The Milburys team in Wotton-under-Edge has provided an excellent service right through from house viewings to completion on my new home. Being part of a long chain, my move has been quite complex and I'm not sure that it would have happened at all without the consistent support of Rachel and Claire at Milburys. They have been so proactive in communicating with the solicitors from top to bottom of the chain and keeping me updated on issues and their resolution. A shout-out to Owen at the Wotton-under-Edge branch of Milburys. He took us around a property on a viewing and what impressed us was that he arrived early to put the lights on to show the house in its best aspect, he was very knowledgeable and honest and the following day, he phoned to check for feedback. The makings of a good agent (and as we are both retired chartered surveyors, we know these things...). An excellent service. When we have a house to sell, we would use him.

We chose to go local with Milburys in Wotton under Edge as we were living a long way away from the house we were selling, and also because they offered us the best deal. Whilst we did have a small hiccup with our first sale attempt, when this fell through they were quick to remarket, and set up new viewings within the next few days from which we secured our sale. They responded well to our needs and it was good to know that someone was also keeping an eye on the house whilst it was empty. Paige kept in contact with us at every stage, and was a pleasure to deal with.

Then I enlisted the help of Milburys, who made the whole process straightforward.
Simon F, was my agent and I could not be happier with the service I have received so far. Great communicator and throughly knowledgeable about the latest and future legislation requirements.

In a situation where I needed to quickly find a private property to rent for a medium term let and was very lucky and thankful to find Milburys. All of the staff i dealt with were friendly and professional, from the staff that arranged viewings, those that always met me on time and provided great additional info for both the property and local area, to the back office staff that handled the contractual side in a very easy and efficient way. All in all, what can often be a very stressful time was made much better thanks to this great local agent and if I am ever in a similar situation again they will be my first call.
To add, following my experience with Millburys, I recommended them to a good friend of mine who was looking to sell her house. She has sent me many messages of thanks for the recommendation having found them brilliant to deal with and getting a quick and easy sale that was also stress free.

After an initial reasonable experience with a viewing the admin fell apart as the whole lettings team seemed to go on holiday. Their attitude to tenants is appalling. The assumption appears to be that we are all the scum of the earth. On the rare occasion an email or call was returned it was from someone who patently couldn't care less. The information provided was about the wrong address on at least one point, which has cost me money. Agnes tried hard to help and was pleasant to deal with. No one else could care less. When I went into their office to deal with some paperwork, the attitude when it was discovered I was a tenant and not someone important shifted to the frosty. Thankfully they don't manage the property I am renting. The landlords are lovely, but if I come to buy in the area I won't touch anything related to Milburys. My advice is pick anyone else to rent through.

Appalling. We made an offer on a property via Paige at Millbury's. We were told the seller was looking to move quickly. Having had offer accepted I employed a solicitor who discovered that the property was not freehold and that a monthly maintenance fee was payable. Neither was disclosed by Paige prior to our offer. The buyers then confirmed they were going ahead on a new build which was 6 months away from completion. Overall Paige was uncommunicative, unprofessional and cost us several hundred pounds. We would not recommend this person or estate agent.

I feel sorry for home owners who try to sell via these Estate Agents because they just do not call prospective purchaser's back, not even a courtesy call to say no viewings available. I called three times over a week to view a property and sent an email with no reply. The 4th time I called the phone was answered only to be told the souse had sold. Annoying to say the least as I am a cash buyer. Not impressed!

I absolutely would never sell through this agent. We are buyers sat in rented having sold our houses in order to be able to complete a purchase. Our deposit is over 50 percent and we are still not able to get a viewing. We want to try and buy this house and can't. I imagine this happens with every house brought to market with this agent. Terrible for us and for sellers trying to achieve the best price!

Paige came out to value our property during lockdown last year and was just so lovely and professional and genuinely interested in our home .
We actually decided not to sell our property in the end but even when I called her back up a month ago to help us with another matter she could not do enough to help even though she knew it would not result in a sale .
If we were ever needing an estate agent in the future there is no doubt we would be calling Paige Allen.

I had a property that was a fully managed rental through Milburys. This was a good service choice for us as we were not located near the property. Milbury's took good care of the property, all maintenance bills were fair and good VfM. I would highly recommend this service.
The property was then placed onto the market and again Milbury's dealt with the entire process from finding a suitable buyer, negotiating the sale price through to completion. The sales team (Paige - Wotton) kept us fully informed from viewings feedback to the completion date of all that was going on. Paige even went the extra mile and worked with our solicitor and the buyer.
I would not hesitate to use Milbury's again for either a rental or sale.

Their poor communication and lack of support made our house-buying process extremely stressful. A number of things happened that we weren't happy with so we wrote a letter of complaint explaining. Not only did they take several months to respond, but they evidently hadn't taken our letter seriously as it was very dismissive.
