We recently sold our bungalow through Miles and Son and the service we received from both Richard and Alison and all the office staff was excellent. We had a few unfortunate issues relating to prospective purchasers which did mean that our sale took a while to happen but Richard and Alison worked hard to find our eventual buyer. All of the viewings were conducted very professionally and with due consideration to timings etc. I have no hesitation in recommending the services of all the staff at Miles and Son.

Honesty, integrity, reliability, words not often used to describe an estate agent but well deserved in this case.
We have been dealing with Miles & Son for 35 years. It is very reassuring to dip into their vast knowledge of the local market. We buy, sell and rent commercial and domestic properties. Being fair and honest with all parties, is a difficult balancing act but invariably achieved by this firm.
Nicola Stanford heads up the rental department. She is the epitome of efficiency, needless to say an essential quality when navigating the minefield of regulations, that the rental market has become.

I have been impressed by the work of Alison at Miles and Son, Swanage, for her work in selling my deceased mother's flat. Her advice and enthusiasm regarding a rebranding of the sales particulars was timely and pulled in a lot more interest and viewings. Even though, in the end, the flat sold to an older person!
The response of the office and herself to phone calls and emails has been speedy and efficient and the impression is that she is part of an effective office team.
I have found her service personable and efficient and am more than happy to recommend her personally, and Miles and Son, Swanage.

I have just completed on the sale of an awkward property that with any other agent would have driven me to drink!
Throughout long, tortuous and repeated negotiations, they (especially Richard Lock, the manager) remained patient, positive and cheerful, as well as a source of consistently good advice. (If I drove him to drink, he certainly didn't show it!)
Overall, the experience has convinced me that Estate Agents are NOT all the same, and I heartily recommend this firm.
