Worst agency I've ever been to, never on the side of tenants, regardless of what happened. Charging astronomical amount of money if something needs cleaning/fixing. Always siding with landlords to get their properties fixed at tenants' costs and worst of all they're all acting there like nice people who are trying to help and then they send you rude emails in return, stay away from these lot!

Used Martin and Co for over 5 years .Great service, very professional great staff especially Gina and Nick .Even during the pandemic constantly updated .They sourced great tenants no issues at all .Definitely use them again in the future .

As a landlord, Martin and Co (Steve Chadwick) have been brilliant. Looking after the tenant, the landlord and the property. Handling the odd difficult situation efficiently and always with a good outcome. But due to the very good vetting process, problems are very few and far between. Tenants love them too as they organise things quickly, cost effectively and considerately. 100%.

Martin and Co in Nuneaton offer a great service. I use them as a letting agent for a number of properties and I find them helpful, courteous and professional in both the Nuneaton and Hickley offices.
From both the landlord and tenant perspective, they offer a responsive service to ensure both parties are happy and satisfied. I would highly recommend them.

No assurance for the deposit. They loot money from us because of their faults. The inventory was not updated before renting. Stay away from this agency.

If you are a student, steer away!!!
Me and my friends used this agency for 2 years from 2017 to 2019 before we moved out. They were based in Coventry before they moved to Nuneaton. I remember they had a 2 or 3 star rating on Google and were doing a promotion with wine bottles if you could give them a good rating. Should have been a major red flag!
Let me start with the good part, the people that work here are mostly nice and polite.
And now the bad part, or parts.
This agency does not know how to manage their finances. I dont know what they are doing but I remember at some point they overcharged our account with like 2 grand over what we were supposed to pay. Imagine my shock and horror as a student working part time, finding out that we were forced to pay over 2 grand. I spent at least weeks, even months if I remember correctly, trying to convince them that we paid everything we needed to pay. I asked for the records of the payments and literally made a graph to show them that they were wrong. It took a long time before they admitted they were wrong. I dont know if this was pure malevolence, carelessness or just sheer incompetence on their part. I want to think it was just carelessness. This sort of issue did not happen once but twice.
When they moved to Nuneaton they changed accounts as well. I knew this, but by mistake I paid my rent it in the old one as I always did. They notified me and asked me to pay again in their new account and I did. They said it would take some time but I would get my money from the old account back at some point during liquidation. Fine, stuff like this happens. So I waited. Guess what, nothing happened. I emailed them again and they said that I just have to take it up with my bank. My bank said they cant do anything and I have to speak with the account holder. Yeah, right... In the end I just gave up and moved on with life. 195£ I will never see again.
When I left they charged us for the cleaning and took it out of our deposit which was understandable. The thing that infuriated me is that the landlord charged us 50£ for SIMPLY BEING AT THE PROPERTY during the cleaning. I spoke to a department of Coventry University that deals with this kind of stuff after and they said that something like that is ridiculous and should not have happened. I accepted it though as I was tired of dealing with them. The agency did nothing, obviously.
My advice? Just steer away, take your business elsewhere.

Martin & Co estate agents (Nuneaton) made the sale of my Mother in Laws house quick and easy. Although the legal process took some time, the sale, communication, information and completion all went swimmingly. All the staff we dealt with were polite and informative. They kept us up to speed and very professional. Thank you all. Should we need Estate agents services in the future, we will be in touch

The staff at Martin & Co Nuneaton are always professional and friendly. I rely on them to advise me on property matters, both sales and lettings. They are fully qualified with the property professional bodies, when so many agents are not nowadays. I recommend Martin & Co without any hesitation.

Just seen the review below and I just had to correct it. The carpet needed cleaning because there was a huge stain on the lounge carpet, which I managed to remove successfully. The charge was for £125 which is a standard price for a professional clean. The oven was also cleaned, and I have to say that in over 20 years in the business, it was the worst one I’ve cleaned. Martin & Co don’t charge me for a kick back and are a very professional business. The review below I felt was very unfair.
