Nick, Paul and the team came to our aid after a frustrating experience in selling our property with another agent. Nick's personal approach, understanding us and our needs to match with prospective buyers was hugely appreciated. This, coupled with their expert understanding of the area and the market guided us to our sale and enabled our family to move on to exactly what we needed.

Not professional with vulnerable tenants with learning difficulties that could do with 1 to 1 support and struggle to figure out general new routine at their new address
Numerous flat faults that have gone ignored besides fake promises to sort a filthy oven that no one could be bothered to clean when I moved In. Faulty communal door latch that I have been conveniently blamed for besides being advised by my family to just be grateful I have a set of keys and a flat and not complain so I listened not only that but having half my complaints laughed off prior of various preventable noise pollution and house parties til 4am, scaffolders playing music up full blast and yelling before 6am while I tried to hold down a job scrubbing loos by 7am and cleaning restaurants and washing plates and chopping food for hours trying to impress an already rude boss. I lost my job because of all the continuous noise and ignorant neighbours making great effort to heavy foot on my ceiling 24 hours a day even at 2 am 3 am it’s an every day occurrence and I have multiple sound recordings of such incidents
I’ve had fake complaints that police have showed up at my door yet to this date I’ve neither been visited questioned or arrested for simply being lucky enough to bump into my two faced neighbours to make them aware I’ve always been kind and approachable only bothered by the endless noise
I’ve never denied them the opportunity to knock my door or text me or tell me I’m bothering them in any way but they don’t talk to me and say I’m unapproachable make complaints and pass me off as possibly a risk to them and I may have argued a tad pissed off at the rumor spreading but I’m no thug or interested in attacking my neighbours
I’ve received no text message or world of mouth instruction to not talk to them so there is no harassment case or broken law here as I have not been told to leave them alone at any stage. I don’t believe police have or ever will be turning up at my flat considering I have a pcso coward living upstairs who could easily nick me on or off duty if I breached any law of any kind
Grow up ed wyngriffiths and grow a pair . The difference is I have the guts to talk to you while you sulk on the door step hoping I don’t dob in your illicit activities upstairs to Waverley borough council that provide you a car and job in policing
Well eventually after your final back stab… I did and I’m not ashamed of it. You’ve cost my job and my home so why shouldn’t I want some justice myself
They walk around so loud my walls and bath shake when I lie in it or sit at the table or on the loo I can feel them walking around and the noise is extremely repetitive all day and very distressing for me setting off my anxiety and causing insomnia which I have been diagnosed with
But this is all before what masella have gone to court for
I’ll just leave this here as it clearly upsets them to hear the truth. They don’t want to see my face and they’re still housing me for 2 months
Cowardly behaviour. They don’t respect my money or the lengths I’ve tried to go to to make this place feel like home
I’ve got a coke sniffing pcso that lives above me that can make as much noise as he wants and play loud music and jump on my ceiling and no one wants to believe me because of his job title
It’s ok . Police officers haven’t ever lost their jobs for drugs or misconduct or fraud or failing the vulnerable or the countless other things have they. And I respect the police
As long as he’s bringing in money you live in cuckoo land quite happily
I won’t respect a self confessed traveller pikey druggie backstabbing fake friend house partying ceiling jumping alcoholic two faced cop!
Some reviews from other people with much the same problems as me zero support not even a telephone call just constant sudden shock to find I’m being evicted for being vulnerable and putting up with too much noise that I paid good money to try and avoid experiencing on a council estate!

I have used Masella Coupe for both letting and selling a property. On the selling front I would highly recommend Nick.We had a very prolonged (one year) and complicated sale, with 4 different buyers and 2 last minute collapses. Nick has been a great advocate for us, tireless in finding new buyers and hand holding when things got tough. He really has been a rock, so highly recommended. On the lettings front Jilly and her team have been great, responsive and efficient. Again highly recommended.

My son and his girlfriend have had the most horrendous experience using this letting agent. Half of last year was spent trying to get a serious problem fixed in their flat; the most disgusting smell and serious mold that was easily sorted once they actually took the time and trouble to send someone round to fix the cause.
Their deposit was also not returned in full with money deducted on some spurious accusation of the flat not being left clean. They were also charged for the cost of allegedly having to employ a cleaning agency which was a downright lie. They spent three days cleaning their flat from top to bottom before they moved out!!!
There's more but, quite frankly, I'm getting depressed writing this.
Why not just do your job properly and get some satisfaction out of your work? Who is managing and regulating you? Peoples' lives and health are being affected by this incompetent outfit.

