What a refreshing experience! The team was excellent throughout our buying process. From the beginning, they were very proactive in addressing our requirements. The viewing team was personalized, thoughtful, and caring in their approach. I was particularly impressed with Adam Orrell, who stood out among all the agents in Godalming. He was proactive, engaging, and had clearly developed a great relationship with both buyers and sellers, which facilitated a smooth transaction, even during the challenging moments of the conveyancing process. Adam Orrell and the B&W (Curchods) team were an absolute pleasure to work with and we could not recommend them highly enough. Adam showed tremendous patience and diligence in helping us get a very challenging transaction over the line and he worked incredibly hard to manage everyone’s expectations in the chain and constantly keep us all updated, despite various stressful situations. Pretty abysmal. Lied about a property and had I not found out the facts myself would never have told me. Would avoid.
Edited to add - I have spoken to you numerous times about this including with your head office. I note I failed to receive an apology from the branch itself or an explanation for their dubious behaviour. I’ve had some dealings with estate agents over the years and thought I’d seen it all but dealing with Burns and Webber has been the worst. And that’s really saying something.

Let down by staff who seem to think skipping a few corners is okay. Lost me a good buyer who wrote to tell me what happened after they were lied to by several members of staff. Would avoid next time.
Edit. No this is definitely for Adam at burns and Webber and whoever the useless woman at head office at Curchods was who said she’d help but didn’t bother. Perhaps your record keeping is as abysmal as your customer service.

We recently bought our first house with Burns & Webber and we dealt with Alice (who has now moved branch), Mille and Jonathan and all three were fantastic! Really fast to respond, helpful and quick to relay information from us to the seller making the sale super quick and without issue. I wouldn't hesitate to use Burns & Webber again, either as a buyer or seller!
