4th Nov 2024 (11 weeks ago)Great experience renting a home from DM&Co (Shirley). The process was quick and easy and we moved into our new home within a week or so. Everyone we spoke to was really helpful and replied almost instantly to any queries we had. Evie showed us around the property and was really helpful, and then equally when Chiara took over to deal with the paperwork etc she too was very helpful. Would definitely recommend DM&Co, the process was seamless.

Extremely professional and personable, with an excellent knowledge of the market whilst being realistic and down to earth. Nothing has been too much trouble, every communication has been easy and all our queries dealt with swiftly and concisely. Thank you both, you have made the process of selling/buying a house far easier than anticipated.
27th Apr 2024 (8 mo. ago)Not impressed with my experience as a potential seller or purchaser. Would give them a lot less than 1 star if it was possible. We had a valuation over a month ago, agent could not give us a valuation at the time and had to speak to her boss and heard nothing since. Really odd since they had sold another almost identical house 2 roads away away 2 or 3 weeks earlier? When queried during my potential purchase viewing was told they had e-mail issues I can only assume they did not have a phone, clearly they didn't want the business? Thankfully we booked 2 valuations that day and chose the other agent who not only gave us a valuation whilst he was here we were also given more confidence in the service on offer. It was the right decision as we sold in a week, but the one shipways sold took about 3 months or so. I made an offer as a purchaser which was increased as I was told by the agent it would be accepted. Then I was asked to increase further so it would be taken off the market as I wasn't sold but they knew this when the offers were made, and it was even on the offer email. A couple of days later when I was sold and after a week of being given the run around by the agent who would be in meetings, viewings and other calls when I tried to contact her I decided to withdraw my offer as could no longer trust what I was being told. Whilst I understand they have to be led by the vendor honesty and trust should be integral to any negotiation. Not sure how you would know the sellers thoughts and movements if you can't contact them?

I would not recommend working with or engaging with this organisation as the owner is entirely rude and entitled. Completely poor service to prospective clients. Owner Leon was unprofessional and walked away during the middle of a conversation. AVOID USING THIS AGENCY.

Tom the Agent gave false information about offers and the client requirements. I spoke to another individual who gave an offer only to be told that Tom was giving false information about how high the offer was at and then proceeded to lie. This is a new Estate Agency operating in Birmingham and I will also be reporting them and their tactics along with other members of the public that have viewed properties and how Tom has been sharing offer amounts with everyone other than tbe clients

29th Oct 2024 (12 weeks ago)If you are planning on moving house then I would really recommend going with Jeremy McGinn & Co. They were all superb throughout the whole process. Everyone of the team are really friendly and approachable. If I had any queries they would always make time for me to give advice and explain the process clearly. Which was so reassuring especially when you know you have their support through what can be a stressful process. Thanks to Jeremy and the team our dream of a new home has become a reality.

23rd Dec 2024 (4 weeks ago)0 stars if I could, we recently bought a house under Sterling Homes and had the worst stressful experience ever. Not once was we considered throughout the whole buying process, communication was 0, even the solicitors involved told us to not deal comms with Sterling Homes as they are confusing matters, if we didn’t love the house we would’ve pulled out due to the on going lies and attitude of the staff. Even told us ‘key is under mat’ when we were due to pick up the key. I know they don’t work for the buyer but I would never want Sterling Homes to sell my home in the future.

19th Dec 2024 (5 weeks ago)Estate agents have generally had a somewhat undesirable reputation in the public eye. Russell Patterson has most certainly shattered this perception in his handling of the sale of our house. His patience and courtesy over an unexpectedly long 18 month period (due to market conditions) were much needed. The continuity of communication with a single person throughout the process cannot be commended highly enough. Russell and his team were always reassuring when things looked grim and we wholeheartedly recommend them for their truly professional service.
