We instructed Chris at Mapp and Weston several years ago to sell our property. He sifted through prospective buyers so as not to waste our time and we only ended up having about 3 people look round. He found the perfect reliable buyer for it quickly. We couldn't however find anywhere to move to until last summer. Chris has remained extremely patient and generous with his time throughout the whole process. Once we finally found a property, he has been the key person proactively managing the chain and communication between everyone, following up with the progress, helping to find solutions to any issues that have arisen and importantly played a key role in managing our stress levels and keeping us calm and encouraging good relationships with others in the chain. We finally completed last week. Throughout the process he has rapidly responded to all our communication...even if its weekends or evenings and in our view has truly gone above and beyond. We cannot recommend him highly enough.

It is no coincidence that Chris has been an Estate Agent for as long as he has. He shows a great passion for the job and easily demonstrates this in his enviable ability to offer excellent customer service. He really cares about people and this comment is not unfounded but corroborated by other estate agents and many, many customers who see Chris as a leading expert in his field. Chris is actually one of the few true gentlemen left in the world of estate agency. He maintains his professional self whether helping first time buyers, last time buyers and the millionaires of this world. Chris was extremely easy to talk to with great communication skills. He’s very approachable with a good sense of humour which I think all of the above is very important in an agent. Being independent he was very professional and driven to close the sale and extremely proactive. He was extremely helpful when I was being indecisive and offered lots of practical advice. He valued my property fairly to sell and I can’t fault the service this family business had to offer so I’m very happy to recommend.

Chris helped us sell our last house. He went above and beyond the usual commitment given by an estate agent. He showed everyone around personally, got back to potential buyers quickly, he was very proactive. We had a few difficulties to overcome with the sale, he stepped in and helped at every point. Without him the sale would never have gone through. We would only ever use Mapp & Weston again in the future. We recommended him without hesitation.

We have used Mapp & Weston as our property manager for the last four years and found their service and responsiveness to be of an acceptable standard. More recently we engaged Mapp & Weston, (Chris Skelton), as agent for the sale of the property and my wife and I found the standard of service and personal attention we received from Chris could not be faulted. Before the sale process was completed we left UK and Chris kept us up to date with progress, visited the house regularly and generally kept an eye on things for us.
