Despite knowing that we were not intending to sell at the moment, Ash, the branch manager was happy to offer us a free valuation. He was very pleasant and took a good deal of time to value the house and talk to us. We were very impressed with the background preparation that he had done and the helpful information that he gave us.

Me and my partner have just brought our first home together through Morris Dibben and I cannot express how much we would recommend them. The main person we were dealing with was Jamie and he went above and beyond to aid us with a smooth move. We had a lot of questions being our first time going through this process and Jamie could not have been better. We really appreciate the work effort he has and desire to help where possible and to reassure us if things were held up on the solicitor end. We also used their mortgage broker, Richard, who managed to advise us perfectly before rates increased so we locked in for a rate that even now isn’t available. He was very friendly and extremely clear going through everything with us to help us understand everything. We both want to thank Morris Dibben, Richard and especially Jamie for all their help.

At the beginning of the letting experience with MD, I'd never had a more pleasurable letting experience. However, upon depature of the property, MD have lied to me and the landlord about verbal agreements made at the beginning of the tenancy. I wouldn't trust this letting agent. Be careful about using them.

Awful. Very dishonest and misleading. Can’t do the job they’re supposed to e.g. qualifying buyers to ensure they’re serious and in a position to buy. They’re more interested in up selling and meeting targets for sign up to marketing packages/use of internal solicitors/insurance etc etc. Huge lack of communication and I constantly had to chase. We wasted months being signed to them and achieved nothing.

Great front end service to get you in and signed up as a Landlord, then let down by everything else that comes after. Paid for a fully managed service which is not cheap but can't wait for the contract to end as it has been one let down after another. I also dread to think what the service has been like for our tenants if this is how they treat their landlords.
Since I posted this review the Morris Dibben branch staff have contacted me directly and asked my to remove my review and re-post it as a review of Countrywide who provide all the Property Management and Maintenance services. I don't believe this would be appropriate but I am happy to further clarify my statements. I am not unhappy about the tenent finding process carried out by the Morris Dibben branch or the tenant vetting service, there are also no issues regarding their marketing of the property. My issues are indeed with the Property Management and Maintenace side of the service. However, as Morris Dibben have chosen to sub-contract this entire service to Countrywide and as I, as a landlord, have no say over who is providing this service my overall view remains the same that I would not recommend signing up for a full managed service with Morris Dibben.

Matt has always been excellent whether it be his speed of finding a new tenant, resolving any change of tenancy matters or generally getting an update on the local market. This does not reflect my position regarding parent company- Countrywide Lettings, we are at odds as they allowed my family to live in a flooded house in midwinter without effecting repair and ironically without hot water for two weeks. The rotting carpets were a trip hazard for 37 days and although promised- NO dehumidifiers were supplied. This was in January and I am still awaiting the Ombudsman to get around to the case... I would NEVER advise anyone to use Countrywide… not ever.

Purchased a property, completed on a Thursday, seller dropped off a set of keys, so able to access property. No contact from local branch to say completion completed. Visited local branch two days later. No one available from lettings, staff member could not find or release keys, despite making a number of phone calls. What a joke guys. I have bought numerous properties over the years, so I know the routine. There are obviously staffing and morale issues at this branch, get it sorted people.
