I never normally write reviews but in this particular instance I thought Richard and Toni at Lowthers Estate agents fully deserve to be recognised for their tremendous efforts during the sale of my property. Upon completion we soon realised that we had been dealing with each other for approximately 12 months following 3 different buyers due to a range of different issues along with the ever changing dynamics of the housing market. However despite all this, Lowthers remained thoroughly professional, committed and adaptive with their approach throughout the entire process always making me feel up to date and comfortable. I honestly believe most agents would have given up but they remained confident with the task which ended with a great result. I will definitely be using Lowthers in the future when I decide to sell my next property and would recommend to anyone thinking of doing the same.

I recently used Lowthers Estate agents for the sale and purchase of my new property. I was at first concerned that they were not local to my area, but I need not have worried. They are a small friendly and extremely professional company and made, what is normally a very stressful process, very easy and seamless. I cannot recommend Lowthers enough. We dealt with Richard during the sale of our property, who from the outset was friendly, professional and clearly very experienced. Richard sold our house after the first viewing getting us a really good price in the process, considerably more than one agent had said we would get!
It was actually after the sale however where I became so impressed. Above and beyond are certainly the words! Having secured the sale, Richard didn’t go quiet like I have heard other agents can do. He consistently kept in touch with updates and acting as a go between to keep things moving, all along offering advice and sharing his expertise. Not only this, but Richard was also incredibly helpful in our search for an onward purchase. Taking the time to call round and help look through available properties as well as those that had been taken off the market.
Our onward purchase ended up taking quite a long time due to one falling through, but Richard remained in touch throughout and was always happy to take the time to explain things, offer guidance and even call or email solicitors or agents if we wanted. I will certainly be using Lowthers again should I need to in the future and would strongly encourage friends and family to do the same.

Lowthers are owned by a fabulous, professional couple. I love that its a family run business. Lowthers were not my family members estate agents but the sellers. I was assisting my family member with the process and I can honestly say that through this very difficult process they supported us, kept us updated, acted promptly...I cannot praise them enough. When there were issues they swiftly got involved to assist with the sell/buy which I believe helped the whole process and put our minds at ease.
Even on the day of completion they were absolutely amazing...They ARE absolutely amazing. I would definitely recommend them.
Thank you both for all your assistance again. I hope your company continues to flourish, I wish there were more estate agents out there like yours.

Owing to the market last year being a bit slow, it took a while for my flat to sell, but this great team of people kept up the viewings on a regular basis, with help and advice on how best I could present my flat. They undertook all of the viewings, being flexible and accommodating times and dates to fit in with me, nothing was too much effort for them. After being messed around for months on end with other agents in the local area, we had an extremely pleasent and wonderful experience buying our first family home through Lowthers estates, from negotiation to completion everything was honest swift and very informative, especially as this transaction was time sensitive. Richard and his Wife went out of there way to make sure our purchase was successful, They went the extra mile helping with conveyancing and mortgage advice, and always a phone call away everyday. We can not thank them enough as we received the keys to our new home today with the added bonus of a bouquet of flowers and a card. I would highly recommend this agency over some of the bigger more well known companies out there that do not need your business and will not give you a truly personal service.

Lowthers Estate Agents are the best estate agents I have ever used. In the past I have always found Buying/selling my house can be quite daunting and scary but not with Lowthers. They are genuine, decent and honest. Right from the first contact with them I could tell I could trust them. They are very knowledgable and experienced in what they do. They obtained the asking price on my property and put in 100% to get it. Nothing is too much trouble, I was updated every step of the process. I would never use a different estate agents. It is so refreshing to find an estate agents you can trust, it was a massive weight lifted off my shoulders at a difficult time. So pleased I found them.
