Kayleigh was so quick to respond to every question I had, and had my place rented out after the first viewings - for more than initially expected too! She was brilliant in her responses,fast,efficient and friendly. Organised property viewing, references checks and other bits that comes when looking for property to rent.

RENTING EXPERIENCE REVIEW
We’ve rented from them for the past 2.5 years and it’s been absolute hell.
We’ve had all sorts of problems from blocked drains leaving us unable to use the bathroom to a roof leak, unimaginable damp issues and a rat infestation.
They have completely ignored all maintenance requests from the get go.
There are people in London purchasing cheap properties in the valleys, renting them out using Nexa. They want to make money. They DO NOT CARE about the living conditions for you and your family.
Their staff, Kayleigh especially are rude when you ring them for help, with a “well what do you expect us to do about it” attitude!
The moment we complained to environmental health we were met with an eviction notice!

What an absolute disaster of a letting agency! I'd use much stronger language, but I'll keep it somewhat polite. Nexa's staff are quick to open their mouths wide and demand rent, but when it comes time to return the deposit, they suddenly can't speak and give the most absurd excuses. It's infuriating. They are nothing but a bunch of people who think they can get away with ripping people off. Save yourself the headache and avoid this agency like the plague. If you're even remotely considering Nexa, do yourself a massive favour and look elsewhere. Trust me, all those positive reviews look fake—there's no way anyone in their right mind would genuinely have a good experience with this joke of a company. I wouldn't recommend Nexa to my worst enemy. ????????Run, don't walk, away from these people????????

I would like to thank Kayleigh and her staff for the great service they provide in general but more so with a problem tenant, its easy for the landlord to be labelled bad but when my property isn't being looked after, they stepped in following an inspection and made the tenant aware of they're responsibilities regarding the upkeep of my property, great service, great communication and special thanks to the maintenance team for the continued service i receive.

I cannot recommend Kayleigh enough at Nexa. From the very start she has taken so much care in making sure I had the right renters. Especially with this being my first time renting my property, she was extremely professional and reassuring through out. I felt as if she was treating my home like it was her own giving that extra level of care. Even with making sure the property was inspected by herself to provide me the reassurance I needed.

Just finished letting with NEXA and they were fab! There was a small dispute with my deposit for a light clean which delayed my deposit a little, but that was my fault and to be fair, everyone was communicative throughout.
Always had a good experience with Rhi and Ian from the maintenance team and the admin girls were were always friendly when I came in for anything.

Brilliant experience with NEXA and happy to continue renting with them in another property for next academic year.
They were really helpful at communicating the deposit process to me (because I needed to put another one down for my next property) and the external company they use to protect it sent it back to me within around 2 weeks. Some reviews mention deposit issues but I guess this only applies if there’s a dispute between landlord and tenant and that’s what probaly causes the delay ???????????

I am extremely disappointed with this letting agency. They unfairly kept my deposit and have been unresponsive to my emails and phone calls. When I tried to share my experience, they responded by flooding their page with fake positive reviews, from their own staff and funny they reply to 5 star rating given by themselves ???? get a life ???? your not helping in progressing a business made with pure hard work, its by exploiting and stealing. It’s disgraceful how they exploit students for profit. To anyone considering renting through this agency, be warned: their practices are unethical and dishonest. Shame on everyone involved in such a corrupt organization.

I've had a thoroughly disappointing experience with Nexa. The customer service has been abysmal from start to finish. From delayed responses to unhelpful staff, it's been a struggle to get anything sorted.
The agency seems more interested in collecting fees than providing a decent service. Simple requests take ages to be addressed, and I've had to chase them repeatedly for updates.

How on earth does Nexa have a 4.5 rating? It's definitely filled with fake 5-star reviews to inflate their score. I hate that I have to give even one star because this agency doesn't deserve it. It would take a miracle for them to pull off even one genuine star.
Firstly, their maintenance is really slow. Any issues reported take forever to be addressed, and they only take action when threatened with involvement from the council, belive me when I say this, even that doesnt shake them you will defently need to involve council to get something done. It's clear they have no intention of maintaining their properties properly unless forced to do so.
The staff at Nexa are incredibly rude and unprofessional. They lack basic courtesy and seem to have no idea how to talk to tenants. To make matters worse, the staff keep changing. Once you finally manage to talk to someone about an issue, they disappear, and the next person has no idea what's going on. Each new staff member behaves like a pro, waving the rule book in your face, but ultimately, they're just as clueless and unhelpful as the last.
When it comes to your deposit, kiss it goodbye. No matter how clean you leave the house, they will find a way to take your money. It’s clear this is where they make their profit, exploiting every tiny detail to justify withholding your deposit. Their tactics are blatantly unfair and designed to scam tenants out of their money.
Additionally, they have a tendency to give out keys late, causing unnecessary stress and inconvenience. However, if you're even a minute late with anything, they charge you fees. The staff seem trained to exploit tenants and find any possible way to extract more money, particularly when it comes to deposits.
Avoid Nexa at all costs. Their poor service, rude and unethical practices make them a nightmare to deal with. Save yourself the trouble and choose a more reputable agency.

