I cannot recommend Keylocks highly enough. They have provided us with an absolutely superb professional service. We commissioned John Johnstone to carry out a Level 3 RICS HomeBuyer survey on an old and rather complicated house we were intending to purchase. Within a day or so of his visit to the property we received a beautifully presented, extremely thorough and obviously very expert report. The report was elegantly written and easy to understand. At our request, John then helped us to obtain quotes for some necessary structural repairs, meeting the contractors on site and explaining the problems. Thanks to his report we are now living very happily in our new home, with a sensible repair plan in place. Many thanks are due to Lorna too for her efficiency in coordinating everything so well, and always being a friendly and reassuring voice on the phone.

Surveys from Keylocks are definitely NOT the type where they cover themselves just in case something is wrong later. It is very thorough, full of meaning and very well communicated. I was very fortunate to have been recommended John Johnstone and I further recommend him and his team on to everyone else. These are what building surveys should be.
