If I could give 10 stars I would. Matthew has been an absolute superstar during our property sale. It’s not been an easy transaction as we had a tricky chain involved but Matt has worked tirelessly including over holidays and days off to get the sale over the line. We were not selling in Chigwell so not in John Thoma’s usual patch but this didn’t matter one bit, Matt got viewers and offers in regardless. Matt was always at the end of the phone when we needed him and has offered sound advice. We had previously tried other local agents but as soon as the going got a bit tricky they lost interest. John Thoma and specifically Matt is the only agent I would use in the future, highly highly recommended. If you are selling in West Essex or even further afield, you’ve just found the best estate agent ever!

I haven't used their services as an estate agent, but I'm not impressed with the incredibly intrusive pictures taken by drone of my property whilst they were trying to sell my neighbours house. I asked John Thoma if they have used a registered CAA pilot enabling them to take aerial photography, but he hasn't had the courtesy to respond. Which makes me suspect the drones are being used illegally. "John Thomas".

I just had to put pen to paper to register how delighted I was to use John Thoma Estate Agent.
John, is a true gentleman, and leads a team by fine example. Matt, is so polite, professional, and a drone pilot any airline would be proud of. What great photos he created.
Holding our keys and taking charge of every prospective buyer was so helpful, and I knew I could even leave the country and the property was always in good hands.
Of course the market took an untimely turn for the worse, unfortunately, but they continued to market it strenuously, knowing there would be a good outcome.
Lewis brilliantly joined the force and the sale was completed.

We were looking to buy a property for last few years in Chigwell, we told John about our budget and our requirements. Like his company name, he provided us bespoke service throughout. He and his team were extremely helpful during the purchase of our property, this was at a time of great uncertainty due to covid. They ensured we were kept informed through-out the process to enable a smooth transition between us and the sellers. Now, we have also rented out one of our property through them, and again John, Mathew and Charlotte all are extremely helpful. Plus a super friendly team! Highly recommended.

When John and Matthew visited to value our property they said that their intention is to give all clients the same high level of service and this proved to be the case.
Matthew dealt with our sale and he showed that he has all the qualities of a good agent: ie sound knowledge of the local residential property market, regularly keeping clients updated on progress etc.
More than this though, we felt that he really cared about us, our sale, and 'went the extra mile' to ensure that our transaction was successful.