Probably the worst agent I have ever had to deal with I'm my 22 years of renting. Even with environmental health involved, they fail to respond. A year and a half to fix a botched bathroom, that has leaked every day. At one point, I was left with 3 leaks with two children, vacated my property at their request, and still, the work wasn't completed. Workmen damaged my belongings and carpets. Still have a leak and a front door that isn't secure. Attached are pictures of my carpet.

The worst renting experience I have ever encountered! They might be good for landlords, but not for tenants with a dodgy landlord!
The landlord and NEXA felt it was OK that our bathroom and kitchen extension couldn't get above 10 degrees when it was 1 degree outside, and the main house was heated to 20 degrees. Subsequently, we had mould growing on our personal items as well as mould growing everywhere in the house.
After numerous attempts to request insulation in the walls and roof (there was non) as well as a permanent fix, NEXA and the landlord couldn't have cared less. When we had an inspection from an employee who we had never dealt with before, was shocked. Later when we tried to contact her directly via NEXA we couldn't get hold of her.
After all of this, we contacted PUBLIC HEALTH, who everyone should contact who has a dodgy landlord. They visited and wrote up a report with lots of issues with the house, including fire safety issues. We were served a section 21, no doubt because we were a problem for NEXA and the landlords dodgy operation.
We never requested any money back, but we're glad the landlord couldn't re-let the property without significant alterations to the property and the landlords' expense.
This isn't a win for tenants as it doesn't solve the problem, just catches dodgy landlords rather than prevents. Do not let this company rent you a house!

Worst letting agent I have known. Once signed on dotted line they are not interested in you as long as you pay your rent. We moved from Scotland and house was not habitable, kitchen was disgusting, toilet didn't flush, bath panel broken, grout on tiles a disgusting mould colour. When you report faults takes weeks to fix even longer if you have a dodgy landlord who won't put new things in.Agent Kayleigh is a complete nightmare does not answer your calls and is very sarcastic. Avoid this company at all costs.Not even worthy of one star never mind 4

This was our first experience dealing with an agent for our BTL property and after having the pleasure of dealing with Kayleigh and Jazmin at NEXA there’s no other agent we would go to! Finding a tenant can be stressful but Kayleigh has provided us with such confidence and support throughout the process she’s been absolutely amazing from start to finish, she’s always at the end of the phone when we had any questions or advice which is great! I have lived at my property for a year and a half with a leak from bathroom into kitchen at rapid rate. Meaning I can bath in half the water and not shower at all. NEXA has recently taken over my the old agency and I cannot fault. I have just had Ian maintain around and he has fixed. He was an absolute star explained everything fully. Sometimes can be daunting allowing other into your safe space but was so smooth! Fixed even when the call out was only to look at the problem. I rented out an apartment for professionals, we were given an online portal to contact them during our tenancy regarding any issues, but they were rarely answered or takes 2 months to fix a toilet.
Young, uneducated staff, mostly work from home with no work ethics and professional behaviour.
To get some paperwork, I had to go back and forth to the office and take a few days off.
Use outdated images and videos to deceive clients instead of the current state of the properties, Terrible staff;
AVOID !!! if you are a tenant.

For some reason estate agents don’t really have a great reputation. Luckily for me and for Nexa, Emma is not your typical estate agent!
In my case she had to deal with squabbling siblings, lots of delays and money issues; I’m pretty sure most of these problems were WAY out of her job description, but she took them all in her stride.
She dealt with everything that was thrown at her with warmth, efficiency and diplomacy. Most of all, She kept everyone informed as to what was going on so we never were left in the dark.
She nudged things along when they needed nudging and encouraged with things weren’t going so well.
I’ve no doubt Emma would make a great mum and is a great friend. Both of these qualities make for a VERY good estate agent.

This agency does not even deserve one star!!! Rented a student property from them and have never had such a bad experience.
To begin, staff are extremely rude and even turned up to the property stinking of weed when assessing issues in the property.
The house had EXTENSIVE mold and damp patches throughout, rats, broken boiler, no working cooking facilities, broken locks, broken beds, mattress toppers used AS mattress, leaking taps, broken shower TO NAME A FEW ISSUES. Cleaning was also never provided when moving in so we found dirt EVERYWHERE.
It took nearly 6 months for these issues to be resolved and around 10 different 'professionals' to come and fix things. However, these 'professionals' only made issues worse including bursting water pipes by drilling straight through floorboards.
Nexa failed to respond appropriately and told us the house is 'fit for purpose' even when 100s of photos of health and safety issues were sent their way.
The majority of these current reviews are clearly fake and orchestrated. Every single student who has used this agency has had the same issues.

