Throughout this time David James were nothing but professional, incredibly knowledgable- more so than the conveyancers and the estate agents we were paying! Throughout the whole process with David James the experience has been 5 star. The initial viewings were conducted in an extremely professional way with a breadth of knowledge of the property and patience to allow us to ask multiple questions.
Following our offer and the process being handled by Sally, she has provided professional and friendly support, incredible understanding of the process and at multiple times it felt she was controlling the whole chain to get to completion. When she was not available Christina was very supportive and knew the exact details of where we were in the process demonstrating excellent teamwork. At points I feel I would have lost the plot without their support and advice. I have already recommended David James to multiple friends.

Constantly ignores phone calls , they say they will get back to you and never do & same with emails.
Dealt with many estate agents but these are by far the worst by a long stretch I have ever tried to communicate with.
Unprofessional and disappointing service is a understatement.
Update: The fact they made "extensive enquiries" and find no record and calls to their office from my email and phone number is a laughable and just shows how they operate.
There are notable other reviews on here stating the fact their contact is unprofessional and they never respond unless it suites them.

From meeting Christina who valued our house, then Sally and Michael for viewings, negotiation and the sale, the service we received from David James has been excellent, and extremely professional. Selling our parent's house has been very difficult, but we have been guided through the process with sensitivity and professionalism. Communication has been excellent throughout the process, the team have gone out of their way to attend the house in our absence when required, and we were grateful for a good solicitor recommendation which ensured the sale went through smoothly.

Having just sold my home with DJ&P Rennie in Wotton-Under-Edge I can honestly say I have never experienced such professional/expert service in all my house sales. Sally, Christina and the team are nothing short of outstanding. From quote to completion they had kept me fully updated throughout, despite issues with the bottom of the chain and no fault of ours or theirs, they were totally transparent with us and went way and above to ensure exchange and completion happened. I chose DJ&P because they gave the best house value quote amongst 4 other estate agents and true to their word, they achieved exactly what they said they would.
The team, especially Sally , helped me with everything regarding my sale, guided me during a difficult time and ensured that I knew exactly what was happening step by step.

** Fantastic - and we should know!! **
From the moment Sally took our initial enquiry call to the day of completion, she was absolutely fantastic. Courteous, friendly, professional, quick to respond and pragmatic. Nothing was too much trouble; it felt like we were bombarding the office with calls at times and I never felt like we were being a bother.
After an awful 23 months of viewing 60+ properties with multiple estate agencies across the UK and having tried (and failed) to buy 12 of them, Sally was simply a joy to deal with and head an shoulders above any other agent that we dealt with.
Quite simply - she made it easy for us to buy, which meant an easy sale for the vendor. Everyone walked away happy... Other agents could learn a lot from this!
Top job DJ&P.... I'm hoping this is our forever home but, if we ever have to move again, I know who we'll be using!

My experience with DJ&P was exceptional in more ways than I care to think of.
Were it not for Sally and her team I would not now have a roof over my head.
Having walked away from the property twice I had given up on the purchase. There were three people all at odds with each other, two of them being solicitors. Too many egos to deal with.
Sally even rang me on her day off to pour oil on troubled waters.....how many agents would do that !
Her negotiating skills and diplomacy were exemplary. I am indebted.

The lady who came to view the property was late arriving,
Then we had a rushed whizz around the property, she measured nothing, took hardly any notes, in and out in about 15 to 20 minutes. Promised me a Email on value etc.
That was last Friday afternoon. Now Wednesday morning, NO communication what so ever.
