Back in 2022 we had a number of estate agents provide a valuation for our home, Matt Fern being one of them from McCarthy Holden, immediately his professionalism, knowledge and experience stood out head and shoulders above everyone else, it wasn't until June 2024 we found a house we wanted to move to, we didn't even contact any other estate agents as the experience with Matt and the sales approach McCarthy Holden provide was exactly what we were looking for and what we felt our home sale deserved.
This was the best decision we could have hoped for, from the moment we contacted Matt to instruct, everything went smoothly. Amalia and Matt worked together to get to know the house, us and how we wanted to sell it. The photos were taken and looked great, Amalia and Matt worked with us to get sign off of the descriptions and choose the best photos. The house launched to some early pre market viewings followed by raft of interested people. Within a week we'd 3 serious proceedable buyers who made final offers and from there it was sold to a lovely family.
We are due to complete at the end of October and from start to finish we couldn't fault a moment of the process, Matt and Amalia kept us informed through calls, emails and WhatsApp so we were never ever wondering what was happening or if there were any problems. As a chain of 5 there is a lot to juggle but again the McCarthy Holden team managed everything seamlessly.
It feels rare to receive such professional, friendly and genuine service from companies these days, but the team show just how invaluable a great estate agent is when buying and selling your home.
If you're looking to sell your home we feel speaking to Matt, Amalia and the McCarthy Holden team will be the best decision you make, but instructing them will make you're life much easier and less stressful, they really do stand head and shoulders above their industry peers.

An enormous thank you to everyone at McCarthy Holden Fleet -almost all of the team had a hand in helping us secure our 'grown up' house! From the outset Matt and Amalia sprang into action once we'd viewed a house for sale, getting our current home on the market within 1 working day so that offers came in (and our offer accepted) within 3 working days! Amalia was there throughout to support with queries in the sale progression (going above and beyond to work on a bank holiday for a second viewing!), then David's expertise and experience came into play after offers were accepted to ensure we were on track with exchange and completion. The team were friendly, responsive, attentive, supportive and proactive, and were very genuine compared to other estate agents we had dealt with in the past. Staff seem nice, but never call back for viewings on a property. This is the third time I have enquired about properties one hour within it going up, have been told viewings open the next week and I will be contacted, only to never be contacted. When I call back, I'm told the same story of "oh we will contact you" but never get a call, only to call again and be told someone has already put offers down. I've missed out on three properties that were great for me due to zero communication.

I was particularly impressed by the experience and local knowledge of the agent (Richard) . Marketing publicity is outsourced to a dedicated professional, marketing media was of good quality and properly represented the features of the property.
The sale was eventually completed given the challenges of the pandemic which impacted other parts of the chain. I was therefore obliged to accept a reduced, but reasonable offer in the circumstances.

Sold my house with McCarthy Holden last year and had a great experience. When they came to value I was advised my house would likely sell in 2 weeks - which turned out to be true. I always received good communication about who was coming to view, and informed about their situation (e.g. first time buyers). From the outset McCarthy Holden have been superb, details were promptly and accurately posted, we were kept up to date with all bookings and post booking feedback.All the staff were able to check on queries and when the person you wanted wasn’t available they always called back as promised.
The property was empty but they visited the property every week to check all was ok.
As mentioned earlier all the staff were superb but special mention for Pedro ( negotiator) and David ( post exchange chaser) who we felt went the extra mile .
Should we need the services of an estate agent in the future would certainly engage McCarthy Holden

I very recently completed on my house sale (a property on Elvetham Heath in Fleet). I can honestly say McCarthy Holden gave perfect advice and managed the whole process exceptionally well.
I originally requested rental and sale valuations back in April (2017). McCarthy Holden being happy and able to do so during the same appointment. The valuations were conducted by Julie Brooks-McGoldrick (Lettings) and Richard Ebsworth (Sales), both extremely helpful and professional throughout.
At that stage, I was undecided whether to rent out or sell the property. Therefore, I explained to both Julie and Richard that I would need at least 6-8 weeks to consider my options. I therefore made a polite request that upon receipt of their valuations, I did not wish to be contacted or put under pressure to make a decision - a request that was completely adhered to and ultimately made my decision to market the property with McCarthy Holden.
Upon instructing McCarthy Holden to sell the property, Richard handled the production of the sales particulars and advertising/marketing with ease. Soon after, the viewings started coming through with viewing appointment emails making everything very easy to arrange. Feedback was also given shortly (a day or so) after each viewing.
After a sensible number of viewings, Victoria Davies (Fleet Residential Sales) found suitable buyers and a sale was arranged.
From this point on, David Starling (Sales Progression) progressed the sale through to Exchange and Completion with regular informative updates - all very much appreciated.
In summary, Richard and the whole team have honestly made the whole process completely and utterly pain free. I really cannot thank you all enough - you've all done a fantastic job!
Having had the above experience, I give McCarthy Holden my full permission to use this review as testament to their professionalism and outstanding level of service from start to finish. I recently sold a property in Fleet through Ben Murphy and his team. The service was excellent from beginning to end. At the first appointment Ben arrived smartly dressed and very well equipped with marketing tools and information that really stood him out from other competitors I saw.
The sales team had several viewings before the property went on the internet and I had a buyer within two weeks. I also liked that they have a separate after-sales manager, David Starling, who updated me throughout the process until the exchange day.
