I can only say that my experience with Nigel, Julie and the lock and Key team was excellent. Nigel communicated brilliantly from the first phone call, arranging a visit to provide a valuation. His insight and industry knowledge meant the property was marketed quickly. The pricing was spot on and the advert/marketing of our house was perfect. This can be qualified by the fact it was listed within 24 hrs of meeting Nigel and sold in under 12 hours of the advert and video being posted. Viewings completed by the lovely Julie.
The team are a winning combination and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Should be 6 stars.

I have been very happy with the marketing and selling experience since choosing Lock & Key as the preferred estate agent to sell our house. Nigel and Julie are very proactive and continually update me with the latest developments during the conveyancing journey. I was particularly impressed with Nigel's advice and guidance with a slighly tricky issue that resulted in the correct decision leading to a speedy new replacement buyer replacing the original one. I would recommend anyone thinking of buying or selling a property within the Melksham/Wiltshire area to give them the first call when starting to engage with Estate Agents to sell your property.

We selected Nigel at Lock & Key to sell father in laws house after meeting a number of local agents.
He stood out as both enthusiastic and knowledgable .
Nigel and his team didn’t let us down and introduced nine potential buyers and we were able to agree a sale within 10 days
The team at lock & key followed through with the sale process keeping both us and the buyer fully informed until the successful sale was completed.
We would have no hesitation in recommending anyone who wishes to buy or sell in the Melksham area to use Lock & Key , they did a great job for us in a difficult market.

Having had an unsatisfactory experience with a previous estate agent Nigel Fitzgerald of Lock & Key contacted us and swiftly swung into action. Our house went on the market within 24 hours of his visit. The brocure details expanded fully on areas and aspects of the property previously poorly covered. The result was a stedy stream of viewings and sale within a week.
All staff at Lock & Key are caring and helpful. Nigel kept us fully up to date on progress and was ready allways with sound advice on any perceived problem large or small, keeping us fully updated with progress towards exchange.
We highly recommend Lock & Key to anyone considering a property sale.

If I had a chance I would put 0 stars. I viewed a property and advised I would be in touch. At 8:45AM the next day Nigel called me! Whilst I was getting ready I asked my partner to talk to him. I witnessed and took part in the whole conversation. Nigel claimed my partner was rude to him. This was not true. Nigel seems like a big child and a bully. I cannot understand why he spoke to us in that manner. The property is still on the market and I would have put an offer in to purchase it. Stay away. This guy is extremely unprofessional. For his rudeness he’s lost a sale.

We have experienced Lock and Key both as purchasers and as sellers - Nigel and the whole team are nothing but professional. Their local knowledge is second to none, they are both reactive and proactive, always there when you need them, able to offer great advice; and above all act with integrity and in their client’s best interests at all times.

Don’t deal with Nige unless you’re willing to be disappointed. In my opinion he is rude, unprofessional and not interested in helping you unless it benefits him. Of course I might be wrong, but judging from what I have subsequently heard, I’m probably not.
On the other hand, his assistant Julie is great. She is professional and friendly, so it’s not all bad.

First class communication and customer service. As first time buyers, everything was very daunting and Julie and Nigel made it smooth, easy and more exciting than apprehensive. I cannot thank you enough! We were always contacted and kept in the loop about progress, next steps etc. Even when seller was slightly delayed we were informed and things were soon rolling again. We’ve had to deal with a lot of estate agents in the last 2 years and we’ve had some awful ones who just didn’t care about selling us the houses we viewed, but this team 100% show commitment and passion for what they do.
So thank you ???? best estate agent around!
