We recently used John Cranmer & Co to start a lease for a rental property having sold our house. We were on quite a tight turnaround and Sian was so helpful and went out of her way to help us (and our dog Alf!) view, sign for and move into a place within a week. Sian has been incredibly helpful with sorting out minor 'snagging' issues after we've moved in, is easy to get hold of and a pleasure to deal with. The worst letting company in 3 countries I've been to. This guy fooled me when he rented me my first ever apartment in UK. He rented me a 3 bedroom flat without telling me it is not suitable for my big family. It was my first time and I don't know about the nature of construction in UK. He rented me a flat that transmits sound to the below neighbours. Every tiny little step of ours is heard downstairs. Imagine a family of 6, the little one of them is 8, in a flat that whispers are heard outside it. I even discovered that he also fooled the landlord and didn't tell him that we were a big family although we wrote that we were a family of 6 in the application. Moreover, he fooled the neighbours who had an agreement with the landlord not to rent the apartment to family with kids. Adding water to the mud, he tried to con me over my deposit by sending me an insulting email full of lies about damages to the apartment and in a very superior judgmental insulting language. At the end I communicated with the landlord directly and we reached an agreement and he, the landlord, made the necessary cleaning of the apartment and deducted from the deposit after my approval. Edit: After Mr. Cranmer has seen my review he sent me another insulting email that I will keep with the previous one. I usually like to end bad business relationships quitely, but what me would like to tell my story with Mr. John was his insulting superior language in his last email. If he just kept it professional to the end I would not write the review. But you know your tongue is your worst enemy.... Read more

I wish I had read previous review regarding no call back. I’ve left two voice messages on the landline number for someone to call me back. I called back for the third time and the attitude of the male who answered was unprofessional. So....I won’t be asking this estate agent to sell my property in Henley and I won’t be viewing a property they have on the market. Your customer service style has lost you some business... Read more
