Recently ended my tenancy at a 2 bed apartment in dorridge. Im not one to make a fuss but on the first inspection i mentioned the stats and boiler were not working to a point where i needed to have the heating on full 100% of the time or off 100% of the time, with a young child this is challenging and costly gas bills. The shower screen allowed water to pass so the main bathroom wasnt usable. To start with a plumber came and confirmed the issues but 2 years later after being reminded and a few phone calls in between nothing ever got fixed. I then left leaving the apartment spotless apart from a small chip in the skirting board and a small crack in a plastic fridge tray. They tried to charge me £440 for everything you can imagine a smear on the mirror for example. Stupidly i offered £150 to the deposit scheme and it was accepted. They visited taking pictures far too often and once my notice was given every few days a call asking to come and take pictures etc. all they seem to care about is the landlord, money and getting it let out asap no care for tennants. Take pictures of everything and be prepared for visit after visit phone call after phone call.

During a difficult market Ann Wood went above and beyond to help us secure a buyer for our property. It was a bumpy road and without Ann’s support and guidance it would not have reached completion! We cannot thank Ann enough for all of her help during this process! As soon as I spoke to Ann during an initial enquiry about a valuation I new DM&Co were the agent for us. Elaine represented us and conducted all viewings personally, and although we had some challenges, due to the moving market trends, she got us through them with good humour and professionalism. We have bought and sold several houses in Solihull over the last 20 years and working with Elaine, Kathy and the DM & Co team was honestly the best experience to date. I would highly recommend them! Selling houses is a stressful experience and using DM & Co certainly limited this for us.

Fab estate agent! Sold my house before it even hit the market, and kept it very hush hush as the kids didn’t know we were moving, so they went above and beyond to help out allowing me to communicate mainly via text as it was tricky to take calls. Helped all the way from selling, to completion, and were so kind and understanding of a difficult situation, they genuinely care! I even got commas wishing me well, well after the sale had completed. What a lovely bunch of people! Would not hesitate to use again, especially after having some not so great estate agent related experiences in the past. Great job guys, thank you!