Brilliant service!
Despite a series of setbacks, which at different points threatened the sale of the property, Emma Harbord ploughed through the problems with a cheerful, can-do attitude.
When a sale went awry, Emma concentrated her efforts on getting a new purchaser and within a couple of days, the house was sold.
We are in a day and age where customer care has gone out of the window, but Emma keeps to those great traditions. She made sure that everyone was communicated with and looked positively for solutions to the various issues that arose. Whenever I needed to speak to her, the phone was answered promptly, or I received a call back from her within minutes.
From now on, I will only be using Nexa in South Wales.

You sign a contract and there is nothing you can do to escape the liability no matter how poor their performance. Central heating condemned twice. Effluent coming out of shower tray and NEVER repaired. Mould throughout, soiled mattresses and the list goes on and on. If you love your kids, never sign up with these cowboys, they would be healthier living in a tent.

I’m writing this review to share my gratitude to Jasmine at NEXA! I reported at 4:15 my front door would not lock, baring in mind the office closes at 4:30 Jasmine sorted a locksmith to visit my property within the hour. The locksmith came shortly after. Overall it took an hour for the problem to be rectified. After panicking we would have to stay with the door unlocked it was a massive relief at how fast it had all been sorted. I can’t thank you enough Jazmine.
NEXA as a whole have been great with us as tenants. There’s been a few issues from a poor renovation (not Nexa’s fault, outside renovation team) and NEXA have rectified any problem we have found.

Ian has also been brilliant; coming out to sort out any maintenance issues in good time and also when needed on a weekend. (Left a voicemail on the maintenance line in the morning and by half 12 he was here to fix the issue! On a Sunday!!) Both times he’s been out to me, he’s made sure he can do as much as possible before leaving, which is really appreciated.

Our relationship we’ve got with the whole business is amazing, but in particular we have a brilliant relationship with Kayleigh who oversees our property portfolio. Anything we need doing, we are advised on the best way to complete it, any issues which may arise with our properties is dealt with professionally and we are sent photos of what it is that needs doing to keep our properties at the standard we want.
Kayleigh understands how we work as a business and what our standard of work & how we want to operate in terms of tenants is too.

When being shown student accommodations, we were shown multiple house that had dead flies everywhere, holes in the wall that were big as footballs, some were man made just for door handles to go in when doors were open. Safety hazards such as having washing machines on top of dryers, poorly patched up cracks, mould issues created from very bad damp and so much more safety issues.
From the first day me and my house mates moved into a nexa owned student house, we've had numerous amount of issues. We had previously been waiting for a bedroom to be cleaned, changed bed frame, new mattress and DIY to be done for a year, only recently it had been cleaned. Roughly 2 months into our tenancy, my room started to have damp, out of no where I had water marks in a big circular shape on one wall and water marks running down on the entire top half of the wall on the side of the window. Mold started growing and when I kept reminding the agency, they just left it. In the end I got rid of the mold myself and the damp is still there from when it started over a year ago.
We found the communication between the staff who oversees maintenance in the shop with the actual maintenance team is very poor. I would try ringing in about maintenance issues within the house, the phone would barely get answered as we would be ignored. When I would finally get an answer or need to go to the shop, I'd report maintenance, some would be emergencies and no one would come to see the problem for atleast 3 days minimum. When the phone does get answered, the majority of the time, the accountant would answer the phone instead of the head of the maintenance for the houses. The shop closes at 4:30 and not open on weekends so if we get issues towards the end of the week, they don't bother telling maintenance that things needs to be done and we have to wait for someone to come at least the middle of next week. We have to wait until Mondays to report issues even if there are emergencies on weekends or friday evenings.
Throughout our 14 months as tenants, we would have had promises that things will get done or the staff will improve but nothing changes. Always false promises. The staff even let a random stranger be put onto our tenancy without the rest of the tenants knowing! He got covid, trashed our house, lived there for 2 weeks without any acknowledgement, used our food, smoked in the house and didn't even reimburse myself for the bills that he was meant to pay! Honestly there has been more stress than needed to be. It has felt that we've all been taken advantage of as we are students. Our main area of concern is the lack of communication from in shop staff to the maintenance team as my household and numerous households have had to deal with issues in houses longer than they need too.
I found that one of the staff members jazmine who showed us all of the student houses was very professional and very helpful. She has helped us find the house, understand bills and even apologised for other staff members wrong doings.
When the maintenance team finally have been informed about the issues. They come to the house and are very friendly. 2 maintenance members I've dealt with, Ian and David, they have continued to communicate with us, stayed late to put an entire new bed frame together, helped fix all of the issues and do an amazing job with it. My household agrees that the maintenance team are quite amazing at what they do but have been let down by terrible communication from staff members in the shop. We find that the maintenance team are quite reliable and once they know about an issue, they will do what they can to help fix it.
Overall, I found that all the problems are based within a few members of staff within the shop not communicating with the rest of the staff or maintenance. I highly recommend the maintenance team but sadly don't recommend going with this agency for student accommodation as they can be unprofessional, have poor communication and will be taken advantage of for being a student.