We rented a property through this company, and I would strongly advise any tenants to avoid using Masella Coupe and their lettings property management team.
Over the course of our tenancy, we had countless interactions with Gilli Dyer (Property Manager) who was unable to answer, respond and pass over basic information in time on a regular basis. As an example, it took her 6 months to personally carry out an inspection on a mouldy, damp cupboard that we were persistently trying to resolve. This resulted in a contractor arriving to the property and immediately finding the cause of the problem which turned out to be a leak from a pipe running through the cupboard containing waste water from the flats upstairs.
No apology, or monetary reimbursement was made from Gilli or Masella Coupe regardless of the numerous days we had to book off work to cover the works needed on the flat.
It seems Masella Coupe and Gilli Dyer are keen to make sure the landlord has a positive outcome despite their own shortfalls in providing a stable and reliable lettings service in which decisions are made fairly and with an ounce of common sense, resulting in us tenants living in a health hazard for 6 months.
Leading to our end of tenancy with them, to which they did not take the previous experience into account and allowed the landlord to draw out releasing the deposit via the DPS until almost 4 months later.
From other reviews on Google, it shows their sales team is well equipped to deal with selling properties and assisting customers through this process, however it shows some basic customer service and communication training needs to be carried out on the lettings side of the business.

I strongly advise against using this letting agent. We complained for months about a foul smell coming from a cupboard which was so wet that the wood floor was disintegrating. Despite numerous contractors visiting, which required us to take time off work, it took months for them to find that the issue was waste water from neighboring flats leaking into ours.
For over six months, we were forced to live in sewage water without any apology or financial reimbursement. When we finally moved out, our landlord took months to respond regarding our deposit, and when they did, they deducted every possible expense, and we had no support from the letting agent.
It's evident that their lettings team will go to great lengths to lure you into renting a property, but once you're in, they couldn't care less about your well-being. They are solely focused on servicing the landlord's interests, with no regard for the tenants' welfare.
Save yourself the trouble and avoid this letting agent at all costs.

Disgusting customer service.... Masella coupe are unfit to look after their clients and go about by being deceitful and lying to customers.
Properties are listed, which are unfit for habitation with mould and many other defects. Certain properties have been inspected by outside authorities and the reports come back to say this.. Therefore evident that my comments are true.
I highly recommend to give these cowboys a wide birth and chose another firm.

Unorganised. Took a long time to solve issues in the property we were renting. Charged us extra upon checkout for mould in the property despite us notifying them previously and it being an internal problem with the property itself. Our landlord changed estate agents at the end of our tenancy most likely for the same reasons.

Do not use MC (Marcla Coup) at ALL costs. I moved into my flat in Febuary 2017 .After months of issues regarding the property inc dangerous electrics with sockets and light fittings hanging off the wall, you could get your fingers behind, I had a qualified electrician to do a safety test and he condemned it. I sent the test to MC, it was ignored. Bad mould from condensation, on the walls, windows woukd be dripping withwater. I got chest infection from the damp, windows painted shut, so no fire escape, again against the law, the extractor fan in bathroom started to blow put toxic smoke, then took 3x months to get a replacment that I was expected to fit, washing machine that was broken, sink leaking... again I had to organise and fix, the list goes on. Then the Landlord changed bank accounts, so I got the blame for no rent being paid. I had requested urgent action to be taken, but ignored. Then I was sent a letter requesting for me to move, I had major surgery due, plus vacating the property was requested before it was legally ok to do so. After having to explain to MC the laws surrounding vacating the property, theor duty of care towards a tennant, they eventually sent a letter agreeing to the move date to be at the end of July. I had varied reasons from MC as to the reason for requesting the flat back, all differant. The issues still have not been rectified. As a family we have been in construction and property managment in Godalming, my family has lived in Godalming for 6-8 generations, we have been building in and around Godalming for over 60 yrs and never seen anything like it. Seems like and utter arrogance towards the tennant. No regard towards the welfare of the tennant, the fact that I had major surgery, no offer to rehouse me. No support. Talking to other persons who have dealt with MC its the same. They would never want to deal with MC ever. Google the company, you can see for yourself Shocking. How does this company still exist! Walk away.

Horrendous. If you are a tenant or a landlord who cares about their tenants wellbeing then you will steer clear of this horrible letting agency. They are unorganized (never sent us a check in report or deposit info) and rude. Watch their contracts! With all the options you have, avoid!!

By far the most disorganised and incompetent company I have ever come across. I started renting a property in December 2014 and when I moved out in May 2016 nothing had been done properly. They installed a washing but only half of it and after calling at least once a week for the duration of my tenancy nothing still got done. You can email and call for weeks if not months with no response. Would not go near with a barge pole, what you have read in the news about this company really does give you in an insight into how they work.
