I really can’t praise everyone at Mike Vincent’s enough. I have had some very difficult problems to deal with this year and have needed a lot of support and advice with regard to the management, upkeep and sale of various properties.
I don’t know what I would have done without each team member’s expertise, experience and practical knowledge as well as the friendly manner in which it was given.

We moved from West Sussex to Clacton and used MVS through the purchase of our new property. We mainly really with David Gees, although Ian Hunter initially showed us the property on the first viewing.
MVS were reliable and frequent with updates throughout the purchase process and they were always on hand when we had questions.
When we had questions about the property, they were always very quick at getting answers from the sellers!
Not that we want to move again, but if we did, I would not hesitate to use them again and I would recommend them to anyone else looking for an estate agent in the Clacton area!

Recently sold a flat through Mike Vincent and dealt with David GEES. David quickly found us a buyer but when this sale fell through, he immediately re-advertised the property and secured us a new purchaser and all went though smoothly. David was great at keeping us up to date with the sale and although we are quite demanding clients, he listens and understands what we need from him. He has great contacts and works well with local solicitors which helps to speed up the process. His advice is always first class and we trust him to provide us with a great service.

I would strongly AVOID. We had bad experiences with this agent. My Mum & her ex husband had to eventually sell their home after a very difficult separation. A few months before completion I'd been admitted to hospital. Upon my arrival back; my Mum informed me that whilst I was ill in hospital, Alan, kept calling my Mum using scaremongering tactics about us being made homeless, because we had difficulty finding somewhere to live. I myself, directly had the same experience with Alan over the phone, after coming back from hospital. (which was the last thing I needed) I had then contacted our conveyancing solicitor regarding this ‘homeless’ scenario being spout about by this agent who assured us otherwise. We could have easily & legally pulled out, even at that stage. I also had to ask Ian to stop persistently calling our landline as we needed the phone at all times. Whilst I acknowledge this agent has a job to do, their insensitive behaviour was bordering on desperation. I’ve shared these bad experiences of this agent with others and I’ll continue to do so. Despite it being almost two years since we moved. Agents behaviour towards the end completely unnecessary.

Regarding our recent sale and purchase through Mike Vincent and Sons, Both myself and my wife are so pleased with the service we received during the purchase process, Ian,Alan and their team couldn't do enough to assist us, they were always there at the end of a phone and sorted out any issues very quickly, we would recommend them to anyone looking to sell or buy.
We feel that using a LOCAL estate agent is the way to do it as they have extensive local knowledge and are small enough to really care about their customers, which sometimes can't be said for the national agencies.

We saw a lovely bunglow advertised by Mike Vincent & Son. We made an offer via the agent and it was accepted. Communication between the parties was very good even though they had only recently opened after lock down.
Chris, Ian and all the team kept us up to date with what was happening.
We also took advise from them for our mortgage and which solicitor to use, all in all we were glad that we took their advise as the team all worked very hard to achieve a flawless sale and purchase. I would definitely use them again.

I would also like to mention David Gees; it was because of his great skills in the housing market is why we decided to go with Omega in the beginning. I had chosen three Estate Agents and David was definitely the nicest to deal with; I was proved right as the house sold within the first two weeks; the rest of the team at Omega are also very helpful. If one isn't available another staff member picks up whatever you need them to do.
Overall a smashing firm of Estate Agents and I would definitely recommend them.

I had the fortune of having David handle the purchase of our new home. He was brilliant. When the end of tenancy inspection wasn't completed by the other Estate agent which would have delayed the exchanging of contracts, David managed to get a set of keys and let us inspect the property ourselves. In doing so we were able to exchange and then complete as planned.
All the other staff I spoke with were helpful. If they didn't know the answer to my question, they would arrange for David to contact me with the answer.

I fell over on the forecourt of Beatrice court in 20ll and after a M R I scan my hip and knee was done in and £5600 paid out by insurance companie and Mr Hart landlord at the time was told to renew the forecourt
In 2015 then 2016 I had knee replacements then had to have my right knee replacement taken out and another knee replacement put in going right down to my foot and right up my thigh so no more replacement just amputation.When omega took over management in 2015/16 it was now known that the forecourt needed redoing so it in his wisdom that a forecourt fund was set up for 3 years making it 2020 9 years after my accident and a danger that I would end up having a leg amputated as it was a dangerous forecourt.Ian Hunter made it very stressful for me because the lady in the other flat wanted to smoke 3 packets of cigarettes a day which was approximately 80%of her pension when I was disabled and when it rained stood in up to half an inch of water on the forecourt and thought more of a woman whose smoking will put a strain on the N H S with all the illness associated with smoking.I felt I was discrimated against for being disabled. Omega no longer manage Beatrice court as they made me frustrated with them and I acted in away any body would have if in the same situation I was put under.Ian Hunter goes managing properties and that gets one star rating and his staff whom sell properties gets five.The worse bit of concrete has all 3 cars go over the next flats concrete has 2 cars and the last flat has just 1.Mr Hunter tells me he's seen me breaking up concrete with a 2kg club hammer,this was only used to remove cracked concrete where cars have run over and a 2lb club hammer would not make an impression on solid concrete. Being a ex builder before being disabled one can see a layer of 2 /3 inches of concrete been put on top of inferior concrete therefore that will crack.Mr Hunter is defending himself for a decision against a disabled person!

Their rental side is so unprofessional team you will ever find. Do not trust them with your property.
The tenant trashed my house and omega did nothing about it. They even managed to loose the deposit back to the tenant who they found a new lease for her.
Some poor landlord now been dumped with a tenant from hell. Omega just count the money they make and don't look after your interest.

I really don't believe the reviews are genuine on this page.
I have had nothing but trouble with the lettings team, I find them to be totally useless, Alan in particular is dreadful at his job and Steven is very rude.
if you want to let out a property I suggest you use a reputable lettings agent, because Omega is not one to trust, you will have nothing but trouble.
