We have had experience of dealing with John Goodwin Estate Agents for more than 3 years whilst helping first a relative and then when looking for our own home. In that time, we dealt with numerous Estate agents across Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, and Worcestershire. Some were okay, many were appalling, and some stood out as excellent, with genuine hard-working staff who had not only their own clients, but the customer's interests at heart too.
John Goodwin is clearly in this final category. Not simply because they found us our home, but because throughout the entire experience, they treated us with kindness, respect, listened to our needs, and offered help in any way they could.
Always professional, they ensured we were kept informed of potential properties and bent over backwards to accommodate us with viewings.
When we finally found the right property, they continued to work with us and support us through the whole process, offering recommendations for other professional services, such as Surveyors and Solicitors and ensuring all continued to go smoothly.
Having been used to an entirely different system in Scotland, we were grateful for the advice and guidance provided.
Although we didn’t experience selling a property with them, I certainly wouldn’t hesitate to use them if I were to sell.
I cannot recommend them enough to any prospective purchaser and just wish that more Estate agents in England offered a similar service.

We had been looking for a new property on the Worcestershire/Herefordshire borders for a couple of years and finally found one through John Goodwin in Ledbury. The whole team that we dealt with, Nick, Sarah and Ann, acted like a team and each were on top of our case when one or the other were on leave. There's always some toing and froing with sellers and in this case the sellers were under time pressure from developers to move quickly into their next home. Nick from John Goodwin very helpfully and pro-actively negotiated with the developers to settle concerns over the completion date and also smoothed a last minute issue which arose. Sarah too was great at finding ways through the usual misunderstandings and concerns that arise in the labyrinth of conveyancing in England.
From offer to exchange in around 7 weeks was amazing. We couldn't rate the team more highly: if you want Estate Agents who will seamlessly guide you into your dream home, help smooth turbulent waters and give you a responsive and pro-active service look no further than John Goodwin!

They were truly outstanding & they really eased what could have been a potentially stressful situation by working with honesty, professionalism, efficiency & politeness.

I was part of a very flaky chain, and found Sarah at John Goodwin incredibly helpful, cheerful and supportive during an incredibly trying time. It's no exaggeration that the whole deal might have fallen apart without her proactive involvement on behalf of her client.