Rocket Residential have been incredibly unreliable from day 1.
There has been multiple times where I have tried to contact and they take days if not weeks to get back to you. Today's experience was proof of this. I was supposed to have a routine inspection that I had booked well in advance. The booking was made for 9am today (02/12/2020). I had made them aware that I was supposed to be working but had been allowed to have the morning off. By 9:27am no one had arrived so I decided to call, someone called Dan answered my call and offered little to no help with a dreadful attitude toward trying to get my situation sorted. He didn't seem to want to help me and didn't offer any type of apology for the inconvenience. I was told the person was in Pontypridd (which is not very far from where I live) as they were running over on an earlier job, I was told she would take 30-40 MINUTES to get to my address which is absolutely ludicrous because, again, I didn't live far from where she was. I then told Dan that I will call him back shortly to let him know whether I would like to rearrange or whether I would be able to wait. After a conversation with my manager who confirmed that I would be able to have a little more time off to accommodate, I called again and found out that instead of waiting for me to confirm Dan had CANCELLED THE APPOINTMENT. After talking with him I eventually managed to get him to agree to try and get someone out to my address to do the inspection. I was told 20-30 MINUTES. NEARLY 50 MINUTES later, someone called Laura (I think) came to do the inspection. My experience with her was very positive so I have no complaints there. The only point of criticism I would have is that she wasn't in any uniform and didn't display any kind of identification card to let me know that she actually worked for Rocket Residential. I raised many issues with her and she did note everything down. I hope that these get looked into and on top of that my experience as a whole. I think Dan needs a little more training on the phones as he seemed incredibly clueless to what was going on and clearly doesn't know how to at least empathise with customers/clients.
I also recommend looking into the reason for such incredibly slow replies from everyone I have emailed including Carenza and Jazmin. It shouldn't take weeks to get a reply.

Rocket Residential responded to an e-mail of ours telling us we needed to move out in less than 24 hours due to another family moving in on the 1st of July. Despite describing our already made plans to move out on the 4th, they told us that unfortunately they could not do anything about it and that we needed to get out. This led to a very stressful day of rush packing and cleaning and having to make emergency arrangements with a friend in the area to stay with- which we are exceedingly lucky to have, otherwise we would have been homeless (with no hotels guaranteed to be taking guests). After all of this stress, we were then told that they somehow made a mistake and mixed us up with another house- absolutely unbelievable. An incredible amount of stress, fear and frustration all because someone could not read an e-mail or bother to look up who lived at our address.
This has been almost the perfect send-off after years of botched attempts at stopping the woodlouse infestation, doing nothing about the slugs that came into our house and poorly organising builders (who would complain about each others work) to make a second bathroom (which was not even functional for months).
Please be wary when letting with Rocket- If you have any issues over the weekend there is no given emergency maintenance number, so you're unfortunately completely out of luck. Several times was our toilet blocked and unusable for the entirety of the weekend with absolutely no help until the following Monday.
All in all an unpleasant experience.

One of the few times that I can say I've had the most pleasant experience with an estate agent right the way through my tenancy.
Even located away from the agency office, they have been easy to communicate and quick to sort any issues that may arise.
A very personal service right through from signing to settling the deposit, I cannot recommend this estate agent more to anyone else who wants a seamless transition into a new home.

Horrendous experience from day one. Would wait for weeks for things to be fixed, we had no hot water coming from our shower and complained numerous times. Making us shower in freezing water. My bedroom door handle was broken, took months to fix, by the time it got fixed, I was moving out.I got told maintenance had fixed my door handle, this was a lie and had to argue to say it hasn't been fixed. Window door handle was broken, took weeks to fix, my room was absolutely freezing to the point I was getting ill. Took weeks to pay my deposit back and got money deducted for 'dusting issues'. My room was extremely clean. This agency would constantly lie about my deposit. Be weary going with this agency. Many people have faced problems.

They could have had 5 star, but they started being dishonest when i moved out from a flat that they took over from a different agency while i was living there. I am still struggling to get an agreed bond back due to a 45 quid cleaning bill from them. They tried to take the 45 quid with total dishonesty and lack of transparency .
Liam also said , my new place would be cleaned before i moved in. But no, I had to clean it all, and the old flat before i moved in there too. Nor did they care that there are rats there in the flat, walls and grounds even tho i got 2 very young kids that on occasion came around !!
