I'm actually a mortgage broker and was acting for the purchaser. I have to say that Romario was very responsive and proactive with anything I needed to help get the purchase over the line. The whole company is actually very diligent and they even contact you at weekends (which I don't mind) as it keeps things moving. I probably get more involved than your average broker as I like to monitor and help the legal teams out where possible. It's amazing how one part of the process, if overlooked, can hold up the entire sale / chain and Romario at Joseph Scotts, like myself, was happy to assist. All good in the end. They’re a bit keen as they urge you to take first offers that come along even though well below what I was wanting. I told them I wanted more even against their advice and I managed to get another £65k more than they originally urged me to accept. As with all estate agents the costs are quite expensive for what they do. Nick was good but I’m sure he and his colleagues are advised by management to get properties sold asap to meet targets.
