you' when I told him I worked for the nhs and was visiting someone very unwell, wanted to know who I was visiting which I obviously couldnt tell him, to which he told me that i was incompetent, and told me he wasn't going to move his car. I explained that I didn't realise it was private as there were no signs, and that I needed to leave to visit another patient, to which he said it wasn't his problem and he wouldn't be moving it. Thankfully another member of staff was present, who kindly moved the car to let me out of the car park. As I said previously, I had no idea that it was privately owned, otherwise I wouldn't have parked there, and I won't park there again now knowing this, but the attitude from this angry little man was ridiculous, and I wanted to make a complaint and maybe suggest putting a sign somewhere to say that it is privately owned, as if he were to be rude to someone else like that, I worry that they wouldn't show as much self restraint as myself. 21st Aug 2024 (21 weeks ago)Advertising with incorrect details and 2/3 weeks later not updated. Viewing experience was great Freddie was professional and knowledgeable. The property we were interested in was a redevelopment of old law chambers in Chester City centre - the pricing didn’t seem to make sense based on advertised measurements - when an offer was made based on this we were advised that their advert was incorrect - the property remains advertised with the old measurements including a property already sold which is said by Jackson Stops to have been considerably smaller than advertised - whilst builder and agents indemnify themselves by suggesting the purchaser should confirm sizes - it feels disingenuous. We are still awaiting the revised sizes which at one point they had but have since said they await from architects.

19th Apr 2024 (8 mo. ago)They were excellent when my husband bought our house in 2022. We have now returned to them as sellers because we are needing to relocate for work and have placed our faith in them and their experience in the local market. We would give 5 stars but they are so busy that it doesn't feel as friendly and open as it used to. Having said that, Iwan himself and Amanda who is overseeing our listing are down to earth and very supportive. They work hard. Overall, we are happy with this agent and hope to recommend them to family and friends.

But we’ve stuck with Currans as we trusted them and had faith that if anyone could get a sale they could. We haven’t been disappointed. They have a fantastic sales team and their marketing/ photography is on point. You get that personal service with Currans and nothing was too much trouble. They have all been great but one agent in particular (Matt) has gone above and beyond to help us, sending messages in the evenings, or on his day off whenever he got updates, putting our mind at rest , calming me down and reassuring me when I though it was never going to happen! All done with care and professionalism. I highly recommend this Agency to sell your home taking care of every detail. We can’t thank you enough for being on this journey with us
31st Jul 2024 (24 weeks ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could

Liam was extremely knowledgeable, clued in on the local area and how to market the property to its best effect. The property was uploaded Thurs evening and by Monday afternoon, e.g. 4 days later we had received 6 viewings and an offer over the starting price. This experience far outweighed our expectations and Liam is a real pro in an industry that can been seen as somewhat cut throat. Liam set realistic expectations and over delivered on those expectations. I would highly recommend The Agency UK as a result. Thank you ????
